Bottom line: Pau is the first drummer that I have actually concentrated on during a song even if she's not singing. She's just fun to watch. She's an entertainer.

Every time I watch her play I become more impressed by how talented she is. She was born with refined skills, on drumming, singing, songwriting and a bonus one, being a front woman. Pau is remarkable!
And technological coordinator of live shows through her laptop by using 2 MIDI pedals on the floor.

The first time I saw The Warning was their video "Evolve"...incredible song with killer lyrics..but what caught me was the drummer; she was bouncing with such intensity her pig tails were twirling like she might take off at any second and she was killing it! Then I heard XXI Century Blood and I was hooked.
it is sooo cool that half the time while Dany is singing a song live, Pau is mouthing the lyrics- thats pride of ownership among other things
Now that's a drummer coming out of her shell and finding herself and her groove...I was self taught starting at 11 years old...liker her as I got more experience the shoulders get loose the head bobs and goes back, and the arms fly out all over the drumset...she's now ---ROCKIN..!!!!! NO MORE TIGHT, STIFF, WITHDRAWN LEARNER BUT , A RELAXED LET IT GO HAVING FUN ROCKER!!!! TAKE THAT MOM AND DAD....!!!!!!! A

When you have a drummer / singer / composer like Pau your job is half done as a band. And then add Ale on the bass to that - phew!!! One of the tightest, technical rhythm sections ever.

It took me 15 years to realize how good Paulina actually is. I remember being very annoyed at a lot of young drummers back then because well, I came from a punk world. And seeing a lot of children in UA-cam it just seemed like it was mostly for profit as parents wanted to exploit children in this modern day of age. It’s always been this way anyway but with social media it was very amplified and it gave me a weird eek, but I was always a fan. I grew up listening to her music since they were getting big in Mexico, it just amazes me because I had never noticed her talent, until now, that I as a drummer have developed my sense of musicianship. Anyway she’s great, she will go down as one of the greatest musicians of our generation. She’s just so natural, it’s great! And when you’re this great, things just come to you! Those three are on a great path I wish I could have gone through, I admire them a lot.

The whole band writes the songs. When someone comes up with a chord structure and/or melody, but then the whole band constructs the arrangement, it's a group effort.

Nice video! Pau is a musical genius! Main songwriter of the band. Her practical, but also theoretical skills are huuuuge! Classical educated in music, she has all the knowledge about composing and songwriting. But also her lyrics, Black Holes, Narcisista, Animosity are only examples of her outstanding lyricism! And how she loves her toms! To see Pau drumming and singing must be an experience that I hope to witness when they‘ll tour Europe! 👍⚡️🤘

What an incredible journey and documentary, Pau has gone through a few drum sets :-) She has been Blessed with amazing skills. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this, only recently discovered the band, learned a lot about them here on UA-cam. I ordered their newest CD. looking forward to seeing them live, hopefully on the west coast of the U.S. Thanks for sharing all the videos.
She is just as good as fronting the band as she is at drumming. She is the "Michael" of the Villarreal family and she will become huge one day soon.

Thanks The Warning Cave these are awesome clips of Pau since the beginning. I have never seen some of these and I thought I watched everything in the last few years. It is hard to keep up now that so many people have become fans and post great videos like this. She keeps getting better and better and we can all see that with our own eyes. For example The Aftershock Festival and Tecate Peninsula they were fantastic. They care about and always thinking of us fans and never giving a mediocre performance ever! They don't have to share what they do on social media but the fans love it and get to be with them during their tours and festival shows.
All 3 of you have incredible talent! It’s been awesome following your progress! Rock on!

decades ago, I graduated from the School of Music in Virginia at a naval base. On our seal was the inscription "Music Universal Language". You ladies prove this with every performance. I hope to someday see a performance in person. I live in Eastern Oregon, so either Portland or Boise, Idaho would work.
