As a mimic veteran, i loved every minute of this. It brought me such joy to see newbies playing an old gamemode that can stump even veteran players like myself and my friends!
I don't play the mimic or even roblox in general anymore but I remember playing this back like over a year ago and losing my mind over this cuz randoms sucked at this mode and would just leave. Definitely a fun mode if you have a good friend group.
Yep, TWT is the best mode because no matter how long you’ve played the mimic for certain parts will still cause even pros to struggle

Fun facts about TWT:
1. It is a prequel to The Mimic (mostly Book 1).
2. It was made as a celebration for 10M visits.
3. This is the only gamemode to look like the old Book 1.
4. There is currently a discussion whether Juno, the current MC of TWT, should get replaced with Keiko, the Book 1 MC's mother or not. If Keiko became the MC, the new entire Book 1 lore would make more sense, said Shaowei.
5. Originally, the crawling fleshbags on Part 2, Hanzu was gonna have her own maze, but it was deleted due to the amount of lag it caused, same reason on why her jumpscare was removed
6. Originally, this gamemode has lives but was later removed.
7. Hanzu and Futaomote are the only TWT monsters to have a scrapped/unused model.
8. Originally, Kazeko (tall fleshbag) and Hanzu were supposed to get a remodel along with Saigomo in the second wave of TWT Remodel Update However, this update was later changed into Book 1 Revamp, and they both didn't get any remodel.
9. In the Chapter 4 Trailer, there is a part where you can see the Kyoto Village (final part in TWT) but upside down. However, it was scrapped.
10. There's a secret in the first part where you can find 4 skulls that resemble the beasts.
11. Keiko, Yasu's mother, has replaced Juno, Yasu's cousin, as the MC of TWT.
12. There used to be a scrapped maze for the Fleshbags, but it was later changed.
13. If you use noclip on the first and second part of TWT and you fall into the void, all the monsters will freeze because they thought you left.

witch trials was very easy and barely scary - its way less scary when half of your friend group dont have mics because we were mostly focusing on the chat seeing what was said
