- New Fendt 1042 is a game changer. We finished up planting corn and switched our 24 row planter over to plant beans. I am running the new fendt for the rest of planting and this is an awesome machine. I hope you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to like and subscribe! Thanks!
My name is Michael Wendling. I am a 6th generation farmer in East Central Illinois.
We grow white & yellow corn for Frito Lay, and we also grow soybeans.
The family farm was established in 1879.
I hope you enjoy the videos!

we are currently demoing a 1050 up in Saskatchewan Canada, we are absolutely blown away by these machines. great video
I love how the efficiency of German engineering is also loved by Americans :)
@roberterdei8627Probably built in US but 100% designed in Germany. Fendt is everywhere here is Europe since a century.
@roberterdei8627The 1000 Series is completly buidl in German. Only the two two tracs series 900MT and 1100MT, are build in American, but the Transmission for These two is still Produced in Germany.
@roberterdei8627 Not the smartest are you?
Fendt reliability is amazing and the 1000 series use german made MAN D2676 engines
@roberterdei8627 its a german engine built by MAN
There just HAS to be 1 neg head in every situation, explaining to us no nothins how that everything we have is junk!
I'm ngl, you should start wearing a mask when getting seed, especially when it's treated seed, you don't want to breath in those chemicals...you'll know why in 20+ years. Asap you guys are getting used to Fendt ONE you will love it, dang sure about that. Great machine for any sort of work and work feels so soothing running it. I think it could even turn aorund by itself on the headland if the dealer chose to put that turn assist option into the tractor, so u can literally just lean back and enjoy the ride.
Greetings from Germany!
Best tractors in the world, a lot of them in Ireland too 👍
When it came time to update our planter and tractor, we went with a Fendt Momentum 48 (48x15" soybeans & black beans| 24x30" corn) and a Fendt 1050.
I just got a 1038, I'm liking it..
Man i am new to your channel, love this fendt is a cool machine , epic fields your got that side. Its always nice to watch father and son work together....
Brilliant videos so well done, what a great Family. Good luck to you young Man and your Family the world needs more positive and upbeat people like You.
Self cleaning air filter so what your saying is it sneezes 😂
Fun to finish with both planters in the field! Love the Fendt video , even though I like red! Thanks for all the work to make these, for showing your beautiful farm. Great dirt. Plus 3 generations working . Amazing
Next step ist to get a Väderstadt Tempo Planter. Happy to see that you are happy with the Fendt
That would be awesome!
Great video, great explanation , Dad and Son and Grandpa make a great team! ( from Canada )
My old semi. Had a Cat C15 motor. Id never shifted gears, until 1,000 rpms. Fendt is Light Years ahead of all other Brands.
Love those aerial shots Micheal, hope to see more of them.
Alot of fendts in ireland first fendt i eva drove was a 515c now 828 gen6
515c amazing sound, very different to others.
I had one from 1999 to 2006
Been here way under 1000 subs and there are my comments in early videos :D So happy for you and how channel grows! Hope that great deals are made thanks to that :)
All best from Poland, Europe! :D
Haven't watched you in a while. Loving the drone shots. The sunset shots are amazing.
Great video and really enjoyed the drone footage too! Nicely done mate!
Thanks!
Really enjoying your sharing qll of the detail etc. I worked farming in summers between College and worked cotton, Oats, Alfalfa everythig from cultivating to raking, bailing and siphon pipes for flood irrigation. in the Central San Joaion Valley CA. that was in the mid 50's Lots has changed. How many acres are you farming? beens and corn are good rotation. Thanks for sharing. John K
The all red set up looks better. USA
another cool thing about that Fendt is the power compared to what that planter needs. as OneLonelyFamer put it years ago, use a big tractor for a small job and you'll have less wear and tear on everything. that Fendt doesn't have to work at all to pull that planter.
also, a side note. Fendt was the first company to allow Giants Software to IRL machines into Farming Simulator with Farming Simulator 2009 (or 2011, I can't remember which)
Finnish strong! Hopefully everything ends well for you
Why would you dump the extra corn seed onto the ground rather than collect it in pails ?
Pretty amazing to have all those steps programmed into 2 buttons.... Next thing you know there will be auto turning on end rows
Drove a 1050 last year as a seasonal worker. If I am not mistaken, the manual said something about auto turning, just not with the software this tractor ran with.
Greetings from Germany.
This is Sarcasm since you could do it in our old 2001 JD 8410 and I am pretty sure before that. A B setting are very old school....
And yes, Deere has had auto turn since 2018 (does all this and turns itself around without any human interaction) ...Agco (Fendt, McCormick, Valtra, Massey Feurgerson) is very behind Case/NH or Deere in this area of Tech
@@MonroeTractorGuy.16 here in Europe fendt has auto turn since 2010. Also those go and end buttons since 1995. And cvt transmission is also feom 1995
@@agroamatoori3654the go and end buttons came later. 1995 was the legendary 926 vario ! The buttons came with the 714/716 Vario in 1998.
@@MonroeTractorGuy.16McCormick and landini are ARGO not ARCO
Fendt looks nice in the field. How do you like having windmills in the field?
Are you in Ill , I grew up in Moro , close to Alton & farmed on the neighbors farm.
Greetings from germany !!
Self cleaning air filter , is that cab and engine or only one of them ?
Money must be no object there dumping seed on the ground cleaning the planter out.
I guess we're doing it wrong vacuuming the meters out and saving the seed for next year...
I don’t believe JDetc don’t have these options. We’ve had Fendts for almost 20 years
Dream on.
Are you planting on 30 inch rows?
Nice Videos, Greetings from Germany
Are you keeping the fendt
How to see how much farmers struggle and do without
German's are the smartest f'ers, have to admit. Would buy a Fendt over a JD
All equipment breaks down now and then, both good stuff and less good stuff, and it comes down to how fast one can get things fixed. Many choose equipment based on relation to local dealerships, if they are good or less good at their job
You mean Agco?
You like that tractor do ya ?
Yeah, nice tractor
German Engineering means Quality ;)
German engineering means quality regarding having many high tech functions and high performance. If one want quality regarding reability, one need japanese engineering. The Germans wants to be leading within technology and often put in a lot of high tech into their products that has not been well tested.
Ehhhh not always. I wouldn't buy a Volkswagen if my life depended on it.
how much dose it cost?
400000$
Slow down vac motor
ATLEAST somewhat smart got red equipment..... Say no to foreign stuff keep it american
If you want a REAL German made tractor, try out a Claas Xerion
Ok, they were Build in Le Mans, France!!!
@@dirklehrke6710not the the xerion.
Only the regular tractors
