This video applies to the earlier models. In the 2023 the whole light fitting is removed from the roof, held by 3 plastic clips and locked in at the rear with a hook. Pull down from the front to disengage the clips, unplug the one connecting electrical and slide forward to disengage the lock hook. The bulbs are replaced from the top of the light fitting.
Just some friendly advice. As I see you put a lot of time and effort into these videos. At the end you should show the end results for the entire car. Just a little bit more work and it would make the video that much better
When you show how to open the cover of the map lights, it’s either too fast or there is a trick on how to do it because the screw driver seems didn’t touch the cover yet the cover already open.
@@carDIYs maybe only with models produced in Thailand.... But mine is new, latest 2019 model. Definitely no way to remove the bulbs without removing the complete unit.
I’m trying to replace my interior lights on the front dome but after taking the old bulbs out the new ones won’t sit in the wedge part properly have you got a picture of how the metal holders should look so the bulbs for properly ? Thanks in advance

Thanks mate exactly what i looking for. Do you know how to change the rear plate lights ? And if you know which light bulb should i use
Just purchased a 2019 c-hr in Thailand. The front interior light has to be removed in total, then you can change the bulbs
Not sure if this is the case with new models

I agree. I purchased my car in 2018 in the U.S and the bulb is too hard to be removed.
Which sucks because they're very dim as it is.

Just make sure that the metal clips are close enough to hold the bulb

На праворульных плафон снимается полностью. Держиться на трех клипсах. Замена ламп производится с зади плафона.
I think it's silly to change the pleasant warm light to the annoying light LED
