I came here to find out more about Crow Hill's new instrument, but I stayed to see Christian's wicked expressions everytime he finds a sound he likes. 🤣
The piano sound is incredible but so are those fx and tape processor models! It would be AMAZING to be able to pass audio through this so we could just the fx on whatever audio source!

Fair play to you. Nice concept and design. Also kudos for finally making the vat removable at checkout for foreign vat registered companies which was very frustrating last year 😊
Playing some Bach with this now. Normally I would look at the depth of dynamics and how expressive the instrument is. This just compelled me to crank the compression, turn on the tape and select some vintage equipment. The result is simply extraordinary, so much character and a playing experience that is very different from any other sampled piano I have -- and I have many.
This is a brilliant instrument! There is so much knowledge and experience in it, I am just blown away.

Splendid. And because my Dad was an officer in WWII (8th USAAF...and commanding officer of his unit that built the first arifield just off the beaches in Normandy) and my H.S. jazz and choral teacher was a young G.I. medic in Europe - (10th armoured division and terribly wounded in combat), I am getting this just so I can "hear" what they must have heard at one time or another during those unpleasant episodes in their youth while the world was in chaos around them so much of the time......

Thank you so much for sharing the historical context. My parents were of the WW2 generation. Also a grandfather who was in the navy for both WW1 and 2. I have photos of them in uniform, and stories handed down to the next generation. I had no idea that these pianos were made for this role. Love the sound and was conjuring up all sorts of ideas while you were playing. 🎶🎶🎶

Hands down one of the most inspiring VST's i've played yet. Working on my second alternative album for the band "Postcard Strangers" and this is the exact sound I needed to fill out those remaining spaces. Already spent many hours being inspired to write intimate and awesome piano layers! Thank you

Sounds gorgeous and the fx permutations stand out from anything else I've got. Does the order you turn the fx on determine their layer order in a chain or is this predetermined/moulded?

Would be great to be able run vocals through the FX too. It would be a great way to bring an intro of a song in or outro fro that fact as you the vocals and piano will still sound as one performance.

This is a great instrument! - Just one question, does it have an external audio input so you can use the tape emulation and other effects on other signals (ie without using the piano)?

Tell you what some of these piano sounds reminds me of. 1980s band Japan, and a track called night Porter, reminds me very much of that track.
Do I need yet another piano? No, not really.
Is that going to stop me wanting this and probably getting it? No, not really.
I didn't need to spend $140 (US) for yet another piano but, sadly, I did before I even finished the video. 😫😁
I really like the character and the sound design capabilities of this instrument so it is on my acquisition list. Is it possible to save user presets ?🙏🏿🎶👍🎶🎶

External drive installation is supported.
If external drive access is denied during installation your operating system will automatically change the default. Simply re start your computer and attempt to install again. The audio install location can be selected on the plug in format page.

@@TheCrowHillCo thanks that worked! Ive not had to reinstall before being allowed access to my external drive in an installer, but Mac is quite bizarre with some of its security and access sometimes!

I had to check out Varúð by Sigur Rós and I totally agree with you! It's the same feeling you get when you hear their piano. Fun fact: I had never heard of Sigur Rós before until now. Thanks to your comment, I have bought tickets for their concert in Stockholm in September. For me and my three kids. Thanks! (I also bought String Murmurations in February)

Was very disappointed with teletones golden age for this reason. Massively limits usability.

This really has me baffled. I wish for us hobbists those vsts would be more affordable. I'd love to see peoples reactions on the jam session I visit. When somebody sits down on the midi piano with this, I recon rappers wouldn't be able to hold back and jump at the microphone when they hear the sound of this. I'd love to see peoples reactions and what the evening could bring. Perhaps when I do financially better, but I don't even play the piano, I just give people the opportunity to by bringing the piano to jams. Yet this is so siiiick, I'd love to get my hands on it even just for a few jams.

I am still on 10.14 Mac OS...so not for me...manufacturers keep upgrading, n not considering the amount of investments having to make and to keep you with different versions.

10.15 does have some awesome features, especially if you’re working on logic (at least that’s what I’ve found)
I feel the vibe and character is great but the dynamic range is narrow.
I can tell Christian plays his music quite loud, because none of the the pictures on the walls are straight! 😂

Really appreciate the effort of making a new, wonderful unique piano. Price are in GBP unfortunately, that for us in EU it will be Euro 150 for the intro price and almost Euro 200 for the normal price. A little bit too much for a singe instrument... :/
I understand that it requires a lot of work, a lot of time, etc. But the price for me - for now - is too high. For me, I repeat. It sounds cool, but I would have to win the lottery or my song would be recorded by, for example, Sting. Either way, great job on your part. Take care!

I feel that there is too much enthusiasm here for a standard vst. The promos wore me out.
It's embarrassing every time someone copies others work almost completely like with the tape fx in this. RC-20 and several others. They even call it flux. ADMIT that then it's okey, don't act as if it's unique in your plugin. Then they both act like every feature is "new" when it's been done many times now....
