Nicely filmed. Clearly quite a lot of effort has gone into it. I'm saving up for a Synchronika...will be getting it in November, I expect. Looking forward to it.
Tim Hawke perhaps you or someone W else can answer a question I have: what kind of water line and/or coupling device do I need to hook it up to the mains? Only need to know for water in, not out. Also, I will have a Body Glove filtration system under sink for drinking water. Is this good enough for the Synchronika? Thanks.
@@scrumpymanjack Unsure unfortunately - I'm still running mine off the tank. The guys @ whole Latte love on youtube like the BWT filter setup, with a line pressure adaptor to lower the mains pressure for pre-infusion. Have a look at that video maybe?
Tim Hawke yep. Thanks. I’m going to get that setup. I would recommend you do the same. So much easier than running off the tank. Hope you’re still enjoying your Synchronika! My plans for getting one have been pushed back by Covid - no work, no nice espresso machine! One day, though.
Nice vid mate, well done. 🙌 Considering buying the same machine, interested in your thoughts and any info / advice after a couple of years ownership. Any help appreciated. 🙂
Dan Altaras sorry I don’t know how to UA-cam so I never knew about these comments before. The Manuale-54 is alright. Sometimes it’s finnicky - when I adjust it, it jumps over to the next grind setting so I end up grinding too fine or too coarse. I wish i can set it to halfway in between settings as the extraction time difference is 10 seconds. Maybe in time I’ll be able to save up for a more fine grinder, but this is still pretty good!
@@rockster88 thanks so much for the late reply ;) I ended up purchasing a Eureka specialita, and I'm very please with all aspects of it. Quiet, fine, precise.
A few observations... 1. When turning off the steam, you don't need to turn the knob nearly that far. Just turn it until the flow of steam is stopped. Doing so will greatly extend the functional life of the steam valve gasket. Same goes for the hot water knob. 2. When steaming/frothing milk, a thermometer is not necessary. A better way to tell when to stop is to listen to the frothing sound. When the pitch drops very low, it's time to stop. 3. Latte art is idiotic.
Excellent - ECM should use your video as an advert.....it's so professionally done.
Many thanks.

happy days! I've had a Synch for almost a year. You won't be disappointed!!

Nice setup! 👌😍 Same machine, scale and notneutral cortado glass ☕
Steamed enough milk for like 6 cortados! 😜
I have the same machine, and I love it!!

nicely filmed but since the machine is a heat x I think you forgot to do a preflush.
Very, very nicely done - both the camera-work, and the coffee making.
How do you like your Manuel 54? Are you pleased with it?

1:41........Channeling . . .

It's just used for extracting hot water (for making tea ...)
Man, that’s a loud pump.
Turnnnnnnnnnnnnn down the mic
