Love this doc!!! Watch in on the weekly/monthly. So sad to see everyone that's passed on. Some sick $200 Mike Schank signed cd's on eBay....considering getting one. Quote the whole doc all the time. It's allriiiight, it's okaaaay, there's something to liveeee forrr, Jesus tooold me sooooo!
What really blows my mind is that mark had so much passion and drive to create something that took probably years to accomplish, and it was difficult enough with getting people on board. But not only that, he was limited to the technology, money and time available to work on his feature film! 🎞️ My burning question is this! Why are more people making independent films 🎥 like Mark Boardchardt? I wanted to make films. But COVID make it impossible to find like minded people to get together to create anything! I wish I could have had a friend like Mark. I would have loved to go make films. I been to film school. Sadly it was full of losers, who were young and have no ambition or passion about old time filmmaking. I don’t know why they were there. Like Mark, I also dropped out of film school because I felt it was a waste of money and never learned anything useful about film. Animation, Composing, Set Design…none of these things they taught me. Just useless garbage. My family never understood my goals. It’s been hard going with my family relationship, so I can relate to Mark. Minus the drinking. I never drink! I need money for upgrades for filmmaking!

I can’t get enough of Mark and his univers. I’d love to someday see the Matthew Weisman tangent that got filmed!
I love that they're still arguing over Mike's Black Sabbath song
I listened to the two songs, and I agree with Mike

I'm an aspiring filmmaker myself but unfortunately I have no money to craft my dreams..
I still love how Mike repeated "votka" about 5 times in that one part.
Great--TY!
RIP Mike
