- This is a cover of "Firelink Shrine" by Motoi Sakuraba from the 2011 game Dark Souls by From Software. I created it through Famitracker with the FDS module (which adds an extra channel with a wave table). The picture is from 72Pins, a site that sells NES cartridge versions of modern video games and movies www.72pins.com/...

This makes it even more depressing XD
More than depressive its nostalgic for some reason
Sounds like life
That light tone ... happy moments short but comfortable
The rest of the tone scary but existing in some how just like playing dark souls... you don't know whats gonna happen but you keep moving forward
The bond I made with this game, is unbreakable..
Just hearing the firelink shrine theme, in any version of way, is the audio equivelant of stepping into my childhood home, surrounded by warmth, good memories, and everlasting calm.
If I could somehow sacrifice myself or trade myself away to be an immortal undead in lordran, I'd take that opportunity in a heartbeat.
Some say heaven is unique for each person.. My heaven would absolutely contain lordran itself.
This is beautiful. I understand why people don't like the strings, but I personally like them, because they give the arrangement a more psychedelic, nostalgic, and overall somber tone. It fits Dark Souls' universe perfectly and I love it.
that 8bit portret of astora's knight hngg
I'm gonna critic this like something on the forums.
Like the FDS waves, but the strings are too bland. Something other than pulse 0 would have been nice. Instrumentation makes or breaks covers like this. Also the pulses are too loud. A good crescendo in the volume macro from maybe 2 to 7 would make this much more listenable.
Oh and pls post the ftm. ;p
wat
@@deusdotexe7683 to be fair, at least they got a useful major like music instead of gender studies.
@@1337ofDiscreet1 lol this has nothing to do with having a music degree, it's just famitracker lingo
Kultrick The Kulprit
I wouldn’t call music a useful degree.
@@sirbillius if you call music degree useless it’s probably you are tone death and can’t appreciate music properly....like a critic saying visual art is useless but said critic is blind, you sir are missing the bigger picture. It may be useless to you but in the end you just failed at comprehending.
8 Bits songs still rules in 2018 and beyond ♥
A song that goes beyond life, a very psychedelic, penetrating rhythm that makes everything that has life become an undead
the 8-bit warrior begins his journey to eliminate the king so he could be the next king of fire bomes
Listen it at x4 speed and it is awesome.
I would made it arpegiated for being more likely but, hey, it's your channel.
I love you man, beautiful
Sounds like an underwater level. Maybe something from Ecco the Dolphin.
Wtf? Have you even played Dark Souls?
LuminousPath13 I've played it *alot* I've beaten it several times. I'm commenting on the feel of the music, not what it is.
