Hi Danni. I love your videos. I am not a reseller, nor do I thrift. At my age I do not need a thing. But I like who you are as a person so I enjoy viewing.
I no longer need anything really. I've been downsizing these last years, getting rid of books and decorative items that do not fit on shelves in my room. It's getting there! Makes quite a difference, to do this. Most all is given away, I have no interest in selling any of it.
What I really dislike tremendously about the Goodwill, is the some of the employee's lack of care when handling breakable items, bagging ceramic items all together in a plastic bag,...it's really disrespectful to the person who made the donation, and disrespectful to the Buyers. I've seen so many fresh breaks, and one employee even laughed about it,...some of them just don't care. Yesterday, I found a soft leather jacket with a mink collar, and an employee put the plastic tag right through the leather, and ruined a perfectly gorgeous and expensive designer leather jacket. I don't do well selling clothing, so I passed on it,.... the hole in the leather can be repaired, but just the stupidity of damaging a beautiful piece of clothing really bugged me! Enjoy your videos, thank you! 😊
The employees at Goodwill are people with mental or physical disabilities. Awkward or unsocial it's because they're dealing with their mental disabilities. Goodwill is a place where they have a job able to have self-worth.
This newbie loves your channel. I watch many resellers and some appear to always find high end dresses or hard goods. Makes newbies feel inadequate. Appreciate your bread and butter shopping although you do get lucky sometimes.😉🦋
Thank you so much for the encouragement. I've been reselling part time on ebay for 9 months and sold a handful of treasures. I needed those kind words!
A muggle is something from Harry Potter: A non-magical person. Bangtan Boys are BTS, a Korean Pop music group. You may have seen references in the news to Jungkook; he has been on Good Morning America. They are immensely popular in South Korea, but they are gaining popularity all over the world. I happen to be a fan.
I'm really enjoying the music you are adding to cover up noise and when you speed up what you're doing to get done faster. If Noah is choosing the music, he's doing a great job! As for the jigsaw puzzles, I think think the subject of the puzzle is a big factor in people buying it.
Hello there! I love your Channel so much. I've been watching resellers for awhile, but you are the only one who is trying to convince me I can supplement my income. Idk why I'm so scared. I wish I could shadow you for a week. I'm not real tech savvy so I think that's what scares me. You are so fun and awesome to watch! ❤
I started reselling by sheer luck. Bought out the remaining inventory of a store that was closing for 1 cent on the dollar, $74 for $7,400. Didn't have a clue how to sell but learned by trial and error. The inventory sold fast and I was hooked. I continued on by buying from various retail stores, marking up and reselling. Today, many of the stores no longer exist. I took a break (several years) but I'm ready to jump back in. Once it gets in your blood, reselling is addictive!!
I'm really digging the ideas you're coming up with. Fresh and new concepts for videos help keep me interested because my short attention span thrives on change. Not all Goodwills are doing the one dollar items like this. It would be nice if they did. Great video. I'm looking forward to the next one as long as I don't run out of minutes on this phone.
This was fun. I had to laugh when the vacuum tester was so close to the start of this video. It will be interesting to see what you put inside those tins. Have a great day! 💞💕💞
That's a Pennsylvania Dutch Hex Sign. They were very popular in the 60's - 70's. I had that exact same hex sign for many years. Each one has a meaning. I believe I bought that one when my husband and I were first married.
Danni I just love 💗 your videos and your voice! You have a great presence on screen, and you’re a very talented teacher too! I’ve been thinking of reselling, and I’m almost ready to do that! Thanks so very much for sharing your knowledge and spirit with us! I’ve learned a bunch from you 🎉
many years ago we redid our kitchen. my dishes were stored in a drawer next to the dishwasher. the dishes were round. when my husband had several strokes, the dishes were heavier and harder for him to use. we bought corelle which is very light and we got square plates that fit the drawers better. i do like square plates.
Danni, Ive been watching all your videos and learning so much about items. Recently I went to my first antique mall. What a time I had there, it was their once a month sale day where a lot of the vendors put up signs anywhere from 20-75% off items in their booth. I think I shopped it like you would, watching your videos has taught me so much. I collect Belleke and Annalee figures. One booth had a 75% off sign and the woman whose space it was happened to be there with her husband, at the time I did not know it was her booth I thought they were just looking at things. There were about 14 pieces of Belleke that I had put in my basket as well as older Annalee figures. I commented to the couple that I wondered if purchasing so many items from just one vendor, if the booth owner would give a bigger discount then I laughed and said to the couple that whoever was the owner of the booth was giving away the items in my basket at the 75% off and I felt like I was stealing the items at such a discount. There were 3 beautiful Belleke vases that I looked at and put back due to my budget. They asked why I had left them as I had every other piece of the Belleke in my basket and I told them that I have to keep a really tight budget as I am on disability and always tuck a few dollars away each month to be able to do something nice for myself or someone else once in a while. The husband said that I was a very thoughtful person and that I made him want to do something nice for someone today. After paying for the items I bought and getting everything wrapped and bagged I noticed the couple from the booth going through another checkout. We all left the store at the same time and after putting my bags in the car the couple walked up to me and handed me the bag they were carrying and said that it was a gift they wanted me to have, I tried handing the bag back and they wouldn't take it and the husband said he was just doing something nice for someone and told me to look in the bag. I looked in the bag and took out one of the items to see what it was and to my surprise it was one of the Belleke vases. They told me that it was their booth I had been shopping at and they wanted me to have the 3 vases. I actually stood there and cried as I was thanking them. I hated leaving the vases behind because I absolutely loved them and I was now bringing them home. They weren't purchasing items at the check-out they just wanted to wrap the vases and get a bag to put them in.
Loved the topic of this video. Thank you gor your time and advice. I think my biggest hang up in starting to resell on eBay would be my lack of items sold. As a buyer, I shy away from a seller that has low items sold, low feedback, etc. I think "who would want to buy from a newbie?" Then I chicken out.
I wish our area in NY did sales like this at Goodwill. They usually have discounts for teachers or military, but not color tag sales, or these dollar sales. :-(
Hi, first I like square plates. Also that tong item is for pick up pasta right out of the pot or colander and drain a bit of extra water before placing on the dish!
Thank you for another great video, Danni! I still feel like a newby, reselling for a couple of years now as a part time gig. I get lucky occasionally with finding a high price item, but most of what I sell is bread and butter. I’ve been a bit discouraged lately, but trying to stay thankful that my sales have picked up some. I really appreciate all you said in this video to encourage us to keep at it. It can be a bit disheartening to net $7-$15 on most things. But at least I’m not loosing money, and I’m learning through it all. I love your videos! They are my treat for after I’ve listed. 😅
Hi Danni, I have a question, that divided ceramic serving tray by Red Berry was purple tagged for $1.00 and your value shown was $65.00 have you ever gone back to purchase something after seeing its value or sold comps on eBay and then sell it? Would it be worth your time and energy? Just wondering. Love your videos.
A Muggle is a non magical person from The Harry Potter movies. Some really cute stuff the Willow Tree Angel with a cat is really cute, great finds. Thank you❤❤
I love that Betsy Johnson purse you just picked up. I would love that purse, I’m going to have to look on your shop to see how much you’re selling it for.
Well went to the Goodwill this morning and some guy was testing out a vacuum cleaner. Not only was it not really running well he thought banging it repeatedly on the floor would help it to run better. Oh ya and yelling at it in Spanish. Ugh why do people do this stupid stuff. Another day in paradise. 🐢
I was at the $ store today. Our store is getting a total makeover, everything is going to be moved, etc. After the team leaves, evidently there will also be items for $3 & $5.
Love, love, love your educational videos! So inspirational! You kind of gave me a little pull in this direction, as I know I have to retire someday, I am already past retirement age. Oh, how do we find your page on Ebay?
I started at our village weekly tables do I sold my crochet items for all year.I made some money then I sold name brand hand bags/ wallets on fb/ marketplace, thred-up. Unfortunately Ive have severe family problem so now I’m not able to do many things in thrifting & stuff. I do miss it though.
Little doves - a hex sign. They all have different meanings, some are protective, some for luck. I live in Amish farmland so we see them all over :-) That one was super cute
I like the $1 challenge, but not all Goodwills have the 1/2 off color or the $1 clearance price anymore. Our region in Ohio has stopped that.😢 it makes it harder to find items at a lower cost.
Go-Pros? They are great cameras for a certain type of video shooting...like capturing a lot of action...sports, biking and the like. but not really for reseller vids and indoor filming of just about anything. They're really not designed for that. I had one for a short while when I was doing some crafting vids (some years back) and I ended up selling mine. People will make them work for "whatever," but I think using your phone is way better than a Go-Pro. I think some people get a thing called a "gimbal?" for holding their camera so they can be hands-free while filming...but I don't know much about them.
I love puzzles. I only work them once because I mod podge them into pictures. But I'm a bargain hunter when it comes to anything, so I wouldn't buy them online.
Ha, How's thing's going ? I didn't know you have No store anymore. I'm Praying for You always 🙏 Sorry, My Health takes up to much of my time. I was draw away from you since the store. Hugs, to You and the Family. ❤
You are so uplifting and positive and I love your videos!!!
Thank you so much!!
Hi Danni. I love your videos. I am not a reseller, nor do I thrift. At my age I do not need a thing. But I like who you are as a person so I enjoy viewing.
I agree, and at 83 years old, I don’t need anything either, but I sure enjoy going “shop” with Dani.
Totally agree I’m almost 63. I get so excited when she finds something really worth a lot
Me too. I'm 70 and I really like Danni. I like her hands and arms too! Ha!
I no longer need anything really. I've been downsizing these last years, getting rid of books and decorative items that do not fit on shelves in my room. It's getting there! Makes quite a difference, to do this. Most all is given away, I have no interest in selling any of it.
Your enthusiasm shines through every time its fun to watch and easy to see how much you love your job. ❤
Start by selling stuff around your house, you’d be surprised what you have. Then reinvest.
This is what I do , just bits I don’t use or have stored away.
@@deborahalix3977 Great idea!! 💯💕
Always watch your videos. I learned so much.

You are a very good teacher. No doubt this video inspired many a beginner thrifter. Thanks, Danni!
God gives each of us special gifts. It’s awesome to watch you tirelessly share yours.

Having so much fun catching up!
Don’t let the armchair critics get you down. I think your show AND your purchases are awesome!
A muggle is something from Harry Potter: A non-magical person. Bangtan Boys are BTS, a Korean Pop music group. You may have seen references in the news to Jungkook; he has been on Good Morning America. They are immensely popular in South Korea, but they are gaining popularity all over the world. I have learned so much from you and this video probably the best. I drove through Vegas the other day and I wondered what thrift store you were at!!
Thank you for your generosity for sharing your knowledge and passion!
Those Femmes de Seicle plates with the awesome ladies on them - I sell those every time I find them! They're pretty popular :)
I really enjoyed this different video where you show people what they can find to re-sell.
I'm really enjoying the music you are adding to cover up noise and when you speed up what you're doing to get done faster. If Noah is choosing the music, he's doing a great job! As for the jigsaw puzzles, I think think the subject of the puzzle is a big factor in people buying it.
i love jigsaw puzzles. as a kid we often had one in the works on the sunporch. would stop and work a few pieces during the day.
I’ve always loved doing puzzles but it became very popular during Covid. I will only buy 1000 piece puzzles; anything less isn’t challenging.
Hello there! I love your Channel so much. I've been watching resellers for awhile, but you are the only one who is trying to convince me I can supplement my income. Idk why I'm so scared. My mom said the same thing, she couldn't do it because she was not tech savvy! But she did! You can do it!
Thank you for your knowledge. Love your channel

Love square plates and triangular bowls for eating out of
Sorry for being silent, just not good saying comments,or putting words together, just want to say you are great teacher, and I've learned alot from you😊
Danni you’re a true inspiration and because of you, Play the Planet is celebrating our 2 year anniversary on eBay. I’ve learned so much from you.
Oh thank you and that makes me really happy!
This was fun. I had to laugh when the vacuum tester was so close to the start of this video. It will be interesting to see what you put inside those tins. Have a great day! 💞💕💞
I love and appreciate your ability to help newbies!!
🌷🌷🌷thank you Danni, i really appreciate you for all that you are doing ...♥
I love a square plate and I really liked those you were just looking at, they were so pretty
I like square plates and bowls too
Still always love your channel! Be extra careful with “really heavy brass” as it is often a base metal with a brass plating.
That's a Pennsylvania Dutch Hex Sign. They were very popular in the 60's - 70's. I had that exact same hex sign for many years. Each one has a meaning. I believe I bought that one when my husband and I were first married.

Hi Danni, thank you so much for sharing your tips ! Very helpful for a new reseller! Can’t wait to see more videos! Have a great day😊
Danni I just love 💗 your videos and your voice! You have a great presence on screen, and you’re a very talented teacher too! I’ve been thinking of reselling, and I’m almost ready to do that! Thanks so very much for sharing your knowledge and spirit with us! I’ve learned a bunch from you 🎉
I’m enjoying the challenge! Keep them coming
At 27:00, Pennsylvania Dutch hex sign. The put them on barns often to keep bad luck away.
I think the design on the hex sign is called a “Double Distelfink.,” meaning thistle finch or goldfinch. It represents good luck.
I also Love quilts of any size. If you ever find any for $1, definitely pick them up and I can mend any small imperfections it may or may not have. 😮

That was a great shop and lots of good information thanks for another fantastic experience 🎉🎉

No I'm ok leaving them for someone else!
Great haul!!
A Muggle is a non magical person from The Harry Potter movies. Some really cute stuff the Willow Tree Angel with a cat is really cute, great finds. Thank you❤❤
Tongs probably for getting pasta out of boiling water, would drain but still keep noodles from slipping back into pot.
I love this video objective! Perfect score ideas
Thanks for your time and video!!
Nice finds!
Showing that looking for low tags is takes a lil time, but can be done 😊
Thank you for the encouragement! I really needed it today!
I love that Betsy Johnson purse you just picked up. I would love that purse, I’m going to have to look on your shop to see how much you’re selling it for.
Thanks for taking us along on your thrifting! Thanks for sharing!
Wow for the frog vase, globe, throw , pillow, BJ purse and other items. Great idea about the tins.

I'm sure a zillion people have answered already, BUT...Muggles are 'normal' people, according to the Harry Potter universe. We are the muggles! LOL
Love the music ❤
Same! Very relaxing !! 🤗♥️
I was at the $ store today. Our store is getting a total makeover, everything is going to be moved, etc. After the team leaves, evidently there will also be items for $3 & $5.
You’re the best Danni
I love your sweet spirit ... really enjoying your thrifting adventures . Thank you for sharing the fun .
Love, love, love your educational videos! So inspirational! You kind of gave me a little pull in this direction, as I know I have to retire someday, I am already past retirement age. Oh, how do we find your page on Ebay?
Thanks Danni! I love your videos!
I’m glad my GoodWills and Salvation Army do not do baggies. Things just get chipped and broken.
Thank you for your videos! I enjoy the info!!
If you see something worth to sell and you did not pick it up do you go back and see if it is still there? Like the red berry item.

Same here in Central Indiana.
That's a bummer!
Haha…”see you at the bins honey.” Omg Danni that was too funny I literally laughed out loud. 😂😂😂😂
White mountain puzzles still sell on marketplace and eBay

Danni......that circle thing you were wondering about is called "a Hex sign"
Great finds Dani my favorite was the purse 😀🇨🇦
Hi Danni, if you come across some pretty crosses would you pick them up? My daughter in law collects them.
I can’t believe the prices on the common glass relish trays that I would of priced 1.50$ when I was a pricer! It’s crazy!
I love square plates!
I LOVE square plates too!
You can also list with your cell phone if you don’t have a computer
I love puzzles. I only work them once because I mod podge them into pictures.
But I'm a bargain hunter when it comes to anything, so I wouldn't buy them online.
Hi, love your videos! What listing service do you use?
I love square plates also!
How do you know Soapstone when you see it and even see it and hadn't touched it yet.
I love the Betsey Johnson purse ❤
I
Love this
Sweet score ,,, thank you for window shopping ,,,,injoy your day
A muggle is an aspiring wizard with no blood line from other wizards. It's in Harry Potter.
If you're a crafter and make Barbie clothes or doll clothes for nieces those pillow shams make quiet a few outfits
I have tons of great treasures collected over the years. I just have to push myself to start selling.
I love this video and a great advice. I also love your music going. Again thank you 👍👍
Wish our Goodwills had the same type of deals your Goodwills have. No $1.00 sales. Senior discount only 10% here in Orange County California. 😞
Awesome video!! Thank you for your wonderful teaching and kind words of encouragement!!
Thanks.for.you❤🎉😊
The mushroom can be a raindrum?
