There is a work-around for the "rewind to exit CoinOpsX" issue. Go to the controller mapping and manually map the buttons for the controllers. Then the rewind button will work for exiting CoinOpsX.
Thanks. I saw a recent review on this unit from Wagner's tech talk (after I did mine) and he mentioned the controller mapping work-around. I still have to try it out.
@@BillsRetroGamingShow Just to say I have it all set up now with yours, Wagners and PDubs help. I am 55 next month and feel like a teenager again lol. Awesome piece of kit. Love and respect from England UK ❤
some advice for people who have no more HDMI ports left on the tv or have a hard time reaching one in the back. a HDMI switch is a decent solutions. especially is you have a short HDMI cable.
You should review Quoc Lee Batocera image works on dell duo core or any pc works and I was able to connect the AtGames Legends Pro and get two players to work. Much faster than the puck and can run Killer instict.
I have the At Games Gamer Mini and I keep running into an issue where when I reboot after installing Coin Ops X, and then launching coin ops x, it can not find the usb. Hoping that maybe there is a fix for that.
If they only would put the Puck into the Controller-Board, they could easily be the new Pandora's Box Arcade, at least with the Mini Edition at that pricepoint.
Hi, came across your view on the AtGames Legend Pro gamer console today. I just ordered one from GS and waiting for it to deliver next week. Quick question for you if you don't mind. I am a newbie with this console. May I ask if you know it can be play with CoinOps fx or future pinball table on it? Like have pinball tables on USB using CoinOps with USB stick? I did some research and people stated you can use your PC and connect with CoinOps to play it that way. I want to by pass the pc if possible. Thank you again for making this video. Cheer!
Thanks for the comment! I am by no means an expert but I'll try to answer based on what I think you are asking. I don't believe there are any pinball tables on CoinOpsX, I do know people have run pinball FX on these machines and the AtGames Legends Pinball machine. I believe the only way to do this is through hooking up a PC. The reason for this is that there is no native support in the AtGames products for Pinball FX, so you need something that has the software on it (like a PC). They do have the ability to play games off of PC and use this as the controller which is what people do. I would suggest checking out Wagner's Tech Talk (link is in the video description). He has great tutorials on there on how to set up all of these types of things to be usable on this and other atGames products. Just check out the AtGames Legends Pinball guide on his site under "Guides"
I have had this since it first came out and while I still like it occasionally the control deck just will not connect wirelessly to the core!!! Naturally it usually happens when a guest is over and ruins the experience!!!
It's an 8 way joystick. You could probably mod it to add a 4 way restrictor if you wanted but I haven't tried it. As for the raspberry pi - yes you can use this with one. You might be able to get it to connect over Bluetooth (although I've heard it can be tricky). The best way would probably be to plug it directly into your pi through USB and just set it up as the controller for the pi.
To the best of my knowledge, the only AtGames product with a spinner is their full-sized multicade, the AtGames Legends Ultimate. www.atgames.us/collections/arcades/products/legends-ultimate
I just found out about this thing and have been seeing it at $200. To think it was $100 new from retail is crazy! Huge bang for your buck with this at $100.
Love this review. To think there is more than Arcade1up out there.

I finally gave in and ordered one of these after watching your great video Bill lol 😇
Hope you enjoy it!

Hi, Can you use the trackball with the spinner games ( for example tempest) ?

It's external to make it wireless or to plug in another stick in for 4-player, puck is small enough that I don't mind.
Nice job 👍
There is an update that fixes the issue with the rewind button, also the stuttering with some games. Take a look at reddit
I should have kept an eye on my GameStop! It vanished a week ago! Maybe if I got in before it closed I could have gotten some clearance deals...
Can you use it as an aracde stick on PS3 or PS$?
My Core went out after 2 months. It won’t read my usb flash drive, or charge my control panel.

Can it be used with a raspberry pi? And does it have 4 or 8 way joysticks? 8 way is no good for pacman.

Interesting it is "Pro" version, but it does not come with a spinner. What version comes with a spinner?

At $100 this is a STEAL. It was down to $200 last year. Good quality sticks, buttons, and trackball.
in Canada it's $425... Ugh
I picked one up, NIB from facebook for $100
I found one in a pawn shop for $125
