Funny story we are visiting Iloilo and wife wanted to drive to Antique, on way back she says...that looks like Texas guy subdivision...so we drive through and saw your house..😅 We've been on the hunt for property...crazy trying to find stuff, with good price..
I would like to meet Mak Mak, Joel, and Amben...I am hoping to find the same type of honorable men in Bicol when I start my build. I know you're a grown man and don't care what others think but I just wanna say keep doing what you do...carnivore...I am thinking of doing it myself...I look forward to your videos
I knew it...I knew it... you had plans and had to keep them on the down low!!! Now we will see what happens with Mak Mak. He definitely has a great character! This is also why I love watching your channel. You weave a lot of different stories and people in your life, and that always keeps life interesting! Great video James!

It’s come down to this! Assembling Sauder furniture vlogs! 😂😂 Calm down y’all this is how two small Texas boys rib each other, was not a serious comment 😅
I heard they are building a landers in iloilo, I just went to the one in bacolod and it was awesome. Seemed way cleaner and better organized than a sams or costco. Have you heard if they are building one there?
Yes , we just been busy on some other things in our lives and also resourcing what we want. So much low quality cheap product or super high prices on some custom quality work I sourcing what we need.
Mandui Foam is one of my first planned shopping stops next week (if I can find it again.) Nice touch with the adhesive on the furniture (most of us have experienced) those screws & nails coming loose on particle board furniture. How much were the mirrored armours if I may ask? I'm coming back next week. Just sayin
Head straight down Diversion Road like going to the airport going thru Pavia. Just past the Ungaka Bridge and Robinson's Mall on the right hand side. One of the better Mandue Foams in around. Be sure and go upstairs.

@@TexasFilipino thank you so much. Maybe some time you might see a Canadian riding an ebike (JiSu model) going by on either a blue colored one or a white and red colored one. Love my ebikes they go 50klmh.
We had a hollow block home built and now we are near the year mark and the skim coat is cracking. No solid pour available in my province. Do you have any ideas to deal with the cracking or should we just reskim coat. We are still de-bugging the build and we have to get a new water pressure tank
It is the rendering cracking under the skim coat. They mix strong portland with fine sand. The portland heats up too much when its curing causing cracks in it that will forever bleed thru the skim coat. Cast pour is something you would pretty much have to do yourself for a build in this country. They are slow to adapt new things or change. There is however in the commercial industry more and more techniques being implemented. Japanese and Korean Builders coming here heading up some construction that has also seen some wonderful work being done. There is some really damn good Filipino builders also but most all work in the commercial sector. The province builders are still set in one way of doing things. As far as the pressure tank BUY A FIBER TANK - THE END Those so called galvanized or stainless steel tanks sold in this country are a joke and a waste of time. Super thin LOW quality stainless with regular steel pipe fittings welded on it and painted to look like galvanized or stainless. No barbed fittings where rubber hoses have to clamp on. The rust out fast from the mineral and salty waters.
awesome girls room great projects its so nice how u have changed their lives now if u can employ the family and they work hard and do a good job it a win win i bought a 57 hector farm for my wives family they work it with copra and coco durant etc... it is so worth it it was 2000 usd very cheap has a river through it where they swim and spear fish for food everytime i go there they climb tree for me for fruit and cocnut water i love it cant wait to go back dont listen to the haiters u can fix stupid or jealous people
I always find it interesting how in the Philippines, they say the same name twice in a row for things; not just Mak Mak, but like Iloilo, sari sari, ukay ukay, Lapu Lapu,. Bilong Bilong, etc. Any ideas as to why they have that in their culture? Nothing wrong with it at all, just curiosity.
Just to add an interesting observation about Asian languages. It is a common feature of several Asian languages. Words are repeated to show degree. We do the same thing when we say VERY VERY happy as an example. In Thai language, if I’m remembering correctly, Mak means a lot and they say Mak Mak to show a greater degree. Tagalog and many of the dialects of the Philippines shows great influence from many cultures in that region. Why they do that specifically with Nick names I’m not as sure. It is an interesting culture with a broad influence.
