Hi. I have a left lumbar c curve. Do I just do this exercise on my right or can I do this on both sides? I don’t want to make my condition worse by doing this on my left side if I shouldn’t. Thank you for any help u can provide.

That's a great question. I can only give you general advice here. The tensions echo and balance through the system. In my personal practice, I see that relaxing the non-primary-constriction-side is not causing any problem. I want it to also be able to relax. I do focus on places that are most stuck. If a person has a lumbar side bend, there a good chance there is a construction on the other side of the globe, possibly upper ribs on the opposite side.
Try this assessment to see: ua-cam.com/video/EdiCUBpxCew/v-deo.html
Also, the SSSS is good for lumbar side bending, but I have others that may allow you to see the space more clearly

It's usually not just a pure side bend. The construction could be more toward the front or back. There are many diagonal lines of possible construction.
      Also consider exploring these
Front diagonals of the abdomen, ua-cam.com/video/oNboiNo-RiU/v-deo.html
      Low back diagonals ua-cam.com/video/IouK0vIPxwg/v-deo.html
      Internal diagonals

Please let me know what you discover. Thank you for your comment.

Yes, agree mood if affected by how our body feels! and this was a great release in the deep side bend for a tight neck and shoulder actually. Noticed the deeper patterns to tightness of back lower rib area. Good stuff!

The skill to develop is to see the places that don't move amongst those that do. Can you reconnect to the stuck places and give the system a lesson in the whole in a harmony? Gentle, clear lessons that your nervous system can perceive and control make for valuable lessons.
If you want to go further in this direction, consider the my Inner-X movements that address a more complex type of curve that we can get stuck in.

IIt is always a great experience to feel what the exercises have achieved. And I also think it's extremely good that you can work very specifically in the exercises. Whether through the hips, the arm or the head and that it's always about offering the body looseness and suppleness, openness and lightness and being able to create and feel them. Merry Christmas Eric.

Thank you so much for your comment. There is such a range of focus. When I practice, sometimes I just go through the motions for a few minutes. Other times I go in to the most zoomed in detail, looking for the places that don't know how to open. They're hiding.
I have a playlist of the SSSS videos:
*SSSS Variations Scoliosis Movement Playlist* , More powerful, more focused movements for the sides. ua-cam.com/play/PLFLw4vgr7ayiHb9eOocGskmA1gpXp-CAc.html&si=ySq_VMV1rRS_M06M
I am so happy you are finding these valuable rewards in your practice.
Cheers, to more suppleness in 2024!
I wish you a happy new year.

What does Laura Gate's call this movement i think it might work best for me , maybe it's a woman menopausel belly issue ..?

I am not sure what Laura calls it. I just had a simple impression of the movement. I expect her focus is different than my approach to these lines. I do have a playlist with all of my versions of it:
