I love your patterns. Unfortunately very few of them are actually big enough straight off bat. How can I upscale the pattern to fit my size. Thank you for showing how you sew 2 lengths together. My loom is only 16 inches wide.
@nanettebromley8843 it depends how confident you are with pattern drafting. It's a multi size pattern, so by measuring the difference between sizes you can scale it up, I just did as many as I could fit on the A0 paper. And make a mock up to check everything!
Very beautiful. How long did it take for you to spin up enough yarn(how many spools and did you use it in a single ply or a double ply?) I undeerstand that everyone spins at a different grist, but an approximation would be helpful. This is for pattern GW T018.
@@lorindaking1922 I'm afraid I have no idea how long it took as I don't time myself, and I've usually got 5 or 6 projects on the go at once. The weft is dyed cotton fibre carded with banana fibre, plied with itself, spun on my Louet Victoria wheel. Sett 10dpi on my 20in Ashford Knitters loom.
@@getweaving8459 Thank you for the response. I've been spinning cotton for a couple of years ( off and on) and it just seems never to be enough. But watching your You Tube channel has inspired me to keep on spinning so I can weave a simple shirt. Thank you.
Thank you for your video. I am impressed by your wonderful ideas and feel motivated by your friendly style of teaching!
Thanks Sarah. What a great new pattern. I especially love the sleeves.

Lovely woven garment. Thank you.
Love your work. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Sarah could you please remind me which iron on fusible tape you use for cutting out woven fabric? Many thanks
@suzannemortimer9752 hi Suzanne, I use one called Stayflex, it's woven so much better for wovens. I buy it from ebay uk.
