This is a true story. I know a Muslim friend who had an old age Christian neighbour living alone near my friend. My Muslim friend always visiting his Christian neighbour helping him and giving him care as best as he can. Sitting and chatting with him to relax him. The Christian neighbour dies and my friend is sad but he feels good in his heart that he helped him till he died. After a while he gets an invitation letter from a lawyer. My friend attends and to his surprise the lawyer tells my friend that his neighbour left him his 2 houses both combined are valued at around $1.5 to $2 million.
Great people of all faiths.. Muslims are amazing and I have a Muslim neighbour who is generally amazing.. He is always of help when need be. He drove me in the middle of the night to hospital without asking anything out of the good work he did.. God is Great, Muslims are great. Thumbs up Muslims.

Brothers and Sisters in Islam, how about we start saying "We feel blessed to be Muslims/We're blessed to be Muslims/Blessed to be a Muslim" instead of "*Proud*" to be Muslim ! let's think about if for a minute. The Prophet (PBUH) always talked about himself being a slave and servant of Allah, a worshiper of Allah, that he's been blessed to be a Muslim, yet there isn't anything recorded about him saying "Proud" to be a Muslim, not that he felt "proud" that Allah choose him as the last Prophet (right? Please correct me if I'm wrong). There's the healthy sense of self-confidence, self respect, and being confident in Islam as the path to Allah's acceptance, and then there's the feeling of 'self admiration' and 'high pride' that's not really Islamic (again, please correct me if I'm wrong). We all feel good, "wa'lilah alhamd" when we do good things, hear good done by our Muslim brothers and sisters, and the source of that feeling is (and got to be the feeling of being) blessed by Allah (not feeling of "pride" فخر), I'm just pointing that out so we don't fall in the wrong (and sinful) feelings of 'arrogance'. Alhamdu'lilah that Allah SWT blessed us to be Muslims, and Alhamudu'lilah that our brother had the chance to do charity in exactly the same way Islam tought him to do (and let's not forget our sister, his wife), and Alhamdu'lilah a non-Islamic TV recognized the good deeds done by him and his wife.

I know a Muslim friend who had an old age Christian neighbour living alone near my friend. My Muslim friend always visiting his Christian neighbour helping him and giving him care as best as he can. Sitting and chatting with him to relax him. The Christian neighbour dies and my friend is sad but he feels good in his heart that he helped him till he died. After a while he gets an invitation letter from a lawyer. My friend attends and to his surprise the lawyer tells my friend that his neighbour left him his 2 houses both combined are valued at around $1.5 to $2 million.
Great people of all faiths.. Muslims are amazing and I have a Muslim neighbour who is generally amazing.. He is always of help when need be. He drove me in the middle of the night to hospital without asking anything out of the good work he did.. God is Great, Muslims are great. Thumbs up Muslims.

The Prophet (PBUH) always talked about himself being a slave and servant of Allah, a worshiper of Allah, that he's been blessed to be a Muslim, yet there isn't anything recorded about him saying "Proud" to be a Muslim, not that he felt "proud" that Allah choose him as the last Prophet (right? Please correct me if I'm wrong).
There's the healthy sense of self-confidence, self respect, and being confident in Islam as the path to Allah's acceptance, and then there's the feeling of 'self admiration' and 'high pride' that's not really Islamic
(again, please correct me if I'm wrong).
We all feel good, "wa'lilah alhamd" when we do good things, hear good done by our Muslim brothers and sisters, and the source of that feeling is (and got to be the feeling of being) blessed by Allah (not feeling of "pride" فخر), I'm just pointing that out so we don't fall in the wrong (and sinful) feelings of 'arrogance'.
Alhamdu'lilah that Allah SWT blessed us to be Muslims, and Alhamudu'lilah that our brother had the chance to do charity in exactly the same way Islam tought him to do (and let's not forget our sister, his wife), and Alhamdu'lilah a non-Islamic TV recognized the good deeds done by him and his wife.
