What is your favorite Castle CMF from this list?
I gotta say, the falconer is pretty good. I really like that it’s obvious she is a part of the black falcon knights! Great series and video, found your channel a couple of weeks ago and have been subbed since. Keep it up!
It’s gotta be the Evil Knight. A fantastic connection point between some classic castle themes !
@@Desaxion appreciate it! Yeah I like that the falconer gets straight to the point!
@@RinglornLoreGuy oh yeah 100 percent!
Probably the tournament knight, it looks great with those colors. Wish I had it!
They just need to straight up bring back castle theme.
💯
I wish LEGO can bring back "Castle/Kingdom" again, but instead of being a lot of knights vs something. I would like to see a Lego Medieval Town.
Sets examples:
1. Castle,
2. Blacksmith,
3. Tavern/Inn,
4. Tailor Shop,
5. Town Center with Street Markers, tree and well, Stables.
6. Fishing Docks with a big and small Boat.
7. Windmill with Crops. villagers.
8. Farming Barn Animals. villagers.
9. A Bank or TAX collector with a Robin hood.
10. Bandit camp.
11. Cottage Home. (I bet alot of people would by to make a big village or town.)
12. Small bridge with a watch tower.
13. A Dragon Cave with treasure and Skelton.
14. Wizard Tower or Shop.
15. Barber shop.
16. A adventure Guild.
This aged beyond well 😂
This is becoming reality, blacksmith, wizards house and town center already came out..
There’s also the series 2 CMF Witch, which I consider part of this group. Witches were a big thing in medieval times, and unlike the usually halloween lego, this one feels less goofy
There is also another witch released on the series 14 Halloween line that goes well with the fantasy theme.
The Centaur Warrior from Series 21 could also fit with the Fantasy era CMFs
Looks like you almost have em all! Aside from the Royal Court… all perfect army builders!!!
Yeah! Been slowing building all of them up! Want to get them all!
And yeah there are some amazing army builders in this wave!
But idk I wouldn’t mind an army of jesters😉😂
Fandamntastic! Not only is the info and production value top notch, but I especially like how you organized this list.
I appreciate it!! I really wanted to talk about all of them because no one else from what I have seen has made a full list!
Honestly the sorting them came into play when I noticed a lot of similarities! Thought it would help people remember them better!
I think the Rococo aristocrat can count too! I know, it's basically from the 18th century, but can be a great part of the royal court.
Nah the dress is all wrong for the time period. She will be talked about in my pirate video when I do that
nice but you forgot the viking from series 20
Maybe he is counting that one among the historical figures because it is more realistic?
He is actually historically accurate, so I will add them to that video when I do it
@@BrickingUpBrad the problem is lots of these could be considered historically accurate
@@henrydegroff4282 You are right, that is a problem, but I think Brad's distinction still makes sense. The original Lego Vikings were a faction who took on a bunch of legendary monsters, even if the minifigs were not in and of themselves mythological. The two vikings mentioned here look like the ones in those sets, but the one in series 20 has a very different design and seems to be meant realistic (regardless of whether he actually is).
@@twell1984 Yes. Thank you I see your reasoning. I guess it was just hard to see this list without some of my favorite CMFs that are similarly "medieval"
The falconer is easily my favourite of these. Don’t know why but the series one forestman doesn’t capture the late 80s forestmen imo
Perfect timing for this video. Im new to castle and i was looking for wich figures there are...
The battle dwarf is very cool and a lot more!
De cmf series 24 i bought a compleet box... and i traded the city figs with someone from work with his medieval figs that he never used because he is a city fan... i got the goblin, the king, jester, forestnimf and so one! Best trade ever!
Really like your story telling about every caracter... thanks for all the work!
No problem glad you enjoyed it! I can’t wait to do deep dives into each one!
Also that trade is definitely an amazing trade! That’s how I started collecting castle is buying up friends lots of castle parts!
We desperately need a new fantasy theme in lego, one that doesn't include giant mechs.
*cough* Ninjago *cough*
Yes!! 100 percent. I was recently looking at Playmobil and a third other teams are fantasy/historical. Like Lego you can’t let playmobil out do you in that😂
Love this video... never considered the Jester before. Def going to buy that now and add it to my collection. I personally think the fortune teller from series 9 could also work with the castle theme. anyway, great content!
Love you videos! So much knowledge and lore that many people don’t even realize! Keep it up, much love!! ❤️❤️
Appreciate it! Got some great stuff in the works for the future!
Looking foward to the historical minifigs
I don’t know when I will be able to get to that one but it should be a good one! So many good figures under it!
seriously love ur content man! I've always had a softspot for the Castle theme and your videos make me super nostalgic and definitely makes me want to get back into it.
Honestly that is one of my goals to show people how awesome Lego castle is! Appreciate the love! 😁
The evil wizard from series 13 is a great castle minifigure too, very nice video ! Huge fan from Brasil.
I miss castle so much
nice! love when you do lore dives and references! I actually have all of these except the battle dwarf and jester which I'm so glad I started grabbing them when I did! keep it coming sir!
Really glad you like it! If you enjoy the lore dives, my next tavern talk is in the works and has to do with the 2008 troll faction!
That's a really good collection though! Wish I would have started collecting them sooner!
@@BrickingUpBrad can’t wait!
Also missed the really nicely detailed viking from series 20.
Literally the best minifigure with most historic accuracy, best prints and accessories, goes for like 20euro now xD
Well I better get working on trying to get the others. Have a few of these but want them all for a castle / woodland scene. I'm going to get the A frame cabin and swap out the figures that come with it for castle related figures!
These would go too well with the creator:falconer and king for the castle and the evil wizard may rally the goblins, evil knight's, orcs, dwarfs and the skeleton included for a siege
True
A neat video! Thank you for sharing.
I’ve been collecting fantasy minifigures since long before CMF Series 1 so am lucky enough to have them all.
My favourite is the male elf from Series 3. I waited many years for an elf and LEGO did not disappoint.
Arguably, the lawn gnome from Series 4 should be included, being neither historical nor associated with a holiday as some of the other CMFs are.
Very cool video. Love it! Keep them coming!
Thank you!!
Nice! But in raider category you forget the viking from 20 series
It is more historically accurate, so that's probably why it wasn't included in this video.
Yeah he is actually historically accurate! So I can will add him to another video!
the orc is actually a reference to the chima crocodile tribe, (see torso and legs)
Ya no, that is false 😅 the torso is just the same colour as are the legs, it’s clearly a reference to fantasy era ( if this was a joke sorry! ),
Fantastic video. Thank you!
Great video, thanks man. Castle is the best 👍
Love this idea!
You're inspiring me to start collecting lego castle lol
YESSS!!! Let’s go! It’s a dangerous road but so much fun!
Awesome video
Cool video I liked this! Subbed!
There are a few more actually like the chester or the elves or more mythical creatures. This is the exact theme I'm collecting and I got almost all of the ones in the video plus some more
Would have been cool if the lion knights castle had a 2nd alternate uniform for the queen like the one in this CMF series
You’ve got me bricked up Brad 😉
Very interesting compilation and breakdown, so cool
Thank you!
Hopefully there's gonna be more Royal Court members.
very nice 🙂
Again I command you on your expertise. Still looking for the new ork myself
Commend*
Thank you so much! Honestly I just enjoy doing the research and making an entertaining video out of it so people can watch that instead of spending hours hunting down the information!
I would very much like to get some of these figs!
I knew I shouldn’t have watched this… now I am going to go buy all the ones I don’t have 😂
Right!!! Think how I feel spending hours looking at all of them while editing and researching!😂😂
@@BrickingUpBrad haha yeah that would be hard
Same
They should make oh crusader mini fig in the CMF
Great list! My favorite from this list has to be the elf. I just have a few questions. What about the Spider Queen from series 14? Also, how do the mythical creatures (centaur, faun, cyclops, etc.) fit in?
Thank you! The elf is definitely a really cool figure! I honestly don’t know about the spider queen from series 14 that whole wave was more just Halloween then anything. If I had to guess she went in the world of monster fighters. The mythical creatures go with all the other Greek/Roman figures that I will do in another video!
@@BrickingUpBrad That makes sense, actually! Thank you for clarifying!
@@Super8Studios no problem! It’s hard because I wish I could make 1 gaint video sorting every cmf into were they belong but it would be super long😂😂 maybe one day. But I like to break them up into separate videos! Doing every space cmf next!
I wish they just made fantasy set bags
What about the CMF moon knight with the trans purple accessories?
Wat about the centaur that was in series 21
Was following you on TikTok, and found out you had a UA-cam channel, had to sub to it right when i found out. Just had to ask, what your favorite castle set released was
Ayy awesome to hear that! Have to say the new 90th anniversary castle is definitely my favorite!
With that outro, I thought youtube skipped to a EDHRec video, lol.
Amazing video and very good idea, Where can i dowland this wood background ?
Thank you! It’s actually a specialized background I had made up just for my videos!
@@BrickingUpBrad omg this background is so cool, a want this ;)
I must disagree that the Classic King is the best ever made. For me, that’s the Kingdoms Lion King, specifically the version that came in King's Castle. I just love the design of both the Figure itself and the Chestplate so, so much.
The rouge is a Wolfpack I think
Yes he is
Where can I read the official "bio" of the minifigures?? I didn't know where is it.. 😅
www.lego.com/en-au/kids/characters/minifigures
Still waiting on that historical cmf video
I did one on all the Roman’s!
@@BrickingUpBrad the roman/Greek one?
@@moncey1120 yep!
@BrickingUpBrad cool, thanks. Also hope you do more tavern talks, I was never into castle as a kid but am now so I missed out on a lot of the pre-modern castle stuff
@@moncey1120 my hope is to keep going with them till I finish every theme and faction! But also trying some other content!
I have found THE lego channel for me !
Let’s goooo!!!! Welcome to best side of the Lego community! 🏰
@@BrickingUpBrad thank you!
And the new French queen that pink
Bros teeth gap is as noticeable as mine
hello, I would have also entered the barbarian warrior. do you agree?
I consider him more historical personally
My Skeletons need some loveeee
Imagine you buy a pack for 4 bucks and there is a 1 dollar skeleton inside not fun
@@FrontierTheory That's why I want a skeleton worthy of a CMF pack. Minifig body with skeleton head, armor, maybe a unique back piece etc.
I would personally like a skeleton battle pack or a cmf with 3 or 4 skeletons in it
You forgot the centaur minifig from series 21
That minifig fits more into Mythical Creatures catagory then Castle like the Faun, Minotaur and Medusa
Can you do a every space CMF????😅
Already Did. Doesn’t include the newer ones though!
@@BrickingUpBrad oooh!!!! Did you have link???
What about the myths like the cyclops from series 9, Medusa from 10, and the Minotaur, but otherwise I liked the video : )
There is so much stuff that’s Greek mythology I thought I would do a video on just those!
@@BrickingUpBrad cool
My favorite 2:30
Best king? he dont look like the leader of the royal knights...
Hi
I would add the gipsy girl
She would probably fall under historical
