The sheer amount of golf you can watch on that app is unreal. The USGA's is ok, the Open's is ok...the PGA's is not even worth opening.

I’ve only had back luck with fitters, so my info is skewed. But I’d pay 80-100/hour. So I’m not against 150-200 for a full bag fitting. As long as I’m getting quality info
I was at my local course and was sort of trying the NPG challenge. I was only able to do it from about 45 yards away and after 20 tries I put 2 within 3 inches but none went in. If you dropped it down to 1 year I would be willing to give it a try but not 3 years. I don't think I can risk going that long without playing, even for $1M.
13:26 I agree that Cobra did a fantastic job of creating a product that celebrates the tournament but also not at the expense of the product's viability itself; conversely, I feel that they could have released even just the stock interchangeable weights in anodized elements to bring in just a bit of the azalea pink.
On the wedge challenge, I think the answer is almost certainly not. I might get lucky but I wouldn't expect to be able to make one. I'd definitely risk it if I could win $1m but couldn't play golf for 3 years (mainly because I've had a 3 year lay off recently), but I wouldn't expect to be able to do it. I've tried something like this at my local range previously using Top Tracer. It was probably more like 90 yards, I got pretty close, but I don't remember ever getting it in. On the full bag fitting, I would probably pay in the region of ~£200, however I don't think doing a full bag fitting in one go is a good idea. That's a LOT of golf balls to have to hit in one go and fatigue is going to play a huge part in that. I'm basically breaking that cost down into £40 fitting for each of driver, wedges, hybrid/fairway (~45 minutes max), £75 iron (~60 minutes), and £25 putter fitting. I'd personally want to do those as separate sessions though, as I think 50 balls is about the max I'd want to hit in that period of time without getting tired.
NPG April Challenge - Yes I could hole out from 65 in 100 tries... But I'd only give my odds 30%. Would 1 risk golf for 3 year for a 30% chance at $1m? Absolutely yes. I've paid $40 for a driver fitting then went and traded for a used driver with the same specs. So probably would pay $ 150 for a full bag fitting.
April wedge challenge - I think it's possible I could hole put, but pretty unlikely. If I can't golf for a year it would have to be at least a $300k (obviously would go for a million haah)
When i was playing well if i had a 400 or less hole I would never hit driver. 3wood was 250 off the tee. Accuracy over distance always when playing for cash. It served me well back in the day.
Keep in mind it's not accuracy OR distance...it's the relative trade-off between the two. In general, if your driver gets you another 20-25 yards and isn't significantly less accurate, best play is to send it!
@@GolfSpyC I know but back then 300 was solid but the location not so much with a balata ball. I was taught to play by some pretty good players. And they new my 3 wood was money off most par 4 tees. So that was me. Harvey Ward would say nope when I had my driver in my hand. Lol. So trust me, I wasn't bucking him. Lol. But you guys are awesome and while I'm listening, back in the day, accuracy trumped everything for the guys I was learning from. I can't even come close to playing like that now. Lol.

Hitting bombs is cool 😎 but…..is accuracy king? You don’t sit down after a round and talk about how accurate you were that day, you brag about the 340 yard bomb you hit dead nuts! 😂😂😂 That’s the one that brings you back!
I hit my 3 wood 50% fairway. I hit 22% of fairway with driver. With equal number of tee shots with both. When I miss the fairway it by a more the. A bit. I give up on average 26 yards distance from driver to 3 wood.
@@GolfSpyC no the 3 wood is stock off the shelf. I hit it really good off the tee so I haven’t wanted to change that. I had a fitting for driver and it was a bad experience. He was trying to put me into a club I didn’t hit well and it seam like he was rushing the process. I don’t care what the brand is either. I play whatever I hit good.
I’d pay $200 but would have to be outside, on grass, with Trackman and with someone who actually knows what they are talking about. No Lie boards and no Mizuno Shaft Optimizer.
The USGA screwed so many amateur putters by listening to Tiger and Arnie. Rediculous decision. Many players quit playing shortly after due to the rulling. 40 years they allowed it and tiger gets butt hurt because Adam Scott beat him a couple times. Im sick of Tiger, he will let all of us down. He has proven that.

3 cap. Use my 3 wood about half the time, carry 250 265 with roll. Why try for 20 yards if going into trees. I play to the widest part of the hole...
