I have a hijab emergency kit in my purse: a bunch of different size pins and safety pins. You never know when it can get too windy, your new hijab is too slippery, or another sister is struggling in public. I just pinned them to a tiny towel piece and slipped it into my makeup bag.

Assalamu alykum my Muslim sisters, let's make this clear and not offensive. We ,Muslim girls and women are covering ourselves with the hijab not to model it,yes of course Allah love beauty but priority thing about wearing hijab is to cover ourselves. By covering ourselves I don just mean the hair or just the head but also covering the whole chest. So model your hijab as much as you want but remember hijab should cover you fully except for what is left to be seen that is the face,of which some muslims also say we should cover it ,and of course the palms. That is according to the Quran. We are not arguing, but we are learning and correcting each other. I did my part of sharing and I pray Allah guides us to follow his command.

Just a small tip that worked for me: if you are fair-skinned and have green/blue/grey eyes, try going for a faded black or dark-brown hijab instead, as black may look to harsh on you in contrast with your skin. 💖

For the people who are getting mad cuz she's wearing makeup or not covering her chest. Cool down. Trust me, wallahi I understand how difficult it is and I feel that on a personal level, but this difficulty is part of our sacrifices. The thing is by posting this not only is she putting something on the internet for everyone to see, so when she does correct her mistakes it’ll be hard to erase the past cause many people would have already saved this video or got influenced by it, but she is also normalising things that are not prohibited. So trust me, as muslims we are only worried about her, we don’t want her to get any sins or regrets. And it is our duty to advocate for what is right, in a respectful way of course. This is islam. It is about sacrificing for the love of Allah and his prophet, it is not about compromising our values and especially not the Obligations of Allah. And if we do need to work gradually on some things, we shall do it in private.

I had a muslim young work colleague and she looked so beautiful with her hijab i told her it fits her face shape perfectly...she also arranged it on my head and I found it so interesting to see myself with a hijab for the first time and know a bit about the muslim culture..it was a beautiful interaction until she told me she wishes she would not have to wear it but if she would stop her family would be mad ...i found that to be really sad. :(

In my country we wear jilbab that is fully tailored and reachs nearly our feet some to the elbows so if you wear this you will attract stars. You look awesome in hijab though. ❤

@ashnaveed what is meant by adornments. It’s jewellery or any kind of adornments. Read the sec last verse as well. People/ women in period of jahaliaya used to wear feet bracelets . It’s an indication To that. It’s clearly written. U r right men Have their own boundaries but women need to keep it to family. May Allah SWT guide us all. Ameen

Hide yourself from the gaze of non mehram men. Women are the greatest temptation and amongst the greatest trials for men. Hence, beware of Tabarruj for it is a grave sin.
Refrain from following “celebrities” or “hijabi influencers”. Perhaps you may see them dressed a certain way and also wish to dress like that - fear for yourself and guard your iman with shields at all angles. RATHER take the mothers of believers & daughter of Prophet (ﷺ) as your inspiration.
Study & take lessons from lives of Greatest Women in Islam. So you may see how they behaved and lived their lives - then strive to become as they were.

Niqab has different opinions some believe you must cover your hands aswell others don’t however the MAJORITY of scholars say you don’t have to wear niqab or cover your hands. I am not saying niqab is wrong though. It is compulsory to cover your neck though.

Women weren't covered. They wore western clothing, makeup, etc. Then, a change by Muslim men came with the revolution! Power and control! Blue bags for women in Afghanistan! Ninja outfits galore! In iran, if women don't cover, they get poisoned with insecticides by morality police. Women like Mahsa Amini.. killed because she had her hair showing.
