So here is a sound test for all 4 plates. This took quite a while and I made sure to do them all in one swoop so nothing changes from a mic placement or environmental standpoint. You will notice that the plate foam test all sound VERY similar, well, that's because they do. haha. The ones without foam will give you a better idea of the difference in sound between the plates. As always, take the sound test with a grain of salt, and use it to compare sound changes rather than assuming this is how it will sound on your board. Thanks again y'all!

Thanks for his video. I was going t get pom and fr4, but I feel like pom and PC are more versatile because with foam they sound deep, and removing foam you get clack. As opposed to aluminum and FR4, whether you use foam or not, you only get clack, just different volumes of clack. I think I will change my fr4 plate order to pc since I prefer deep sound in general...I find deep sound more soothing. Thanks again.

First. Thanks for subscing my friend. That means a lot!
So plate is strictly preference. For this board if you want a soft typing experience, try PC or POM (pom is my fav). If you want more clack, go aluminum. There is no hard fast rule on plates with linear or tactical. It's all preference. From softest to hardest it goes PC, POM, FR4 then Alu.
