The mash up of 80s and 90s awesomeness (including the toys and comic references) is one of the things that makes this channel so fun to come back to. Not only are the reviews fantastic, but you guys are just plain fun. Thanks for all the years of reliable info and entertainment!
Bro seeing that stuff actually makes you even more relatable. I know you got that nerd tendencies like me. I'm 6'5 250 lb black man and the first time I had some friends over at my apartment and they saw all my Star wars books organized on a shelf and my Marvel/DC comic in plastic. They were a little shocked. But come to find out they were fans as well. So trust there's more nerds in us than we let on.
Good to see you on court! Just copped the ASW colorway and can’t wait to play in them. Rotation now is the J34, AE1, LBJXX. Was waiting on this video!!
those tmnt and x-men toys are just pure nostalgia. the depth of knowledge in reviewing shoes that Chris brings to the table comes from more than a decade of experience
Man hearing that intro is so iconic and there's so much nostalgia for me. Been following Chris since way back then. Love your work bro. 🔥 thank you for giving us great content always!
Glad that you did a performance review again. I think you do a lot better than the others. Not saying they do a bad job. You just do it a lot better. Detailed, informative and better explanation of real world experience for users.
Man, those action figures collection is so sick! Brought me memories from my childhood! I'm a big Masters of the Universe and TMNT fan, even got a nickname about it back on elementary school, they called me Brauliotello because Donnie is my favorite turtle. Shoutout to you Chris!
Just got back in the game after a long while, and it’s really nice to still see you whenever I need help in choosing the right shoes. Missed you so much Nightwing!
Dude, always love your reviews...never be ashamed of things you genuinely enjoy and are passionate about. I love sports and performance footwear and I also love superhero films and shows, Star Wars, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, and good shows and films in general. I've got Force FX lightsabers right next to all my Nikes and Air Jordans. Thanks for everything you and your wife do to contribute to the culture!
For anyone curious, I played in this colorway of the GT Cut 3’s and the ASG blue/green colorway. Both are very comfortable but, if you can get your hands on the ASW version (on sale now)…do it. Super light, super responsive. Also, throw out the insole immediately and throw in a Move insole. You will be thrilled.
I get it. I've been a gamer since '83 and it's been my longest past time as I approach 50. I'm still hooping, but I got into the sneaker reviews(collecting) '13.
I’ve tried these on a couple of times at my local DSG. They feel stiff at first but just walking around in them, I feel like after 10 or so hours they would be money. But I’m not ready to spend $190 on them, which is what’s holding me back. I think once they hit below $150 I’ll come back to them. I’m glad you decided to go with shoe reviews and not toy reviews. I don’t know what all it takes to review toys but I feel like reviewing equipment that we were on our feet everyday or for sports is much more engaging and useful. But action figures, toys and the like are awesome!
My friend Jermon had his entire bedroom wall covered in collected sealed figures in elementary school. That was one of the coolest things I ever saw, but I would never be able to have action figures and NOT crack them open.
Awesome review as always, and props for the pegboard display organization. That leads me to a Q.O.T.D. For those out there who collect and or hoard, how would you describe your collection: 1: organized, yes or no 2: displayed, yes or no 3: sealed, yes or no
Love the GT range but yeah I’m done buying sneaks for now got way too many rn. As for toys I remember way back when I was 8 yrs old I went to a friend’s house and he had a Star Scream transformer toy but it was made out of metal and the transform sequence was intricate like a rubix cube….best toy I’ve ever seen.
This shoe is on my list and would love to pick up a pair at discount eventually. The GT Hustle is one of my favorite shoes out right now. Nike is doing some good things with the GT Series
Once again, I’ve come back from to watch your review before pulling the trigger on a pair of these. They are on sale and there’s an additional discount, brings them down to around $100 out the door. Was gonna get the AE1 but decided to go this route
The b roll was fine. I do everything backwards in life and collecting sneakers was no different. I started late in life and enjoy the culture immensely. If you could create your own shoes, what would it be called and what would it look like? Would you combine all of your hobbies into 1 shoe?
Shape on foot with these is clean and even loose laced in hand when reviewing looks good for a casual look. Would have been a good step for the Kobe line. Good review.
Be proud of your nerd stuff. I for one am also deeply into sneakers, but I also love collecting action figures and plushies, I love reading all kinds of books (currently reading Lord of the Rings cause I love the movies, and Phil Knight’s Shoe Dog), and I love board games and tabletop card games. These kinds of stuff makes us more relatable to more people than you think it would.
Great review! What are the pro and cons vs this and the lebron 21. I want a more cushion shoe for a daily trainer shoe for padel-tennis on articfi grass. Standing long time on my feet’s. Concept same as I do for running, cushion daily trainer and more firmer for tempo running. The sole of both looks like a herribobon sole. I used indoor artificial grass with no sand on the surface and other court a liltle. I have a medium wide flat foot and podo sole. Thanks for you help mate.
Adult toy collectors don't necessarily play with toys we mostly pose and display them but I like to get buckets as well also I like to hand out headlocks and body slams if you get my drift🤨😝💪
I wish you can try out the LiNing Gamma. The tech is CCCRRRAZZZY. They placed a full length carbon plate inside the Boom cushion and they are super light weight. Best thing is that they looks so much like the Kobes.
Great review. I have running shoes with the react cushioning, they are super bouncy, and zoomx is supposed to be even bouncier. I also saw the ASW version of this shoe is on sale for just over $100. Attended a seminar once, the Physics of toys. It was interesting, I'm an Engineer, but not in the toy industry.
I collect diecast cars in 1/64 and 1/18 scale. I also have some random toys from series, movies, etc that I like and that the figure is just so good that I have to have it. Relatable 💯%
My new (pastel) GT Cut 3s are WAY stiffer than my broken in (picante) pair. I wonder if they've changed the plastic compound in the plate or it is just a consequence of break in. The newer stiffer feeling is perfect!
which are better for volleyball - gt cut 3 or lebron 20? which are more comfortable for quick stops/starts, jumps. Which are lighter, have better grip ?
I love these shoes. They’re the best court shoes I’ve ever played in. I had to go down half a size to get the bending of the shoe at the bottom of the laces to go away and they still fit fine perfect. They just run half a size too large I find.
@@Blballerboy I wouldn’t say I’ve worn them really dusty courts before. Mostly moderate to well swept courts. I mainly wore the PG line previously and switched to these 6 months ago and I find the grip better on the GT Cut 3’s
How would you rank these vs D Book 1s vs Big 3.0 Quick Pro? Theyre on sale 120, books are 110, quick 3s are 130 but have to go via their hong kong website which is a bit of a hassle
I agree with most of this review and I'm def a fan of weartesters, but the GT cut 3 does lack torsion support in my experience, especially on hard lateral cuts. Granted, I'm a heavier hooper (200lbs, 6ft). Still tho, the gt cut 3 is awesome for its cushion, traction, and very lightweight design.
The shoe is worn by taller and heavier athletes in the NBA without issue. The plate in the shoe makes them un-twistable. What you’re likely experiencing is lack of support from the upper or heel counter. Torsion isn’t the issue.
You briefly mentioned the width of the shoe - for wide footers is this as narrow as the GT Cut 2? I purchased the GT Cut 2 and had to return them because they were so narrow that I couldn't ever get them to a point where they were comfortable.
Amazing that Nike has a potential classic line on their hands again. Is this the new hyperdunk? I have a handful of action figures next to my editing desk, but not many. Just some fave characters... jason voorhees, freddy krueger, the funko Jordan BC3 freethrow line, Master Chief from Halo, classic Goku, Deadpool, etc.
Hey Chris, just wondering how did you film a performance review since you have a bad hip? Anyways, love the content and when’s the gt cut academy performance review coming?
It's weird that for basketball nike went with zoom x only but the golf model that borrows a lot of the design cues and tech has zoom pods in the forefoot
You can find the Nike GT Cut 3 for as low as $123 now at: go.weartesters.com/YYCL

When that Nightwing Weartesters performance review music kicks in 🤌
❤
Shit hits harder than drugs!
Anyone know the name of the intro song he uses?

This is how you know the friends you have are good ones lol you gotta be able to nerd out openly!
Shut it nerd.
Good to see you on court! Just copped the ASW colorway and can’t wait to play in them. Rotation now is the J34, AE1, LBJXX. Was waiting on this video!!
You really are the Goat of this Chris...love that you're back hooping man. Stay healthy!

1:30 im glad you made that distinction about the other version and im glad you explained why these shoes are so notoriously priced.
NIGHTWING REVIEWS ARE TOP TIER. No one else reviews are as good and glad you are healthy enough to provide us with performance reviews again!
I agree 100%..

Liking what you like without worrying about other people liking it too is what makes you cool! And you embody that.
I was worried when Chris didn’t say “Bad Boys” in the beginning of the video!!
That was awesome! Thanks for sharing that little BTS, you guys are amazing!
These kicks are criminally underrated. I have Kobe 6's and way of wade 10 low's, but I still hoop in the GT cut 3's (unless i wanna stunt).
Dude, always love your reviews...never be ashamed of things you genuinely enjoy and are passionate about. Underrated 80s movie on his shirt.
Little monsters was awesome and Fred Savage had on a pair of fire red threes the whole time
NGL Happy to have you back on the court with a review again... let's go!
I’ll always appreciate these performance reviews even though I hoop way less than I used to because of old age

So good to see Nightwing back on deck! For all you aspiring shooters take note of Chris' footwork and balance in the intro.
Toys, shoes, buckets - whatever rides your alley makes you who you are - and that is awesome! Thanks for sharing 😎
It's a day early for a Throwback! Loving the review! Great stuff as always!
Never care what other people think people think about you! If you Enjoy it, IT'S ALL GOOD!
Your toy/collectible videos a few years ago, helped re-spark my love for toys!
Theres something nostalgic when Nightwing does a performance review.
Just hits different. No one does it better than the 🐐
Glad you test em I had mix feeling's on 🤔 these are they good or not .all ways can count on wear testers
Omg Chris reviewing performance I’m so excited 🎉
I get it. I've been a gamer since '83 and it's been my longest past time as I approach 50.

Another great review from the GOAT!!!
love it, going back to roots. more of nightwing performance reviews please
My friend Jermon had his entire bedroom wall covered in collected sealed figures in elementary school. That was one of the coolest things I ever saw, but I would never be able to have action figures and NOT crack them open.
Great review!
It’s never too late if there’s a review from Chris
We are baby yeah nothing quite like a Nightwing performance review!!!
Shout out to the Little Monsters shirt though. Howie Mandell at his finest! Saw that movie in theaters as a kid.
Great review dude
Great to see the goat of shoe reviews back out there doing what he does best 🙌
Love the channel

When these hit sales I will be trying them out for sure. Great review as always
They on sale now on some colorways I might cop
Toys & Kicks. Had no idea ! Love the vid !
Are they more comfortable than the GT Jump 2?
if you want to remove insole, use hair dryer to heat up for about 30s to 60s to loosen up glue then remove
These and the lebron XX's are my current favorite shoes on the market... looking to get another pair of XX's before they impossible to find
20s or NXXT? The NXXT Gen were better than the 20s imo
Awesome performance review as always. 🔥🔥🔥

Best Channel on UA-cam!
I am curious to know if ZoomX bottoms out quickly over a short period of time.
My original Nike Invincible ZoomX still works great and that came out around 2020
GT Cut 3’s are probably my favorite shoe in a long time…and your toys are rad bro🤙🏼
Chris with a performance review.. welcome back.. been a while
I’m here for the edits this time! They were on point 👏🏽🔥…”did we just become best friends” 😂😂
