Thank you John Marriott for all you do for the conservation of grizzly bears. it takes people like you to preserve the wildlife for bears to be around forever. Thanks again John.👍👍
We all need to care and protect wildlife and nature more and more. We should spread more information about it through social medias not just sharing stupid selfies... Thank you for your amazing work, pictures and videos!
I am already subscribed but hadn't realized that I could set notifications. Thank you for that tip. My favorite photo is of Casper at 7:29. I look forward to seeing more of her in future content. Thank you for all the conservation work that you do John.
This is easily the best youtube channel I have ever found. Insanely clean production quality and very informative; It also helps that I love wildlife photography!
Fantastic video. I love the shot at 2:01-2:04, of Big Momma chillin' in the grass. As of mother of 3 myself, I can relate to how content she is, looking out upon her offspring. I just know she's thinking about, or watching them, even though the cubs aren't in the photo itself.
60% in reduction of wildlife around the world. The US has about 5% of its population that hunts. That’s down 50% in the last 50 years. With such a decline in hunting, some wonder how the cost of conservation will be paid for in the US. I’m obviously a hunter but I am opposed to strictly trophy hunting. If you can’t or don’t eat it don’t shoot it. I’m speaking for remote Alaska when I say some people fish and hunt for substance. A large portion of their food comes from what they harvest. Most hunters care about the wildlife and it’s protection. With all that out of the way I also wanted state that some of the footage in this video was amazing. We live on an island right right next to Admiralty island and dealing with brown bears is just a part of life. They are so interesting to watch. We brought over some bags of compost mixture and caught a big bear tearing into it. I guess it smelled good to him. I enjoyed the video.
John my thanks go out to you and the organization. These bears are one of the most precious animals we have on earth. Between the grizzly and the wolf, you really capture the feeling of wild and free. Again thank you and keep it going with Exposed.
What a great video and so glad to hear the grizzly bear hunting has been stopped in BC. I loved all the shots but I think the one at 5.57 has to bee my most favourite.
Big Momma at 2:48 stole my heart, it would be such an honor to be able to look at her playful nature every day. All the prints are amazing though, thank you so much for your work in this.
5:26, you can see to the left frame a nice salmon leaping from the water! Love your episodes John, keep 'em coming! Can't wait for you to do one on Mountain Lions!
Such an eye opener. Shocking to hear there was only one bear conservation area in all of BC? That is absolutely disgusting to say the least. Thank you for your absolutely incredible videos, and your love and ongoing tenacity to bring vital focus to these animals. Thank you. Our government must wake up and make critical changes in order to sustain our wildlife. Awareness is key! Thank you again.
This was very eye opening and encouraging to see all the progress that has been made so far to protect these beautiful creatures. The shot of Casper at 7:36 just melted my heart.
These are all wonderful images, John & Co. Thank you so very much for the work you do for grizzlies, wolves and all free-living animals and the environment. I LOVE the image of Big Mama @ 2:03 and the Trifecta Grizzly image @ 2:11. Thanks, again!
Count me in John! I love the work you’re doing. My pick is 7:34 or there abouts with Casper and her mama. So adorable. I’d be thrilled to hang it on our wall.
You can be proud of yourself. Too may photographers just limit their work to get nice pics and feed their ego. But you are protecting in an effective way your wonderful models. Congratulations!
Oh man, balancing rocks on your head looks so fun! What a beautiful story, video, and such important work. I definitely love the image at 2:36. Heart breaking but wonderful. Life in an instant.
Thanks for the video, John! It was hard to chose my favourite photo because all of them are outstanding! I have to say 0:10 is the one I hope to win. The moment when that bear is splashing around with that fish is worth freezing into a picture.. a very precious moment. A beauty I want on my wall; as a photograph of a live bear 😃 rather than parts of a dead one 😞. Thanks for fighting for the bc grizzlies, and I really hope more land is left to the bears and wilderness. Let’s all keep the fight up! Thanks for your work... and thanks for the chance to win one of your prints!
Wondering.... what size of lens do you use to photograph the Grizzlies? These are a HUGE beast of an animal... Seen them in Prince George at the landfill sight - These Monsters stand like the Eiffel Tower over top the Monster Truck 4x4 my uncle owned (made the truck look like a Tonka Toy! One swipe of that fellas paw and you'd look like a six pak of pork loin chops in the Butcher shop! I'm hoping the lens would prevent me from becoming a pork chop!
Awesome video! Great photo and thank you for your efforts! New subscriber and I will be watching more of your channel. I've just gotten back into photography after 20 years and want to go and photo bears properly.
So many favorites! I'm so intrigued by that bear playing with the rock! time 2:43 I'm reminiscing about my time with the bears of coastal Katmai a year ago and going over my photos, remembering the unique personalities of each of the bears. They are such wonderful animals! Thanks for sharing your passion for them, and contributing to their protection!
3:34 is the powerful image I would love to have on my wall, if I win. A bear that is graceful, thoughtful, powerful, in repose in its habitat. Love it. Thanks!
As a hobby photographer I enjoy your photography but as a avid hunter I resent your demonstration of hunting. Hunters have a deep respect and love for the animals they hunt.
Hi Orval, thanks for your support! We are not against ethical hunting for sustenance, but we are against hunting for trophy and sport. As a photographer yourself and avid outdoors person, would you not rather return to a favourite spot to photograph the same animal again, and at the same time allow others to do the same rather than take that impressive animal to be displayed in your home? We appreciate hunters respect for the land, but urge you to take home an amazing photo to display rather than the the animal itself.
@@EXPOSEDWildlifeConservancy the animals I take are not only trophies but food for the table that would include bears. Every animal I have ever taken was a trophy even the ones that didnt go on the wall. 2:38 is my favourite when butterballs mom attempted to balance the rock on her head. Moments like this are so rare and special. My favourite image is at :15 (near the start) with mom and the butterballs.
