Discovered his music at about 4 years old, sitting in an old honky tonk with my daddy where my mom and her band were performing. Someone played it on the jukebox and I was hooked.

Conway twitty has always been one of my all time favorite and I had my first child the day he died. I was so heart broken and that was all I wrote in my baby's baby book that day. We lost a national treasure, Conway Twitty, and I have missed him every day since
Really proud of him, he is young give him time. Conway had years of practice and was totally dedicated, which cost him dearly especially in his married life.
I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news on the radio of conway twitty passing. I was in Centreville VA headed to work. My Aunt loved him so much we played his music at her funeral about 25 years later. I still listen to his music.
Tre is really good, most singers drag the words out to long or to short. I can’t stand that I can’t even listen to them. But, Tre did him proud…R. I. P. Conway. Still after the 30 years almost now that Conway has been gone and he is still the Greatest singer I have ever known. It started when I was a child , I remember my Mama had her rocking chair and her record player sat on the floor and she would listen to Conway and Loretta Lynn , as she rocked her chair would slide across the floor as she rocked and then she would get up and slide it back across the room and start again. So I was raised listening to him and I still after close to 50 years think he is the greatest. He said many times that he wrote songs about what women want to here and I think that is so romantic. He was the best, I am glad Tre is keeping Conway’s memory alive. But, anyone that is a fanknows exactly what I am talking about…
Conway had a wonderful voice my father passed of the same thing that took Conway. Your grandfather would be proud of you. He's not trying to be his grandfather he's being himself.

I opened for Marty Stewart at the 1st annual conway Twitty memoria festival in Shannon, Ms...believe it was 95. I've got photos and video of Marty and Michael Twitty. I believe I saw Tre walking around that day...he was a teenager I believe
I was so happy when I seen Conway in concert back in 1989 Halifax NS Canada 🇨🇦 with George Jones.I went up by the stage to take pictures and forgot to open my lens cover that’s how excited I was to be there. All the pics I took security guard getting annoyed with me.Always loved him
I can't believe it's been that long. I had the privilege of knowing Conway when I was a child. My uncle Blackie w played base for him so they would play music together at my grandparents once in a while and my uncle John Drennon also put together their first band till he had to quit cause his wife wouldn't let him play anymore.
I worked in a Twitty Burger Restaurant in Oklahoma City Conway was a Really down to earth Person, I will always remember how nice he was Great Entertainer😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You sound sooo much like him. And yes I got to set at one of his live Christmas Concerts at Twitty City. He The Rose. With the background all black and one single red rose on it. I lost it and cried for awhile. My mama loved roses. And I saw her that night up in heaven too.
Sounds so much like your granddad. I love it! Mama n Daddy took my friend Michelle Harper n I to see Conway in Rapid City South Dakota in the early 80’s. My first live concert except for Chris LeDoux! My mama loved Conway so much I think my daddy was jealous!
My parents and several other couples had tickets to see his show. They had just bought me tickets for one of many Michael Jacksons' shows which were a bit pricey! One of the people that were going to Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn show couldn't go. I waa 14 at the time so they asked if I'd go rather than waste the extra ticket. Although I was never a country music fan I went. I knew my mom played his songs all the time...her name waa "Linda"...guess what her favorite song was?!!! Anyway when it was time for Conway come out they blacked out the place and he came out and said "Hello Darlin' "....we were on the floor about 3 rows from the front....that entire place erupted with women screaming and to the right in the balcony...front row...a very large lady wearing a dress proceeded to throw her legs up on the rail and squealed "Conway baby, come and get me!!!" Meanwhile her husband(?), a small guy, was trying to pull her back from the rail..she shoved him right into his seat and yelled it again! This time Conway looked over and up and he got an eyefull!!!!....Conway didn't look back that way the rest of the show!!!! I will never forget that!! Then when I was 20 and in college I had a part time job which took me to several hospitals in the area. I arrived at my last stop early and had to wait about 20 minutes on some paperwork. A gentleman came in and sat next to me in the waiting area and he said "hello." We started talking and he asked about where I was attending school and what I was taking. He asked my name and where I was from. He said he was from out of town and he was there bringing his wifes' uncle (I believe he said) to the hospital when they stopped in to see him and found him very ill! I commented he looked very familar and I asked where he was from and what he did...imagine the look on my face when he told me "I'm Conway Twitty..my tour brought me through the area!! I was like "OMG....I know where I've seen you and heard you...my mothers' albums of you...she loves you....errr...your music...could you please give me an autograph for her? He was super sweet and asked what her name was...I told him Linda!! He signed the autograph...."I'm here with Linda on my mind...Love, Conway Twitty!!!! We sat there and talked about 15 minutes of course I told him about the time I saw him and that my parents had seen lots of his shows. He was a really sweet soft spoken guy and was a nice looking man...I think Tre favors him so much! My mother went ballistic when I gave her the autograph and told her about meeting him! She treasured that autograph for the rest of her life and I found it in her chest after she passed away....I still have it! So that's my Conway story...
He sounds somewhat like him in parts of the song, he has a great voice either way. I'd go see him in concert anytime. There will never be another Conway Twitty.
Lady sitting on row in front of me peed all over herself when he said Hello Darlin’! True story. Happened in Fayetteville, NC when Randy Travis opened for Conway. AWESOME SHOW!!!
We were on our way to St.Louis,Mo from Southern Illinois..It came across the radio.I told my husband I was mad at him. Cause ii wanted to see Conway Twitty on stage or one of his concerts
I saw his pappy at the escanaba state fair when I was 8. The judds opened up then Larretta Lynn then Conway my love for country music started at that fair .
i really do want to sing with him one day as i know a l9ot of conways stuff anyway, man how i hate it that the legend is gone, but we all gotta die someday.

Great job young man!
I was so happy when I seen Conway in concert back in 1989 Halifax NS Canada 🇨🇦 with George Jones.I went up by the stage to take pictures and forgot to open my lens cover that’s how excited I was to be there. All the pics I took security guard getting annoyed with me.Always loved him
I love all theses country singers dolly is my favorite
Love his music
Hello Mary how are you doing!!
Great rendition of "It's Only Make Believe" by Conway. I'm 80 and still have loads of his songs, this one being the best of all.
Very good, you did a wonderful Job singing.God Bless you ❤
I can't believe it's been that long. I had the privilege of knowing Conway when I was a child. My uncle Blackie w played base for him so they would play music together at my grandparents once in a while and my uncle John Drennon also put together their first band till he had to quit cause his wife wouldn't let him play anymore.
Hello 😇 how's your day going so far?
I love Conway. He’s my all time favorite singer. It broke my heart when he died. Still can’t listen to his last album.. Final Touches
Seen the show this weekend at Renfro Valley and it was Great 👍
I worked in a Twitty Burger Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Great tribute
Great job you sound like Conway. This is one of my favorite songs.
Hello 😇 how are you doing?
Beautiful song
How long did it take you to come up with that one? Lmao
@@bigsausage9040 It would be about impossible to "cone" up with this story!
@@terrichastain8434 Yes that is the reply anyone could expect you to have. Understandable. Now think of another cool story to tell us.
