Virginia offers a fantastic education benefit for Veterans & their Families, but a fight is unfolding over the rules governing that program. It is following the path of many government programs. So understanding the process can even help folks living outside of the state.

Appreciate you taking the time to put together this video.
Thanks.
Another great video to finish off the week, Chuck! Thanks!
Thanks...I've been trying to be a bit more interesting and useful this week....Next week I'll get back to being boring and off topic.
@@the_bureaucrat ...I keep looking for a weekend safety brief from you on Fridays ...maybe tack one in the corner at the end of Friday's video...also...Off Topic...the last Civil War Widow died in December 2020...that's pretty astonishing. See you Monday...(if I can survive w/o guidance)!
You’re right on point sir. This is going to be more and more ubiquitous going forward because the wars have wound down, we’re very popular to help when it’s inexpensive. It’s going to get worse in the coming years too. Desert Storm saw a resurgence in military/veteran popularity, but before that we were all languishing away being seen as a big tax burden. As my man Rudyard Kipling so astutely observed in his poem “Tommy.” The civilians treated poor Tommy like crap until they needed him, “for it’s Tommy this and Tommy that and chuck him out the brute. But it’s savior of his country when the guns begin to shoot.”
Gonna look that poem up.
