I absolutely love your pattern! 😭 I've been looking for an argyle sweater to make and I can't wait to try and make this. Thank you so much for the tutorial 🤎
Thank you! I think I used slip stitches then. You could also sew it with a needle, and you know how you lace your shoes? do it like that, under both loops of a stitch. Sewing is a little slower than slip stitches but looks better.
hello is it okay if i only follow your pattern? And make tons of diamond, lengthwise and crosswise then just stitch them all together like what you did? Will the result be the same? Thank you!
hi! i was making this but when i measured it, it only covers half of my body (its like a crop top😅) i still havent sewed it all tho should i add one more diamond to each? it will going to stretch right?
Hi, sorry to hear that. I assume if it's cropped then it's not gonna stretch that much to cover your waist. If the width is alright, then maybe add 1-2 more rows of diamonds at the bottom. Besides that, you can also make the ribbing a little longer. Hope this helps you fix it 🤗
hey! with the diamonds because i am using thicker wool, im not sure if mine are too big! if possible could somebody give me the measurements for the side lengths that would be great
Hi, I think I did 168 rows. The bottom ribbing is worked in the same way as the neckline so it depends on how many stitches you actually have. If you have e.g. 168 sts on the bottom edge, you would be doing 168 rows like me.
I used almost 6 balls for this oversized sweater. Also, the bottom ribbing used more yarn than I thought it would, so you might wanna get enough of that color as well
Hii, I'm not sure if you mean connecting them vertically or horizontally but if you are referring to - Vertically: when you finish one diamond, don't cut off the yarn. Just keep working the next diamond (11:00). You'll have a chain of diamonds (of the same color) Horizontally: to connect the chains of diamonds (12:07), you can use either color and sew them together or use slip stitch I hope this answers your question!😊
@@prikipasta4852 I see. You can just join them when you are sewing everything together. I connected them because it's easier. I don't have to fasten off and start another diamond all the time.

Length is 53cm/21in, width (the widest part) is 61cm/24in, shoulder 48cm/19in

Hi, there! The side length of my diamond is roughly 9 cm 😊
May I ask how many grams are needed to crochet this sweater?
Hi, I used almost 300 grams. That's almost 6 balls.
@@CherilynQ Thanks a lot
@@TamLe-lc5tx No worries! ❤
@@CherilynQ for each color?
I'm really struggling with the third row of the first triangle like I'm so confused 😭

Oh...sorry idk where my comment went...you should add ‘’crochet’ to your channel name...it’ll make it easier for ppl to find you.
Thanks!! That _was_ the name, but I've been thinking to upload other stuff too hehe
the worst mistake i made during process is doing diamonds with single crochet😢
Did you complete it all? How much yarn did you need
Hi cherry im eating dinner with u right now
