I went down there maybe no more than a week or two later after you uploaded this video. It was far more dry than what it appears here. I was able to have a lot of fun in Hollister HIlls SVRA in my little Subaru, but it can't compare to the approach, departure, and breakover angles of Jeep's crossovers. Thanks for uploading!
Good performance KL! I didn't build it so I can't take credit for that, but if you were comfortable in the seats I can take credit for that. I build the seats for the KL 👍
Did you ever get rock sliders for your jeep? I have to say, even just overlanding, they help make some tough spots a TON easier. And the MOPAR rails are solid as hell. Probably the rest too.
It's been a while since I'm looking for a small but capable 4x4 SUV, your content is really making me go and get a Trailhawk! It's amazing what it can do, people really underestimate it. Love that bumper as well, is it winch compatible? Your whole vehicle looks awesome, thanks for uploading this kind of stuff!

It's from the company Rocky Road Outfitters. Beware, some the paint on mine rust-bubbled and flaked off after less than a year. (And I'm on the west coast!)
KL Overland I've seen those, if I had a KL and a was overlanding it like you are. I think you've spent more time off road in your KL than my XJ has in it's 20 years.
@@VivekSharma-nv4gu I drive a RAM 1500 setup for overlanding. But the trailhawk is very capable in deep snow, take a look at my Winter Fun Festival video which shows it in deep snow. The traction control on the trailhawk is very impressive!
Yes, I have the MFC 1.5" lift and I also had to grind down the pinch welds about 1/4" and cut out some of the plastic to prevent rubbing at full articulation.
If I were to do a 32 inch allterrain tire with the 1.5 inch instead of a mud terrain tire like you did, do you think I would still get the rubbing you described here since the tread is smaller on an all terrain tire?
Unfortunately, I think you would still get rubbing. It's a tight fit even with all the trimming! However, you could probably get away with a 245/75-17 which is 31.5" -- For reference: 245/65-17 = 29.5” x 9.6” (Stock) 255/65-17 = 30.1” x 10” 245/70-17 = 30.5” x 9.6” 265/65-17 = 30.6” x 10.4” 255/70-17 = 31.1” x 10” 245/75-17 = 31.5” x 9.6” 265/70-17 = 31.6” x 10.4” 255/75-17 = 32.1” x 10”
Just stumbled across your video...love it! I have a slightly modified KL Trailhawk ( @tigerhawk_kl on instagram). I would LOVE to give this trail a try. I'm in KY.
Sure you can and you can also leave bits and pieces of your Versa behind while you're at it. Use your head do you honestly think your Nissan Versa would have a hope in Hell of doing those trails.? You would be stuck on the first rut within minutes. You probably have better luck with the Nissan Rogue LOL.
Love your Trailhawk! Does it have a lift in it? I want a lift/bigger tires on mine.
Yes, I have the MFC 1.5" lift and 32" tires. Thanks for watching!
1500 Overland new sub here! Nice ride man. What’s your mpgs?
wow i was underestimating these things
I rode in Hollister Hills in the 70's on dirt bikes, We made our own trails back then!

Sorry for only 720p this time, we left the GoPros at home so this was all shot on my phone!
Nice Jeep! I always see it around Alameda

Yes! Rocky Road Outfitters makes winch compatible bars. Thanks for the comment!
Great stuff brother. Piece of advice, better microphone lol, but I'm sure you knew that. Keep it coming!
Absolutely. I didn't expect anyone to watch these, and I haven't put out a video in a while, but I will up that production value now. :-)
KL Overland looks like over 20k people watch them 😉
what mods did you have to do to get 32's on other than the 1.5" lift
I had to grind away the pinch welds and cut out some of the plastic of the wheel well cover.
I need some pics of your setup.

Have u had issues with the PTU recall???
What kind of bumper do you have? I hate the plastic ones on my 2014 trailhawk
It's from the company Rocky Road Outfitters. Beware, some the paint on mine rust-bubbled and flaked off after less than a year. (And I'm on the west coast!)
Does that have sway bar disconnects on it?
I do not, but MFC does make them.

GreenJeep1998 hahaha man you gotta get your Jeep off road!
what tires do you have? did you upgrade suspension?
It has the MFC 2" spacer lift with 32" BFG K02s tires.
sick G
nice
Were you but the hood bracket mounts
mfcoffroad.com/products/a-pillar-mounts
id like to see how fast it would get stuck with the fwd only mode.
Very fast lol
lol o well. nice trailhawk. id like to have one.
Doesn't have fwd only. On-demand awd all the time.
What bull bar do you have?
That would be the Bumper/Brush Bar Kit from Rocky Road Outfitters.
Do you have the 2.4L or the 3.2L Engine?
I have the 3.2L
What front bumper do you have installed there?
Rocky Road Outfitters Bull Bar www.rocky-road.com/jeep-cherokee-kl-bumper-kit.html
Get the Mfc plus lift kit for that thing. My trailhawk has 6 more inches than yours bro!!
I sold this jeep two years ago lol it wasn't available back then.

Are those the stock A/T tires?
Thanks for giving the video a look! The stock tires are actually only 29.9" - these are 32" BFG KO2s.

i can do the same trail with my Nissan versa,...
