Dude, you’re the man! People like you spreading the Toyota tribal knowledge is why Toyotas will run forever! Happy motoring my friend👊🔧
Best dam channel in my opinion. You’re super humble, always helping others not to mention always positive even when life throws you a curve ball. Keep up the great work. You rock🤘
Tacoma fan, and a working man you’re right my wheelhouse
The fact that we choose to continue fixing these rust buckets 😅 guilty 🙋♀️
Damn dude, that's alot of work for one day 🤟 thanks for the little tutorial on how to put an e-locker in a non e-locker housing. Im going to be doing this on my 93 pickup soon 😁
Good job as usual. Let’s get to 50 thousand subscribers for this guy.
Yeah! Phoenix is the MVP 💪🏾
Watching your videos always makes me want to go work on my 87. Great stuff as always man
Excellent job replacing the rear housing! I'm surprised the body isn't rusted out as bad as the rear diff.
Stay Safe my fellow Canadian!
Save the housing for a leaf spring locker swap.
Nice work, especially tough working in the elements. Yep my side gig has always been wrenching on other’s classic cars.
For those south of us in "The Great White North" our sunset/darkness arrives at 430 pm / sunrise after 800 am
Bummer you got rained on outside, but it's better than snow
"Not warm outside anymore" - yup !!!!
Be lucky if we get into double digits anymore ( 10 C / or 50 F )
Kinda bummed you didn't brace it, I was curious how you went about it. 😉
The mounts where still in good shape. And I didn't want to eat up a bunch of hours.
Awesome video. These videos make me want to become more knowledgeable and able to do a lot of this work for my own future rigs.
Where did you get your vast experience in this stuff? Trial and error? Or did you have any formal experience? What is your origin story?!
Keep up the great content!
My origin story is my Grey toyota pickup 🤣 zero mechanical experience prior, just trial and error, learning from just doing!
@@DirtGarage Most excellent. Let the trials begin!
Just got the One Ton Hoodie. Looks great! Thanks!

Hey question for you I have a 2nd gen Tacoma looking to put Bilstien 5100s but the site I'm buying them from says they're for 3rd gen. Will they fit? I thought the suspension was the same?
I kills me that these 4runners have so many different axle codes. I'm nowhere as skilled as you and had a lot les time and space so I opted to replace the entire assembly on my 2000 limited. I had to search, ship, and pay way to much to get a used one that I could just bolt on.
I was just shocked the brake lines came apart
They actually didn't on the drum side. I put new lines in
what do you charge for jobs like this? do you have a set price, or do you charge by the hour? nice work on that diff swap, curious why you didnt use the plasma cutter to cut out that little section for the elocker?
By the hour usually. And I didn't use plasma because I forgot I had the capability! I've done this elocker retro fit in so many axles at this point I just went with the tools I usually use 🤣
@@DirtGarage hahaha i kinda figured that was the case, just muscle memoried the conversion haha!
So I had this problem, welded them back and then ripped the other end of the mount off the frame… it’s cool sprung.. soooo she’s toast ..
👍👊
Oh I can taste this video haha wire wheeling dusty rusty
