From an original lifetime Floridian (Born in Naples) , it's lots of fun watching you put your skills to work ! Keep on putting out those good videos that we enjoy . Nothing tastes good as fresh Florida fish n Cole slaw w/some baked beans on the side .
Hey Rich, I'm a fisherman from cape cod ,I really enjoy your videos, they help me get thru the long winters! Thanks and keep up the great work 👍. Brian Macort.
Andrew Scott Come to S. Texas. My PB is 9.5 lbs. Trout over 10 are caught every year in Baffin Bay and the Laguna Madre. But although those two places are known for their giant gators, the current world record was caught somewhere in Florida.
I haven’t even gotten half way through the vid and I gotta say your experience has grown incredibly well love this channel 3 years and going that was a beautiful trout also congrats brotha
Washington state here. I really enjoy your videos. Others fishing shows are so over the top loud and greedy. I really want to see and fish the southern waters now. You should try steelhead fishing up here - just so you can get a standing in the freezing drizzle next to a freezing river experience !
Thanks a lot for sharing wounderful fishing moments with me :-) I could not believe my eyes when I looked closer to that fish you called gator trout and realised it was what we call Öring in Sweden. So lovely to see that they seem to be a lot more common in your parts nowadays than my part of the world. I have never fished öring/trout in the ocean only the ones that decides to stay in the rivers and live there and a trout that size you got and called gator trout would really seem like a real gator in comparement due to growing in very fast water :-) I think I would have had something like a one hour fight with it :-) Sorry for my spelling and so, hope you understand :-)
So funny... I'm from Jax... and I hadn't seen your tags yet, but from the water clarity to the size of those trout I thought, "I wonder if he's in Jax?" Yup... Next time you're here, fish the Guana Tolomato reserve downstream of the dam (especially if the water is flowing)... Got me a 30" trout on a little paddeltail like that. Nice gator tho! As a fellow northerner, I'm sure you'd be pumped to hear we've got stripers here downtown in the St. John's... It's real tricky getting to them with the current and the water temps needing to be just right... If you're ever in the area... let's get the yaks out!
Man I appreciate your videos . You are so very informative, I am glad u came across your channel ! Now I can go fish some spots in Jacksonville and actually have the chance of catching.. Thanks again man ..🎣🎣🎣
Any chance you would do a video fishing the waters around Cumberland Island? Morning surf fishing is pretty amazing there - pretty well kept secret :-) and dadgum that's a monster seatrout!
I’ve not done much fishing but the few times I’ve been fishing the people I want with always told me reel it in slow , that first fish he was skimming across the water 😂
Stumbled across your video from watching other fishing videos! Glad to see your local and made sure I've subscribed as well and so awesome that you got a slammer!
I’ve been fishing out here every day me and my buddy and I’ve caught ladyfish, trout, and I’ve been slaying all the red fish, i’m originally from South Florida I have to go back and get a snook, because here in Jacksonville I guess there are not too many.
great show's bro want to thank you for not screaming or yelling cussing or danceing and by the way you want big trout come down my way the grant sebastian area
This video hurts my soul, I drove exactly where you are this week because I was in Jacksonville the Rockville festival that was going on but the weather was brutal :(
Yeah it is so far and tbh honest I dropped the whole setup off the Kayak in st Augustine and pulled it out quick rinsed it off and it’s still working fine haha 🤞🏻
Thanks, Best place to stay is in your truck if your trying to save money and be closer to the action haha but I’ve heard good things about Colloden House and Haven for the price and being near the water. But south side would be my focus from the sand beaches all the way to the light and small profiles.
Hey man, sure thing. This is the 60lb Bogo Grip I have which is IGFA certified amzn.to/3KfVF6x it is expensive but will last your whole life!! As long as you don't lose it haha. Here is the link for the 15lb Boga Grip amzn.to/3MebiNr and here is the link for the 30lb Boga Grip amzn.to/3Kb1fqB Hope this helps. They are worth every penny and I don't work with the company in any way I'm just a big fan of their products. I've tried other fish grippers and they looked the same and were a fraction of the price but only last a couple years. Tight Lines!!
the alright i think they fit the price and won't last as long as the shield or evict. If your looking for a nice inshore salt possibly freshwater reel that can do a little bit of both the guard is probably perfect. If your looking for something for just salt because your a little more into it then I would get the shield, evict, or saltX
