Now this is a video I was stoked to see. Always was curious how you built this business. Easily the most well known private salvage company
Well now you know! Glad you liked it!
Hey Lee, I've been watching your UA-cam channel for 6 to 9 months now, but hadn't watched this video till now ...great story...proves that hard work and determination "will get you somewhere!"....great work mate 👍
I appreciate that!
"Sorry Dalts up there about to get smoked by a Mustang" hehehe
Lee, bought a set of ZL1 1LE take off wheels and tires for my new 23’ from you this past winter. Couldn’t be happier. Great price for great used parts. Thank you for being an honest business. Keep up the good work! 👍🏻
Where do they cure the LeeC vid addiction? 🤔
this is mad inspiring.
Great back story Lee
Very inspiring man
I really liked hearing that story. I'm glad you're in our region, you seem to be doing well.
Thank you for all of your business.
I love your videos, and I wish you all of the success you work for
Great stuff.
you living the dream man
Great origin story. Questions- was your Mom behind ya more, or moreso suggesting you not do this, especially in her space? Your competitor buddy, y'all consider joining forces at any time? Anyway, really happy for you man. We're entering a golden era for ice parts and mechanics due to EV bs and I'm just absofuckinglutely rooting for you to preserve these parts, cars, the culture I know and love.
Okay.. more questions, because I don't understand shelf life of some salvage parts and I care so much about preserving ice setups- are people in your space making investments larger than normal for purpose of piling parts and salvages? are you? and if not, why doesn't it make sense to buy a warehouse full of soon to be even harder to find items? If you could manufacture say just 2 or 3 valuable in demand parts, what would you be manufacturing?
man that's an awesome story.
I used to live down the street from Alex and Austin we'd swap Rx7 parts alot a loooong time ago in bel air. Glad to see they're doing really well!
Never really thought about it but, starting with Subarus like you did could be a good idea, they are kinda on the complicated side of little 4 cyl motors but still simple enough to learn! That way your used to working in tight spaces
I pretty much knew your journey but didn't realize the challenges. Now I know why you got a warehouse that far away. BTW, I would have had a good pic for this video from our backyard, where it began. You, Dan and the white WRX....❤️❤️
U guys definitely need a location in Texas is a lot $ here but also a lot of competition..
Great to finally know the history at how you started!! Always hearing you saying your going to Michigan though. Do you have a location here or up here buying cars?
thank you
Thanks for watching!
Awesome story very inspiring. I started my wholesale dealership in MD (my home state)but moved to Houston and I’m working out of my garage here. You should definitely check Houston out they have the largest copart in the US here and the car scene is crazy here. The best thing is that they don’t have salvage inspections, and I operate out of state so essentially I can operate as a retail dealership.
How was the process to getting your wholesale license? I want to get mine in WI (I live in IL) since one of my detailing clients has a wholesale license there and he can somehow get around the laws and sell the cars on the street like on Facebook marketplace. And I know with a regular dealer plate you can do the same thing but you have to have the buyer sign all the paperwork and pay for tax/title
Even in the UK you guys are pretty well known for good salvage parts...👍🙂👍
Mov to NY and need a 6L80E
Another one!
Lol, My name is LEE C as well. I go by my middle name. I started watching because of the same name, but I continued to watch, I love the content. The name is catchy bud! keep it up.
Yer badass
U commented about why the a pillar is opened up on car and I bet that is to gain access to the wiring so they can get access to the can bus to break in to the electronic ports
I remember all those cars and was there every week
Oh yeah, you were the #1 customer because you couldn’t stop breaking Subarus 🤣
Come to Houston!!! If you guys opened a business here it would go crazy
Can you tell the story about how Dalton came into the picture
This is a great video. I very familiar with the area you are currently located. I stay in Salisbury!! Glad I’m subscribed and it was your Dodge Demon build that has me locked in. I may visit the yard, do you do tours?
Come by during business hours!
Holy crap, I think the first time I met you was buying the ignition from that red Fd in your old back yard!
That’s hilarious lol
Whoa Whoa Whoa! There are worse areas in Essex than where you lived lol At least it was off the main road (a bit) lol
This is true’
A place in San Antonio would be cool too.
I have been spending a lot of time in Texas 🤔
You don't pay State income tax in Texas. I'm from Newark, DE and I know that loosing the bridge must be a pain. I moved to TX 20 years ago. San Antonio would put you close to the 3 Texas Co parts. The weather is better and Texas is pro business.@@LeeC
Hey man idk if u need an intern but i’d be down to go all the way over to learn some things and start a business just like yours
I want this gt4 badly
It can be yours! But I’m not dropping it off in Ohio, I’ll meet you at the border
Hello. Have you crashed Rivian?
Haha enjoyed this one! Crazy how similar the story is here. Shitty business name and all 😂😂
Keep it up man!
I don’t know man, yours ain’t as bad as mine!
What are the negative changes that have happened to the salvage industry in the last few years?
Started from the bottom. I cant respect stories like this enough.
Essex... still better than Dundalk.
TJE PRICES ARE RIDICULOUSSSS I WOULD NOT BUY ANY MOTORS FROM THERE
"At the age of 21, it was time to buy my first house" Tell me that you come from money, without actually telling me you come from money.
Typical.
I bought my first house at 22. It's not hard at all. FHA loans help first-time buyers.
Don't hate on people you know nothing about. Smh
@@andydhillon1977Okay and when did you buy your first house? Because the market of the last 15+ years is not even in the same realm of somebody who bought a house in the 90s to early 2000s. It is no longer the same as when you were coming up.
@truthseeking3818 You can buy a house with literally zero money down with USDA loan/1st time homebuyer loan.. You can't afford a purchase with zero money down needed? 😆🤡
