Month ago, I visited Noo Fin land for the first time , I was totally impressed for the charming and very friendly people and captivated for the scenery. 7 days road trip. We landed in Deer Lake and from there visited table lands, corner broke, lobster cove, gros morne, we drove all around cow head .. Gander , Fogo Island, Quivi Divi, St Johns. I am planning to spend one month next year. Cheers from Riviera Maya
Hello @mark Royle, I just got to your channel and am mesmerized by how gentle Newfoundland is…am a Nigerian mother of two children 5 and 2 respectively…am a banking and finance graduate with technical skills and tailoring too ….. how can I migrate to this beautiful province with my family…I’ve not seen an explanatory video on this…secondly pls can you make a video of primary and kindergarten schools in the province let me know how my kids and I can settle in …and also cost of accommodation here🙏🙏thank you
Thank you for this Video, I'm a Nigerian and seeking a beautiful and peaceful place like noofinland, located in the east, and gets first Sunlight. I and My family would surely Love it here.
My grandmother used to live on Empire Avenue in the 1980s. I used to buy Nan's Caramilk bar in the SpiceX store as a kid. It's great to see the diversity in that neighborhood now.
This is a place that a lot of ppl have fond memories of. I remember as a kid in the 90s that they sold single cigarettes for 50 cents and 3 for a dollar 😆 If we could find a friend’s older brother or sister with a drivers license that would let us in their car on Friday night we’d get them to drive down there and grab a buck or 2 worth of smokes for us. Whatever change we could scrounge up, and we were good to go haha
Hi Mark, where would be a place to start to immigrate to Newfoundland? One of my best friends lives in Bay Roberts and I am seriously considering moving there from North Carolina, USA. Any advice?
Unfortunately you entirely missed the history of Newfoundland and it’s people. These are recent immigrants and also seemingly good people… but these people are new comers and while I’m glad they can enjoy Newfoundland. They are not the part that made Newfoundland such a special place to begin with. Let’s see the CULTURE of Newfoundland next time ya?
This wasn't a history video. I do have history/culture videos on my channel too, and I enjoy making them, but I also enjoy creating videos like this one that make me feel good about the future of NL
How lovely. I really wish you the best of luck with this channel.
No place like it! Love❤️ NL!

@Mark Royle My Nan would give me a note for the cashier to give me cigarettes when I was 8 or 9 years old. They'd never allow that nowadays lol. 😊
@@paulkavanagh3361 haha! The all powerful note! Life was so much easier for trouble-making kids back in those days.
Wow.. now i'm convinced.. I need to find job there.. I hope a company will hire me.
God bless

Sounds a little racist for being a newfoundlander. I was born there and love it but it is a better place with the new immigrants.
