I picked up a Squiddy B, and I will say I do prefer the original Squiddy purely for the extra smoothness. The Squiddy B feels mushy, which I assume is due to the o rings.

You can take the washers out and flip it alot faster

Interestingly if you buy an og squiddy now, it comes with teflon washers. I wonder how that's gonna work out for in the long run.

I keep going back and forth from getting this version or just getting a Vulp. Not really looking to spend too much money. I really just love the Ultem material. BUT from what I hear, training is still better on metal if you ever plan on getting a live blade. Might be willing to spend a bit more for something like the Squid Industries Mako if it is worth the extra price over the Vulp.

The slide box is way before the naut v2 came out, so its old now, not new anymore

Having tried all of the Squiddies now except for the C, this is the best one you can get in my opinion, and the only one I will keep. But I still would never recommend it as an entry bali unless plastic is all you can have. Then again, we're in the timeline where the vulp just got banned from amazon for no logical reason so who knows what will be easily available anymore. Really seems like somebody didn't like the vulp being successful at that price.
And hey now, that response about using the logo or other pronounced features to tell the bite from the safe was specifically about The Wave in the closed position, since you guys were getting tripped up by the blade shape when it was closed. Not for all balis in all flipping positions lol

That was Ty that took a look at the Wave, but I have personally seen people say to "look at the screws" when flipping a symmetrical plastic balisong like the squiddy. - Ethan

@@BladeBias Ah the only symmetrical balis I've had are the Squiddies so I always just left the rubber indicators on. Not sure if the screws are going to save you in the middle of flipping heat lol

The vulp isn't banned on amazon, i heard sometimes they are short on supply so they don't show it on amazon. I bought one a couple days ago so it's probably in stock again (there were only 2 colors avaible so I guess the supply is short again). Btw i bought it from EU amazon
