The best reviews come from those who actually own the vehicle and drive it daily. My whole family loves our 2019 Pacifica. I chose it over all other minivans available and have zero regrets after owning it for 14 months now. No other current minivan looks as nice as the Pacifica (inside or out). It's priced right, drives amazingly smooth, gets good gas mileage, lots of power...and looks great! And the Stow-N-Go seating is a must for anyone who needs to haul things now and then. Excellent vehicle!
Some people need the extra room that you get in this Pacifica. Many other features you won’t find in an SUV. Chrysler has you covered with the Pacifica. Good job Joe! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
I had a 2000 Voyager LX and didn't have any kids at the time, I also loved my minivan while I had it. I have grand kids now, so I'm thinking of going back to a minivan by Chrysler.
Cadillac has taken a downturn in luxury over the last few years. I think they should never have focused so much on making SUVs like the silly Escalade pickups...
Love mine. Got the "S" appearance package that blacks out the car with 20" black wheels. Tri-pane sunroof is gorgeous. Entertainment system is unsurpassed. Passed on the Odyssey and Sienna (as a former owner of the Odyssey).
We have owned the Pacifica Limited for about 1.5 years and love it! We actually like it more than the Audio Q7 that the Pacifica replced. It has been reliable snd has great mpg. Oh and btw it has rear heated seats (controls are in each rear side door). Ours hs the Harman Kardon stereo and it sonds great!

My wife and I detested minivans for the longest time. I think it was what they "represented" We both love our trucks and SUVs, but as her Flex is getting on in the mileage, we are really considering the Pacifica. The dollar to feature ratio is better than an SUV on the market. A fully loaded Pacifica can be purchased for less than an entry-level Expedition, and the amount of storage that it has is insane!
We have a 2018 with the S package. With the 20 inch wheels. It's ocean blue. Ir's beautiful and has been great. Comfortable,great fuel economy ane good power. It really turns heads for a minivan. Anybody that has been inside has been impressed!
I rented one from Vegas to San Diego and I enjoyed the comfort, utility and conveniences THOROUGHLY. So much so that I'd consider picking one up used for road trips and rainy day grocery runs. Great vehicle
I had a 1996 Dodge Caravan extended version for 20 years. It was great fir hauling 4 people, 4 dogs, water skiis and a multitude of stuff on trips. With 4 captain's chairs and sliding doors on both sides we traveled in comfort. We had it for 20 plus years. And it drove well.
In 1984 my wife and I bought the first year Dodge Caravan. Only passenger side sliding door, no power doors but we loved it. Purchased 4 different Chrysler product minivans. Latest is the 2020 Pacifica Limited with S appearance package. Ceramic Grey with 20” black wheels. Absolutely gorgeous. We ordered every available option including the rear entertainment system.. These are amazing vehicles

Wireless charging in a car is really not needed unless the infotainment system connects to your phone wireless and not many do that right now. Your phone has to be plugged in the use the system and it will be charged all the time. But this was a great video, I'm really looking at this one for my next car.

I am a minivan fan because of the versatility and space. I had a 2002 Honda Odyssey and upgraded to a 2010 Town and Country. I recently drove a Pacifica. It retains the stow and go seats, which after having used them have become a necessity. The Pacifica has fixed almost every deficiency I found in the T&C. The turning circle is much better; The engine oil change only takes 5Q of oil; The dashboard is also improved. In addition, there are new features... Park assist; 360 view around the car; forward collision warning; and hands free door opening; There are some things yet to address tho... like the reliability. When these things work, they are wonders of engineering. However, I would recommend an extended warranty that would cover the electronics and the 3rd seat closing mechanism. Even the video shows how the seat doesn't always go flat. I second the call to move the closing button to the door edge. My wife has gotten clocked twice on the head from our T&C. I also lament that the 3rd row windows no longer open. Be aware that ESS (Electronic Start/Stop) annoys most drivers and can only be overridden EVERY time you start your car. There is no way to default it to off. This is standard on all models of Pacificas since the middle of 2017. I do like that the second row windows DO open. Overall, I intend to buy a lightly used 2017 Pacifica Limited for my next car. .
the phev is a bestbuy after all the rebates and credit. The gas saving alone is great. These Van in city driving short distance are horribble in mpg. This is where plugin hybrid shine.
This is such a nice ride , good seat configuration for driver , roomy , powerful , pretty quite on long drives seats fall into floor somypu can haul anything a truck can sliding side doors both sides, easy to reverse nice camera the best I've seen and good on fuel.
It's a shame that Ford, GM, and Nissan couldn't keep up in the minivan market. They'd probably still be producing them if they had fixed the reliability and safety issues that they had with them.
Minivans were the original crossovers, between sedans and vans. They had the cargo volume and seating volume of a van with the driving characteristics of a full size sedan. To this day they are still the best people hauler. I would get the 8 passenger version, usable arm rest in the middle and they still all fold down. Also in the plug in hybrid version the second row loses its stow and go because they use that compartment for the batteries. The second row seats have to be removed traditionally. The plug in hybrid is actually pretty neato with 32 miles of ev range, perfect for commuting kids to and from school or running into town for groceries. Also you can get this with a tow package and its rated to tow 3600lbs. With a payload around 1700, you can comfortably haul 8 people and a fully loaded 3600lb trailer with all their stuff. The only thing better than this will be a new suburban, and even then it will be trading a stiffer ride and worse fuel economy for better towing
Get rid of the vacuum and put the cup holders back on both sides. I have a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan and I live it. Also the button lower down to close the tailgate is very smart, it works better for shorter people, instead of putting it way up one the bottom of the door when it’s way up high.
Do me favor, for just 1 video at least, could you wear sweatpants and a coat so that those of us in the northeast don't feel so sad. Your sunny weather is depressing me.
Basically the Pacifica is what's saving chrysler right now. They only have two cars left in there entire line up the 300 and Pacifica I hope chrysler survive many more years.
I have the spare tire. This deletes the vacuum cleaner and gives the rear left passenger a cup holder. Granted, if I did have the vac I could clean the interior while waiting for the flatbed to tow the van away, but I'd just as soon change the tire and be on my way.
I think the center mirror with the minimal black frame is actually better because when you go to adjust it, drivers with different hand sizes might accidentally smudge the mirror itself with the fingers if it was fully frameless
those smiling at this review need to read Scotty Kilmer's comments on this manufacturer. Scotty works on all cars and gives a true reflection on each one.
The car is great, but I don't understand why in USA the hazards are blinking red instead of orange like, for example, in Europe. It makes harder to notice it in traffic. That can sometimes be risky or dangerous. Orange ones are far more visible than red ones.
What the difference between a 2018. 2019, ? What about a the Hybrid Pacifica, is it still stow away? I can't afford the Pacifica living in Canada, so I am looking at a used Dodge Caravan GT, or a used Town and Country. Do you recommend any one off those Vans, Joe?
Other than the rear quarter windows not opening and having to make a choice between a vacuum cleaner and a spare tire, the Pacifica is better in every way than the Grand Caravan. Having said that, I bought a Grand Caravan Crew Plus, the price difference between the GC at that trim level, and what i'd have to pay for a Pacifica at the equivalent trim level was more than 10 K. I don't have all the tech, but I have leather heated seats, tri-zone climate control, power rear quarter windows, ambient lighting, illuminated cup holders, overhead storage bins (!) and while my wife is shopping and i'm waiting in the van I can watch a movie on the head unit at a volume level she would complain about. I've had it two years and no issues, I bought the extended warranty, rustproofing, and the running boards, and so far, so good. The resale value will likely be hilariously low by the time I'm ready to trade it in or sell it, but no one else offers a cost effective vehicle that seats 7, is comfortable, and that can have the 2nd and 3rd rows of seats fold flat into the floor leaving a 4 by 8 ft cargo area with a flat floor. Versatility, cost efficiency, and comfort, check, check, check. Fit and finish, quality of materials, meh. I could do a lot better, but not at that price point and usability level.
Jon, I have 2017 Sienna Ltd, regrettably was in traffic accident, now have a rental dodge crew plus. Possibly I am not used to, but seat really not comfortable, almost no acceleration, drives poorly. Might be I didn't configure seat properly

My Pacifica Hybrid is the smoothest ride with HD suspension to account for the extra weight of the battery. I also received a $14,000 tax incentive payout where I live in Ontario (where it is made) which is no longer offered anymore thanks to the Conservatives here (ironic slogan; Open for Business) which business?

I'm so iffy about a Chrysler. My mom bought a BRAND NEW Sebring back around 2000, and that car was terrible. Seats cracked, paint peeled (after less than 2 years), the trunk filled with water, the CD player broke, the buttons on the center mirror actually MELTED (no, I am not kidding). The only thing that seemed great after her years of ownership is the engine. Hopefully Chrysler has gotten 500% better since those days.
I like the ease of stowing the seats and how it flattens the floor. But what does it do for ground clearance? I wouldn't want to be scraping the bottom on driveways and speed bumps.

How long ago? So many vehicles with big sunroofs end up leaking 5-10 years later.

My white Sienna had to be repainted by Toyota . All the plastic parts break . Rubber exterior trim coming apart . Wouldn't buy another

The car is great, but I don't understand why in USA the hazards are blinking red instead of orange like, for example, in Europe. It makes harder to notice it in traffic. That can sometimes be risky or dangerous. Orange ones are far more visible than red ones.
What the difference between a 2018. 2019, ? What about a the Hybrid Pacifica, is it still stow away? I can't afford the Pacifica living in Canada, so I am looking at a used Dodge Caravan GT, or a used Town and Country. Do you recommend any one off those Vans, Joe?

Looks like that center display could have easily been 10" as an option.
Other than the rear quarter windows not opening and having to make a choice between a vacuum cleaner and a spare tire, the Pacifica is better in every way than the Grand Caravan.
Having said that, I bought a Grand Caravan Crew Plus, the price difference between the GC at that trim level, and what i'd have to pay for a Pacifica at the equivalent trim level was more than 10 K. I don't have all the tech, but I have leather heated seats, tri-zone climate control, power rear quarter windows, ambient lighting, illuminated cup holders, overhead storage bins (!) and while my wife is shopping and i'm waiting in the van I can watch a movie on the head unit at a volume level she would complain about.
I've had it two years and no issues, I bought the extended warranty, rustproofing, and the running boards, and so far, so good. The resale value will likely be hilariously low by the time I'm ready to trade it in or sell it, but no one else offers a cost effective vehicle that seats 7, is comfortable, and that can have the 2nd and 3rd rows of seats fold flat into the floor leaving a 4 by 8 ft cargo area with a flat floor. Versatility, cost efficiency, and comfort, check, check, check. Fit and finish, quality of materials, meh. I could do a lot better, but not at that price point and usability level.

Jon, I have 2017 Sienna Ltd, regrettably was in traffic accident, now have a rental dodge crew plus. Possibly I am not used to, but seat really not comfortable, almost no acceleration, drives poorly. Might be I didn't configure seat properly
2021 Toyota Sienna looking mighty sexy, gonna wait for it to come out and compare before making my decision.
It would be an added feature if they figured out how to power the middle seats into the floor and up.

My Pacifica Hybrid is the smoothest ride with HD suspension to account for the extra weight of the battery. I also received a $14,000 tax incentive payout where I live in Ontario (where it is made) which is no longer offered anymore thanks to the Conservatives here (ironic slogan; Open for Business) which business?

When the Pacifica first came out as a minivan I was not a fan of it especially the rear. I thought of it as a bigger 200 but over time it grew on me

I'm so iffy about a Chrysler. My mom bought a BRAND NEW Sebring back around 2000, and that car was terrible. Seats cracked, paint peeled (after less than 2 years), the trunk filled with water, the CD player broke, the buttons on the center mirror actually MELTED (no, I am not kidding). The only thing that seemed great after her years of ownership is the engine. Hopefully Chrysler has gotten 500% better since those days.
We have owned and sienna a oddessey and a Pacifica and out of alll we kept the pacificq
Joe i think they never put led bulbs in the headlamp. I think they kept them HID which was a disappointment.
I like the ease of stowing the seats and how it flattens the floor. But what does it do for ground clearance? I wouldn't want to be scraping the bottom on driveways and speed bumps.
