As a straight guy who crochets, I get a lot of strange looks when I'm crocheting. So I do all my learning on my own with books and youtube. When I finally decided to advance into doing cables and more adventurous stitches, I chose your Celtic Crochet book. It was definitely the decision. In fact, after letting a couple friends try them, they bought their own copies. I can only hope you realize how much these video's help those of us learning new techniques.

Thank you for your encouragement Richard, and for being a promoter of my book! I am so thankful for UA-cam so that folks can learn these fun stitches. Got some new (but very doable) cables coming out in the new book this fall....
      Blessings to you,

Well I've been looking for instructions to do the Brioche honeycomb stitch since I lost a pattern I had when I was 20 which was an awfully long time ago. This is the method I was looking for and Bonnie makes it so easy to remember. I watched the video and then was able to work the repeats without having to watch it while I worked it. Thank you so much, Bonnie.

Hi Bonnie thanks so much for this video. Can you do possibly make a video of this honeycomb stitch in a round. So I can use it for a cowl or a hat. Thank you

I can always add this to the growing list Destiny, but it may be a while! Thanks for the suggestion!

when you do you foundation, do you put it in the 3rd or 4th chain

It really depends on your preference and the pattern instructions. If you want a larger "loop" or gap on the end where the turning chain is located, begin in the 4th chain. If not, begin in the 3rd chain. I often prefer the latter, or using the 3rd chain from hook, which I know is a bit unconventional, but makes for a smoother edge.
