I'm in a wheelchair when I go out. The other day, this young mom was shopping with her three young children. She spoke to them in hushed tones... then, each one of them said, "Excuse me" as they passed by my chair. It just warmed my heart to see these youngsters being taught good manners. It really brightened my day.
Me too. Sometimes a young child opens a store door for me. I smile at them and remark on their good manners.
My kids and my grandkids both have excellent manners and get the surprised comments! Then, when they get home we wonder where those nice-mannered kids went!!! LOL!
I've always said you can be the Poorest kid in the street but with good manners your richer than any money can bring

My husband and I are both artists.....he is 93. This spring a local woman and advocate for artists saw his watercolors and has facilitated three showings of his paintings. As of today he has sold 7 of the 20 paintings in the shows. I am so happy for him to have his talent recognized. This is just one of my good things.

I’m a 67 year old disabled woman who always loved antique stores, flea markets, thrift stores and going to the Goodwill. I don’t get the opportunity to do that often anymore. I’m not a reseller, but being able to go shopping with you and actually buy some of the wonderful things you find just makes my day!!

Hi Dani!!❤️ Five years ago my 12 year old grandson was placed with me by children’s services. I prayed for it, the abuse was horrendous. My daughter passed away when he was 4 and was living with his father and other grandmother but I fought for this boy. He will be 18 in August and raising a teenager in my mid 60’s in this world today is no joke. I love it and he is my hero!! It has taught me what I’m made of…love, strength, patience and determination GIRL POWER💪

Hi Danni, it seems like almost everyone is going through something hard right now. I have spent the last 4 years taking care of my terminally ill son, and so many times your videos have given me a chance to get out and see amazing things as I have been able to do it vicariously through you! I love you and your family and I really appreciate the smart, savvy, kind, and generous woman that you are. You are a wonderful example for women everywhere of success that has come through working hard and being creative. You are a true treasure!
My oldest daughter is adopted. The one thing her birth mother asked of me and my husband was that she graduated high school. No one in her family had. She’s 17 and will be graduating in 2 weeks and starts dental school in July. Such a simple thing, but for her birth mother it was such an accomplishment. I just told my husband we’re almost there.

Danni, I want to say that finding your channel was a WONDERFUL thing that has happened in my life. I lost my mother who I was caregiver for over 8 years. The night she passed, my husband told me he did not love me, and never had. If it was not for Jesus Christ holding me through the pain of the last year, and finding channels like yours, I can say 100% I would not have made it. So you just leave the haters to their own devices, and keep on spreading love and forgiveness, and it WILL come back to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over!! Luke 6:38. Wonderful thing that happened to me today.. my rent is due. I’ve been out of work for months so personal reasons. I was stressed and wasn’t sure what I was gonna do. Went to the cabinet to make my son some spaghettos and I found $500 that I had been hiding from myself inside an empty can. God is good! I had completely forgotten about it. Now the rest of my rent will be paid and I have money left over. 🎉

Something special happened at my house today! My son came over early and started by cleaning out my gutters, pressure washed and cleaned roof, moved on to pressure washing my house, cleaned my windows, and then pressure washed my patio! Who says I raised my son to do good deeds❤️
I’m a very positive person. I NEVER complain about the weather, wind, cold, heat or whatever. I’m grateful for each day God gives me. I have an awesome job working at a thrift store. This might sound silly, but I find joy in helping my sister with her tropical shaved ice truck. Like you said, there is a lot of negativity out in the world today. When I hand out our creative and colorful treats to kids (or even someone that is having a rough day), the smiles just feed my inner child. ❤😊

My autistic grandson found more Easter eggs than anyone else at the Easter egg hunt. He was so happy. We were so happy for him.
I went through a tornado last Wednesday. I didn’t lose my house but I lost six large trees. My back yard was a disaster area. My whole community was effected very badly. Through this tragedy in my town people came together and traveled here to restore our power and clear roads, debris etc. I have to say seeing those linemen working day and night for a week now has been very humbling. Many thanks to those men coming here working 16 hours a day so our community could have power again. Thank you

My dad beat his odds of dying in the hospital this past 3 weeks from a mild heart attack caused from clogged arteries and finding out he has an autoimmune disease called Myaseenthis Gravis that could have crippled him. He is 87 and getting better slowly day by day and is at home and I go over everyday to make sure he has what he needs or to help. He's blessed to still be here. ❤ I'm thankful to still have both my parents, my mom is 81.

something that recently brought joy to my heart is when my 18 month granddaughter named Maisy (sounds like daisy) pointed to herself and says mamaws May May 😊 I said yes baby girl you are my May May. It was her first time trying to say her name. Also watching my 9.5 month old granddaughter walking behind her walker via video call from sw Florida.

I started my eBay store about 2 years ago because of you. I told you my story about being a recovering drug addict and you reviewed my store out of the kindness of your heart. Bad behaviour and bullying has always been around - but you are right, social media has exacerbated this. However, please do remember that most people - nearly ALL in my opinion, are really nice. As for something positive - My grandson and I were building something the other day and he - at 2yrs 10months - said "Well done Granny, good job" It was adorable and made my day

I can't think of any one thing that was truly nice that happened today. However, I do have one happy thing: I am currently crafting in my basement craft room that my husband set up for me. Every day I am more grateful & thankful that I found him, than I was the day before. He is truly supportive of my crafting, and my interest in starting to resell. I used to go around to thrift stores with my Mom, and then go with her to flea markets where she sold the stuff she found. It brings fond memories of her to start doing the same. I always watch to the very end of your videos because I love watching them so much! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, and your self, with us. ❤

I am 65, over the years I lost 3 of my best friends, including one close friend from the last 60 years or so. She had ALS and it’s devastating, as if I lost my sister! We have been fortunate to be able to put in new flooring in our home after about 8 years without any floors in most of our rooms. I’m so happy I can’t stop mopping them! Lol. Danni, you are the 1st person I started watching about reselling & though I have found a few more people to follow...you have still remained my favorite. If I'm watching something else & you pop on, I will leave that video to watch yours & then go back & finish the other. I'm always waiting for your video! 😊 I love the positivity that you give, the tips, the pep talks....I just love you as a person! I think I have mentioned before that we have experienced a lot of the same things throughout our lives, so I'm sure that makes it easier for me to connect with you. My good news is that I finally got my port removed & I'm able to plan a 2 week trip around Mothers day for a family reunion. I will finally get to see my kids & granddaughters that I haven't been able to see since 2019. I am so excited! Its been so hard to go this long.

Danni the good thing that I did today, I went and got my hair highlighted, and had my fingernails did. I no for most people that's just another simple day but for me being Disabled with MS, chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia, was alot. But by the Beautiful Grace of God I was able to do it and am very happy. Keep your head up Girl. Most people couldn't handle half what you do...

I never pay much attention to the comments section on UA-cam let alone leave my own, I am making an exception to that today. I truly needed to let you know that I appreciate you. My life has taken an unexpected change that is beyond challenging, it is quite possibly what will shorten my time here. I found you by accident one day while just browsing, I once was quite successful in supporting my four children after divorce as a reseller when eBay was brand new and I did it for years. Watching your videos not only brings back those happy times but I also have learned more from you than any other in the resell biz. Those reasons alone would have me faithfully watching but then add to that Noah and Jordan give me faith that our younger generation can be loving, responsible, good and kind. And as we don't really get to see Rachel just getting to hear her voice especially when discussing your critters always puts a smile on my face. I am grateful that I found your channel.

This year, I want to use the ideas I have gleaned from you three ladies to shop for vintage and studio pottery mugs to use for the flower arrangements. The sun came out in Green Bay today! My yard helper stopped by. We were able to work outside in my yard cleaning up part of my flower garden for 2 hours this morning. While this is always a taxing task, I love to wake up the plants in the spring. I fuss over them as if they were my babies and watch them grow into lovely plants that grace my landscape all summer long.
I am so blessed to be able to grow flowers, especially hostas, and 🌷.
Since I am retired now, you can find me in my garden by 6 a.m. many days. It is such a ❤ since I removed most of the grass to add more plants. I only need a path of grass around the edge of my garden I have decided 🥴.

Yes, I have something positive to say!!! My small community including the wider community was affected by Cyclone Gabrielle here in New Zealand, Hawkes Bay. About 4-5am we were engulfed by a river that overflowed the non-existent stop bank surrounding the north-west side of our small community and became a raging torrent river flooding out our community. Causing our golf links to become a lake and the roadway became a torrent river flowing down past our home engulfing all the neighbors brand new homes up to their window sills and some of them having to stand up on dining room tables, some climbing up onto their roofs, some children crying out for mum or dad having to swim for the first time in their lives, some being picked up by high carrying tip trucks, later being removed by Army trucks to dryer safety areas and being housed by very kind and loving people who could not image what we had just come from but could only watch it all on t.v. with helicopters flying everywhere trying to rescue people stranded. The positivity of all this was how it brought the various communities together and the non-affected areas pulling together food supplies, clothing, toiletries, beddings, I mean it was like heaven had opened up it's doors and dropped all these goodies upon us who were rescued. It was amazing but also terrifying of the drama that had just happened. It takes a long time to come back to reality and trying to give thanks to all who took part in this journey with us and to be able to show our appreciation but not knowing exactly who to thank individually but to give thanks to our Great Creator Source the Almighty God for being there for us and continues to be there always. But it opens up our hearts to do likewise to others, complete strangers. Whereas, Covid took away our ability to be close to our neighbors but this Cyclone brought us back together as one people under God. I pray that this will continue to be so but we know there is a great separation going on or a sword of division taking place worldwide "separating the wheat from the chaff" or the "believers from the non-believers". We need to become one people under the guidance of Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah united not divided. Saith the Lord your Redeemer - So Be It!!!

@@TheNICHELady Thank you for your kind response - this is going into our third month (since 17th February it's now 27 April) living away from our homes waiting to be repaired. But we are grateful we are alive and being well looked after but some did lose their lives they too are being well looked after as well.

I was blessed this weekend with having all my young adult boys (22, 23, 25 and 28) come over with their new sweet wives and my youngest with his girlfriend. We grilled burgers on the pit, played cornhole, darts and sat around talking catching up. It was a wonderful day and evening. It made my heart so happy and made me remember how truly blessed I am. Family is everything!!
My colonoscopy results, is wonderful news, no polyps, and no CANCER! I had been diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer, about 4-6 weeks ago, and I was terrified that it was going to be stage 4; and I would have missed out on My Grandaughter's Wedding this November! Now with this positivity in my future, I am SO grateful, for GOD taking the Wheel for ME.
Danni - I am 72 and was a single mom raising 4 kids on my own for many years, so your struggles often are quite familiar to me.
I want you to know I love you to pieces, and I wish I were young and healthy enough to come and help you slay your dragons - and I’m quite sure we’d “make it fun!”

At 71 years old, I was hired by the circus to manage and sell their merchandise. Its so exciting to work and travel with these amazing people!
The wildflowers are blooming here in Texas. Each day my dog and I take a 2-mile walk on a dirt road near my apartment so we can enjoy them. It just makes me happy to be with my dog out in the sunshine and fresh air.

I even opened a very small booth at the antique/vintage mall here in our very small town in Texas so I could indulge my love of finding antiques, books, and treasures. I've been shopping at trades days since I was a child. I am 67 now. I also enjoy the Picker Road family and their videos. They are so knowledgeable and well-spoken. Danni, I watch you because you are so knowledgeable. I am entertained and schooled at the same time. The challenges in this world are so hard to accept. Things are so different from my childhood to my childrens childhood to my grandchildrens childhood. One thing I have learned is there is alot more "pure evil" among us now. The best advice from my experiences is to continue to love even when it is the hardest. Nourish your family and friends as nuch as possible and try to block out the rest. We cant save the whole world but we can make a difference with our own tribe. Blessings to you and your children. Dont let the negative destroy the joy you have worked so hard to get. ❤

It doesn't have to be big to be huge. I am 71 years old and I still work full time. A friend came by and mowed my yard while I worked on Sunday. It took a lot of pressure off of the time I have this week.
I'm pretty proud of myself. I've been watching how to paint watercolor pics. All my life I've always wanted to learn how to do it and I'm pretty sure I've learned enough that I'm not scared to try and paint a pic. It makes me happy to make beautiful art! Yay!
YOU bring joy to me as you find such wonderful treasures and teach me the value and history of each piece. I don’t spend any money, I don’t have to sell and ship them, but I learn so much from you. Take care. We are praying for relief of the stress you are under. A bright spot in our life right now is that we just repainted our 30 year old home in a beautiful aqua color (we are in Florida) and have a new white fence for our puppies to play in after our old one fell down during Hurricane Ian. Everything now looks so new and fresh!! Life has its trials, that’s for sure, but we can get through anything with God and the wonderful friends that He gave us!! Hang in there, Danni! I went on my 2nd thrifting spree EVER last week! In my quick estimation I got several hundred of dollars worth of value for $40!!!!!! The place I shopped helps homeless men find a better life! Someone there needed suitcases to help them move their things into a shelter. I bought 3 suitcases for them because I knew I would more than make the money back that I spent! I passed the blessing forward!
