For live blades, I really like the tanto profile, but for some reason I don't really care for it on trainers; maybe the lack of a bevel just makes it look unfinished to me? 🤷

Honestly, I would love a Bowie version of the v3... Tanto is my favorite shape, but I got so used to seeing the Bowie on the Krake Raken trainer that it just looks natural. Tanto on the live blade is very sexy tho. Idk why.

The old kraken trainer blade isn't a bowie. Bowies have to have a clip point (recurved cutout on the spine near the tip). For instance, the Vulp is a trainer with a bowie profile. I don't like American style "tanto" blades as much but I love real tanto blades like the Tsunami. Yes the Tsunami is actually a tanto shape. Google Japanese tanto
