Peterson Strobe Tuners StroboPlus HDC preview. Is it the best metronome ever?

I have had the pleasure of beta testing the new StroboPlus HDC from Peterson Strobe Tuners during the last few months. The HDC is a metronome, digital strobe tuner, tone generator, set timer all in one.
The metronome features any time signature from 2/2-19/16 with 100’s of subdivisions and accent patterns. You want polyrhythms? It can do that too!
There are five distinct metronome sounds, including a sampled human voice.
The HDC utilizes a newly designed web based Tempo Map utility which allows you to program 1000’s of measures into the HDC up to 100 presets. Tempo changes, accent patterns, subdivisions, voices, mute, and color changes are all programmable with newly added features like accelerando and ritardando with multiple ways to accommodate the tempo change.
Accurate to 1/10th of a cent and containing the highest resolution screen that Peterson has to offer; the HDC is the most accurate digital tuner available. I almost forgot to mention the 200+ sweetened and guided tunings.

How many bars are available with the tempo map?

It will depend upon how much is programmed, like the new accel/rit ramps, color and flash mode changes.
Thousands of bars can be programmed. I put a local high school’s entire marching band show into my HDC, and the memory still shows 99% available.

Is it loud enough to be heard over a brass trio counting in time together?

@@soundknight I’m not sure. How are you guys counting while playing Brass? Lol. The metronome is pretty loud. If you need more volume, you can plug into an aux input on a bluetooth speaker or regular speaker and crank it even more.
