I'm so hyped for this. I've loved fan games in the past that let you make Mario levels.
And this has a Super Mario World theme!!! That's my favorite game EVER!
It's ALMOST as if it's FINALLY getting a sequel!
King Cowfish 1) That's more of a prequel, if anything.
2) "Super Mario World 2" as only slapped onto the box/title to make sure it sold/help sales.
King Cowfish I've known about that for years. As great as it is, this is much more versatile AND it's on an actual Nintendo console where loads of people can play it.
Ravioko now all we need is mario 2 dlc...

Can't get enough of these videos. SMM looks so freaking cool. I've been looking for mario editors all over the internet forever but none of them where satisfying. I just can't wait for this.

Can you imagine if Sega made something like this for Sonic games like Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic Heroes, and any other Sonic games out there. Being able to create our own custom action stages!? I think that would be so cool as well!

The castle level is nicely done. I want level objects to fit with the backgrounds and be like a normal games level.

Funny that they don't mention bill like he's important, because he's the translator. But he is very important in that sense.
They were just joking. They probably see Bill around often and are much more familiar with him than with Tezuka and Miyamoto, who were special guests. Also, he's not just a translator but marketing manager too.

They should add a DLC including:cloud world (from NSMBU) ice world,chargin chuck,shy guy,koopalings,blue and yellow koopas (from super Mario world) and friendly enemies (basically they look like the normal enemies but you can't hurt them and they can't hurt you basically to scare players) anyone agree? :)

How can they salvage negative press over Metroid Prime: Federation Force? Add a Metroid pack to Mario Maker. It would take a while but it would be worth it.

Idea for NWC final round or final elimination: Grandmaster Galaxy Perfect Run race. Starting from the title screen, enter 100% file, first person to beat the level.

I'm going to love this game..... But I don't think so yet but I might like it but it's just that I wouldn't be able to make levels very good because in battle block theater I tried making a level and it was impossible for me to get an a ++ so the hard part about the game for me would be making the levels. Oh also are you allowed to play the levels that you ( Nintendo ) made?

I want to see the rest of nwc 4 that was original as you couldn't show the rest please in a video show the original version i think that is the best nwc level.
I'm hoping we will be getting more details or a direct of its own that talks more about the game that was left out like the powerups, can we save the levels of other users onto an sd card, and will they be able to be crossovered, will there be more engines that will be intergraded into Mario Maker like Super Mario Bros 2 or Super Mario Land, or can we use the wiimote to play the level?
Nintendo should make a Mario kart 8 track creator for Wii U.
