Great result for Santiago Gonzalez reaching, at 39, his first ATP Masters Final, still needs to get that extra bit of precision in the key moments in the big finals, hoepfully he has more to come in the near feature. Jack Sock... this man ROCKS the doubles court.
They did awesome this tournament. Their strengths compliment each other, especially the 1-2 combo of Isner on serve and Sock at the net. They might not be the top in terms of singles (not taking away from their victories) but doubles could be where they shine.
Honestly, I'd be happy enough with Sock just playing doubles and forgoing singles. He's one of the best doubles players at the moment, and while the skills he's developed in doubles help his singles play, I don't think he'll find the same kind of form in singles he had before his injury a few years ago. Plus, he has great chemistry with John, so I see them continuing to do well. I could be proven wrong, but for now, he's won another big tournament, so anything could happen!
