Should Eli Manning make the Hall of Fame?
No
Yes
I think he will but not a first ballot
He Should - imagine what would happen if both Manning Brothers get in
Yes he should
At least someone appreciates Garoppolo. Dude gets so much unwarranted hate for no damn reason
He gets plenty of ball washing. He gets criticized because he is inconsistent.
Because people act like he is perfect throwing dimes when really he is just along for the ride
@@alexdenty7041 Facts this man Colin called him great, where is great? If he was great they would trust him to throw the ball more than 8 times. Guy is the definition of a game manager
Jordan Davis I’m not trying to say garoppolo is great, but he’s a good qb and it’s not a trust issue. If your running back gets 200 yards 4 TDs off 8 yards a carry why would you pass the ball??
All these comments are gonna age terribly
"I'm not a conspiracy guy" but it's my show so here's one for you
Kyle Ramirez 😆😆
Here’s a conspiracy: “Saturn’s Black Cube”
Thanks for the recap
@@NewNormalWorldOrder Hexagonal , actually .
@Faceless Role Models
No I’m talking about Saturn’s Black Cube, which involves Saturn’s hexagonal north pole.
“Saturn’s Black Cube” is literally world wide Saturn/Satan worship, which is put RIGHT IN OUR FACE. Look it up.
FINALLY SOMEONE SHOWING RESPECT ‼️
Respect? Garoppolo had a few great game I'll give you that, but Shanahan had him hand it off to other players for the entire playoffs. Could you imagine if Andy Reid only gave the ball to Mahomes 6 times in one game? Jimmy G's an elite game manager at best.
Its actually shade if you think about it
@@thejuspillai971 Hey bud I'm pretty sure he's talking about Colin showing Eli Manning respect..look at his profile pic "NY Giants"..Colin talks about it towards the end of the video
@@thejuspillai971 by the way any NFL team that can run the ball at will is gonna *run the ball at will* it's common sense do you not understand football? so how does that give you the right to criticize Garrapolo?
I LOST IT @ “unlike Aaron Rogers.” 😂
The shot heard from around the world
He had me at that too 🤣🤣🤣 there was no need to throw aaron name out like that
Senseialex23 it's true though. He's horrible on the road
@@SwagMaster824it's just the way Colin said it is what makes it funny. Quick and out of nowhere. Lol
Thank you Colin for putting respect on Eli’s name and for giving Jimmy G some respect too
F the Hall of fame Eli should be given a Holiday for stopping Brady from going undefeated
Eli is a GOD in the NY tri-state area..the red carpet is rolled out wherever he goes
Eli is the most over rated pos. He wins cause of great teams not himself just a few lucky catches which one wedged into a helmet
Tarik Denec lmao
As a pats fan I must agree
@@Monkey_D_Cluffy How do you work that out? The Pats were HUGE favourites going into BOTH SB's against The Giants uneducated knobhead.....

2 4 1
Then proceeds to spew some half-baked conspiracy theory
“I’m not a stat guy”
Colin, it gets even crazier when you realize that Brady would love to play for the 49'ers, but Belichick essentially blocked that move by trading Jimmy G to them first.
Oh yea. Brady is from the area. But...he can always try for the chargers
Interesting take
Frank Salidivar no way Brady would be a backup. He’s too competitive and it would be detrimental to his brand.
Makes sense - Bradys idol is montana.
No Kraft blocked it. BB was down for trading Brady
After Eli's rookie year, he didn't have a losing season until 2013. So I know ppl wanna rip on his overall .500 career, but in his prime he was absolutely a winning qb. #fuckmcadoo
bumgod75 blame Jerry Reese for that too
well shouldve retired 5 years ago then
@@wsimmons920 How was he supposed to know his front office wasn't going to give him an OLine or keep the Defense healthy. 8 years or so in, he learned a whole new system and STILL put up career high numbers with as weak an OLine as he had ever had and less defense. Eli falling off is the product of poor ownership and management and coaching.
Eli is 2nd all-time in 4th quarter comebacks. The guy was money in high pressure situations.
Yea only 2 years it mattered
I mean he definitely didn't have more than peyton and tom so idk where that fact is coming from...
No he’s not. Eli is 13th all time in 4th quarter comebacks. Brady is 2nd
Or he was behind and lost a lot.
@Tutti Frutti Eli us 7th all-time in passing! Top 20 in 5 different categories as QB
Finally somebody that likes Eli... Awesome segment Colin
LOVE COLIN’S SEGMENT ON ELI!!!! ONE OF THE BEST SEGMENTS EVER!!!!
"Unlike Aaron Rodgers" lmfaoo 😂.
Colin, I’ve been watching you everyday for the past 3 years, I clicked on this video ready to spazz on you for slandering Eli, but you completely nailed this on the head, and along with the first bit of Garoppolo and Bellichick being completely true, you cement yourself as best sports talk show host in the modern era.
Keith J Tremmel Thats facts i cant even stand stephen a but colin is great
Eli in the hall of fame if you don’t think so then you probably just started watching football the last 3 years
Really..??? What did he do after his defense won 2 SBs...??? 0 playoff wins....has numbers because of league rules...he was OK...but hes no HOF QB....he had to come up with 18 points in his 2 SBs...big deal...that's defense not Eli..
1perfectstrangerr he isn’t a first ballet but he would probably get in around his 4th try
Jarred page Lets not act like Eli didn’t contributed in those Super Bowl runs from stopping a perfect season from happening and defeated the 15-1 packers in his second super bowl run by 17 points just because he has been garbage the last few years does not mean he isn’t a all time best
@@andy522g In almost every game that Eli won, the opposing QB had a total collapse and had one of the worst games of his career. And in most cases, Eli still needed a lucky play to win. Two points to think about. One is that Eli never beat a playoff team that scored more than 20 points. The other is that in his other 4 playoff appearances, it was 4 games, 4 losses, 3 crushing defeats, 1 shutout, 1 game over 169 yards, a combined 3 TDs (less than 1 per game), 7 ints (almost 2 per game), and a 54 passer rating.
And something that Eli fans fail to recognize is that if you break up his career in half 2004-2011 and 2012-2019, despite having "2 SB runs" in the first half and his worst season in the second half, he's still a better QB in the second half and won squat. In fact, in 2018, he had one of his best years ever! He was making things happen! He.... was 21st in the passer rating. I've been waiting almost a decade for someone to reasonable explain this.
@@tomknapp6194 that was a year ago so just got to wait four more years until Eli is hall of fame eligible but I doubt he will get in the first try so maybe 4th ballot
Jimmy G reminds me of a young Eli Manning. The look away throw with your eyes closed. Prone to throw pics but comes up clutch in tight situations
If you actually followed Eli's career and knew what you were talking about then you'd know a good chunk of Eli's picks where off the hands of so so wide outs. He never had a premium WR until OBJ after Plex shot himself.
8:42 Colin taking a cheap shot at Aaron. 😂👏
Play a whole quarter in a playoff game before you talk bud
I mean he's not wrong Aaron Rodgers road record is kind of bad
@Ben Dover he has a better playoff record than Rodgers does
@Ben Dover but how many more opportunities to get back to the Super Bowl has Rodgers had than Eli and not only that but wasn't the Giants defense in 2011 ranked 25th and 31st in pass rushing? sounds to me like he carried his defense to a championship
@Ben Dover he played well enough to win the Super Bowl though...
In 16 years the man never missed a game due to injury. Iron Man-ning!
But, in 2006 and 2009, he was being booed.
Eli is still the most passing yards in single post season history. Eli won the Superbowl in 2011 with the 25 ranked defense. The lowest to ever do it.
Wait what? Most passing yards in a single postseason? No way that's true. Hold on I will be back.
Shawn Sanders it’s true.
@@justarandominternetdude2579 yeah, it's true but it was done in 4 games. Not 3. I give him WAY more credit going on the road for 3 games and winning in Green Bay on his way to the Superbowl then holding that record for yards. That stat needs context and the context is it was 4 games where MOST Superbowl winners only play 3.
Don't forget in 2011 the Giants had the 32nd ranked rushing offense. Eli literally carried them that season.
Think about this for more than 2 seconds. The best QBs have a first round bye and only have 3, not 4 games, to compile stats. What were his average yards per game? I'll bet they were not that great. But 4 vs 3 could make a big difference.
Doesn’t garoppllo already have 2 rings😂
He didn't earn them though. I'm sure he wants to earn one as a starter.
Good one!!
He earned them. But I get it it’s his legacy
He has 3.
arturo sanchez Incorrect
As a Pat's fan, eli won 2 chips. He will get in.
john bush not hall of fame worthy when he has more wins than some hall of famers ?? I don’t even mess with giants Either... that just doesn’t make any sense tho
Dude has more superbowls than Transcended talented Aaron Rodgers. Superbowls are better than stats, especially when you are the starting QB
@john bush if you are an owner you'd take superbowls over 15 years of stats and only one chip
Jarred page beating bad teams so Brett Farve Dallas Aaron Rodgers 15-1 btw The 49ers and both patriots teams are bad teams???
His play off runs were legendary as a niners fan
That awkward pose when the conspiracy music didn't play hahahaha

Nice to see Eli go out with the New York crowd standing and cheering. He should be in. Two superbowls. Enjoy retirement.
That's great! What else did he do in his 16 year career? a 2x SB MVP must have oodles of great accomplishments! Please regal us with them.
How could anybody possibly look at the 2007 Super Bowl and say Eli was the MVP of that game? He put up 17 points, 19-34 for 250. That defensive line which kept Brady to 14 points is the reason they won that game.
Eli Manning a Hall of Famer, don't @ me.
100%
@
kindley fernand hi
Jarred page you neglected to mention how he’s too 10 in passing yds and tds. He’s making the hof
Zero times led the league in TDs, 3 times led the league in INTs. Not one season was he even close to being MVP. .500 record, which is average in case you are bad at math. Two lucky throws/catches in the superbowl does not make a hall of fame QB. He did less with talented teams than anyone in nfl history.
Well said. Anyone who doesn't think eli belongs in the HOF doesn't know anything about football
“Can’t win without Brady!”
Meanwhile, the patriots have a winning pct above 0.700 when Brady’s backup starts the game.
N0TYALC you counting the 5-11 in 2000? 0-2 to start 2001?
I'm sure you're referring to the 08 season that Brady was injured, and if you want we can talk about that season. That roster was one of the best of all time in the nfl, proof: the season before with Brady they went 16-0. Without him they went 11-5, and went down by around 270 points when you take points scored and subtract points against. Brady was literally worth 270 points based on those two seasons comparison. I have no idea why this is a relevant argument because they also MISSED the playoffs that year with Brady gone; do you think they would have missed the playoffs with him? 08 would have been a VERY strong year for a championship and probably one of Brady's best statistical years if not for the injury, yet people pretend like it's proof Brady isn't necessary.
Ryan Gallant Thank You! Perfectly stated. I was going to write something about that, but you got it down!
Kaque Burlington why would I? I said Brady’s backup. Brady wasn’t the starter yet. Learn to read bro.
Jarred page How are they gonna win 12 games? All they have is one of the best defenses in the league and a hall of fame coach!
I’d bet you any amount of money that the patriots will win more than Tom does if he leaves next year.
Thank you sir. Yes, Eli deserves the HOF.
When it's the Hall of Luck, Eli is a shoo-in. As long as it takes skill, never.
Wasn't expecting that from Colin. Well said about Eli
2:04 "cue conspiracy music"
*dead space*
So corny that they block it out
Mario Jamaal they can’t play it on UA-cam because the video will get copyright claimed if you play even a few seconds of copyrighted music, that’s why the videos cut out the plays he’ll talk about sometimes because the NFL will do the same thing.
Mario Jamaal foh white boi
IF JIMMY G WINS A SUPERBOWL ITS LIKE BELLY WON A SUPER BOWL TO 🥺🥺😂
No, not at all.
Well Belichick already has 8 Superbowl rings!
HAD to sneak in an Aaron Rodgers dig lol...
Eli 2-0 in the Super Bowl against Brady = Automatic HoF!
Great! What was his record vs the Cutlers, Tannehills, Keenums, Bradfords, and such? Oh, 117-117? He got lucky and is NOT worthy of the HoF.
His face when he says unlike Roger's was classic
Colin,
I don't often agree with you, but your DEAD ON with Belichick and Garropollo
Eli is one of only 5 players in the history of the NFL to win multiple super bowl mvps. Top 7 in passing yards. First ballot hall of famer
Colin with another perfect argument. Very simple, as always.
OK, Kraft if you're going to meddle........enjoy- BB
I don't always ride my bicycle uphill, but when I do, I shift gears.
I've never agreed with Colin more. That was my first thought when I heard about the trade - that Belichek REALLY wanted Jimmy G to be successful simply to prove a point.
If you can't tell the history of a sport without mentioning an individual, they are lock-ins for the Hall of Fame. Eli is absolutely getting in
I waited 2 yrs for this story 2 break! 💪 genius move!
Absolutely right collin a lot of ways to get in period.
People are talking garoppolo up like he doesn’t have an amazing run game, really good young wide receivers, and a top 3 defense. He’s overrated. Garoppolo = Joe Flacco
rambo3000000 49ers 41 to 19 over chiefs. Jimmy G mvp.
Hes better than flacco easily but hes not a star quite yet
Charles Barkley: over 22 points and almost 12 rebounds per game for 16 years. 11 All-Star teams, 6 1st team all-NBA. He is hall of famer for his on court accomplishments.
Thank u ...u can't tell the story of the NFL without "Eli Manning" ...period...Eli created his own MOMENTS...
I've been watching the NFL for almost 40 years. Not once have I heard the "Can't tell the story of the NFL" argument until Eli. It is like Eli fans know that he's nothing special and made that up to make him sound better.
Colin's theory make sense.
Anyone who doesn't think Eli belongs in the Hall of Fame should watch this, Colin makes a very cogent case for Eli.
he really had to throw in "unlike Arron Rodgers" LMAO, well done colin, never a day without getting one sly comment about rodgers
I miss colin on the radio here in houston
let's not forget that this year was Jimmy G's FIRST FULL season as a starting QB.. before this year, 2 games as a backup at NE, then 5 games after he got traded to SF at the end of the season, then 3 games at the start of a season before he got injured....
The fact that we're sitting here debating if someone is a hall of Famer, automatically means he's not a hall of Famer. I don't remember any debates when joe Montana, dan Marino, or John Elway were eligible
eli manning is obviously not dan marino, but not all hall of fame quarterbacks are. 2 time SBMVP and top 10 in multiple important QB stats. HOF in my book.
I agree
@@cartermalmstrom7135 naw one of those sbs mvps belong to the defensive line.
He won 2 Super Bowls so ya he should
Just like his brother
And two clutch throws in those Super Bowls as well
Ok so Robert Horry should be in the hall of fame cause he won 7 rings right
@@jackiegrana3334 Robert Horry doesn't have any Finals MVP's, nor is he top ten in any statistical categories.
@Arif Ali absolutely agree that’s right. Plus Eli went through Tom Brady aka the GOAT to get those 2 championships so ya I think he should be in the HOF for sure
Thank you Colin!
When the trade happened, Colin was saying that Bill was trying to sabotage the Patriots. Two superbowls later, now he's saying Bill just wanted the best for Jimmmy G.
Eli owns two of the biggest clutch throws in Suberbowl history, that will be shown 100yrs from now, over and over. The Tyree throw got him in the HOF, and the Manningham throw, sealed the deal.
Part of it was that low-key Mike Shanahan and Bill Bellicheck are really close friends and he loves Kyle like his own son. People on the media tend to forget this. If there's a coach Bill respects and cares about is Mike Shanahan.
Haters are gonna hate! Silence the noise....keep doing you JimmyG!
Eli may not have been perfect, but I hate it when people say he got carried to Super Bowls. That 2011 Giants team was ranked 32nd in rushing offense and their defense was 27th & 25th in yards and points allowed respectively. The dude carried that team to the playoffs and won it all. I'd vote him in just for that.
Colin Cowherd praising Eli Manning? I thought I’d never see the day
Yes they played all Eli footage from beyond four years he was really good at his job and he will make the Hall of Fame! it's just his time has come to an end as a football player! Thanks for the memories Eli
Colin kept it real on Eli.
longevity, four pro bowls, 2x Superbowl MVP, Beat the most dominate team in NFL history TWICE in the Superbowl, Beat Arguably the GOAT TWICE in the Superbowl, Beat Arguably Greatest coach of all time. One of two players on those SB teams that's going to the hall so they weren't loaded with HOF'ers. One of 5 QBs in the HOF with 2 Super Bowl MVPs.He is the only QB in NFL history to beat 2 teams with 15 or more wins in the playoffs. Had to beat the top QB's of his era to win those super bowls: Ryan, Favre, Rogers both at Lambo and Brady twice. The record for most passing yards in a single playoff run. He played his whole career without a #1 WR, TE or a Dominate RB yet he's 7th all time in stats.
Eli was a second half quarterback, he thrived on the pressure. On UA-cam alone, he has a 25 min video of all his 4th quarter comebacks (as romo was ). And it’s probably not all of them
I despise Eli and was a firm believer he wouldn't get into the HoF until I watched this. Colin really nailed it on the head about the whole historical relevance bit.
Eli Manning should make the HOF. Not on his first ballot, but definitely should make it in his 3rd or 4th year of eligibility
Of course Eli a Hall of Famer ya got hall of famers with no Championships
My 44 Face-Off good point. Plus he beat Goliath......... TWICE
But if he didn't have a championship he definitely wouldn't be ..... But he should be in there with 2 championships
Brady went to two SBs and won one. Belicheck wasn’t right lmao
Pats might have won two with Jimmy instead of one who knows.
If Eli played for the Patriots, he would have won as many Super Bowls as Brady - maybe more.
Eli Manning goes into the Hall of Fame for soooo many reasons....hall of fame isn't reserved for good careers. It's reserved for IMPORTANT careers. 1st pick in the draft. Beat the patriots in SB twice!!! Beat an undefeated patriots team in the SB. Played a long career with an astounding legacy of consecutive starts....I mean these are very important things.
#ThankYouEli
I hope Eli remains in the organization in some way.
If Belicheck is sadistic enough to laugh at that funny time wasting against the jets. Then this story actually kind of fits his character.
Barkley was great in the playoffs, wrong on that one Colin
He just had to throw the shade at Rodgers at 8:38
2:03 Colin: “Okay, John. Crazy conspiracy music.”
*5-10 seconds of dead silence*
You can’t tell the Miami Dolphins 1972 undefeated season without Eli.
That made a lot of sense
John. YOU’RE FIRED!!!
I don't understand how Eli is even up for debate, putting the two championships aside...7th in Touchdowns, 7th in Yards, 7th in comp. perc, his career passer rating is better than 11 QB Hall of famers...and he has over 110 wins. Is Eli the only guy in the top ten for TD's, and Yards not in the hall..that's insane
Not only did Eli put a Manning sized dent in the Patriots dynasty, but went to Lambeau twice and kept Rodgers and Favre from making Superbowl appearances. I honestly believe that NFC championship game against Kaepernick and that ferocious defense took a lot out of him. His will and courage were unmatched.
He is currently top ten in several important categories and he is one of the most durable quarterbacks of all time. Yes, he declined towards the end, but the weak line only exacerbated his deficiencies
Colin:nobody so happier to see Jimmy g in the Super Bowl then bill B
Jimmy Gs family:he really just ..... ok
I believe they are going to regret trading this guy he's really good he's actually in the Super Bowl this year who would've have ever seen that coming I didn't!
You throw 100 darts, one is bound to hit the jackpot! Just one of the 1000s of moves Belichick made in his career. One stuck and he is god now, what ever!
The hall of fame is an individual award and using Charles Barkley as an analogy was idiotic. His individual achievements are well beyond hall of fame worthy. He was a league MVP, led the league in rebounding, went to the finals, named one of the 50 greatest players of all time,11 time all
Star, Olympic gold medal winner, top 10 in ppg and rpg every year of his prime. Very horrible example for a professional in your profession. Makes you sound like you don’t know what your talking about.
There is no argument over Eli Manning getting into the Hall of Fame.....He shares the same number of super bowl wins as Roger Staubach, Bob Griese John Elway all of whom are already in the Hall. He shares the same amount as his brother, Peyton, and Ben Roethlisberger who both likely will end up in the Hall of Fame. He was a relevant figure in the league for 15 years; whether he was .500 or not. Colin also brings up an important point, you can not tell the NFL story from 2004 to now without talking about Eli Manning. He was the achilles heal of the Patriots, thwarting not only 2 more championships; but keeping them from eternal glory being the 2nd undefeated team in history. You can't ignore history, and that is what the Hall of Fame is all about; immortalizing figures that have had historical impact in the NFL so that their legacy lives on forever.
What stupidity! The 49ers are built on a rock solid defense, and a physical ball control run game. While Jimmy G is a good QB, he is a good game manager of a juggernaut team. He only passed the ball 8 times (?) in the NFC Championship Game. As Bo Schembechler used to say, “It’s the Team,”!
Not a Giants fan but Eli deserves to be in the HOF:
Most passing yards in a post season
Won the SB in 2011 with a 25th ranked defense, lowest defense to win a SB
Eli is the only qb in nfl history to win 4 straight games twice in the playoffs.
Also just the 5th person to be a 2x SB MVP
Ranks 7th all time in passing yards & TD’s.
Farve, Peyton & Marino have thrown more interceptions than Eli. If y’all consider Marino a HOF’er. Than Eli is a guarantee HOF’er.
Belichek won 11 games with a backup in 2008. The same team that Brady the year before in 2007 had arguably the best offense of all time. The backup took one of the GOATs of teams and won 11 games. Not that impressive.
And that back up got traded and didn't do anything.
@@pinocchiosrevenge746 exactly.
Let's be realistic. He's remembered for two passes through 234 games in which the defense was the true hero keeping the Giants in the game against all odds. Eli had two amazing plays, but if even an average Brady shows up, 17 and 21 points are blowouts. 7th all time in yards and TDs? Once you factor in attempts, that "top 10" falls to over 70th in TD % and over 90th in yards per attempts. The people he's tied with or were better are ones that no one would consider to be HoF worthy. He's not worthy by a long shot.
'Unlike Aaron Rodgers' Lmao I lost it there
It isn’t a Colin Cowherd segment without taking a dumb shot at Aaron Rodgers
Eli is currently 7th all-time in both pass yards and TD passes, yet this is somehow a debate. Throw two SB MVPs on top of that and the argument for why he isn't a HOFer is laughable.
The 49ers feel like last years rams
Best skit yet
I with colin on this one. Also I believe that belichick wanted to show what he had in his possession if properly coached
Colin So Shady With Cheapshot On Rodgers. But I Agree With Him On The Jimmy G Conspiracy
blkpanther11 I don’t think it was shady nor do I think it was a cheap shot. I think he’s trying to provide relevant context, as he did with other examples of athletes he mentioned, of where Eli Manning stands. Point of fact, Aaron Rodgers has an under 50% road win record. Yet many people have considered him the best quarterback in the NFL these last few seasons and a definitive hall of famer.
