This is a cute and quite efficiently designed home. You packed a lot into this just under 600 sq ft floorplan. I really like the porch.
I like it the only thing I would change in the kitchen is a bigger sink. Take the TV out and stand. Don't watch it. Some different painting inside and outside. 🏠♥️🏡♥️😊👍

The door to the back porch seems a very tight squeeze. I might consider putting the fridge where the storage space is in the kitchen, adding upper cabinets over the stove/oven to make up storage space and putting a microwave/vent over the stove top that actually vents out the roof. Plus, with only 580 heated/cooled (in my opinion) it's just too small for two bedrooms. If you just had one, you could actually have more closet space, a half bath and a private bath for the bedroom. It's a really cute house.

The music was very sweet and a little sad. It does seem the house is designed for the couple in the song, so they can keep on dancing on the porch as they grow old together.
What I like: Good curb appeal, generous living room with entry coat hooks and bench, heating stove on a hearth with TV not mounted over a fireplace, practical kitchen space with provision for some pantry storage access to utilities through an outside door. What I don't like: There is no need for both a tub (especially with a shower) and a shower stall. I don't understand the cabinetry in the laundry area. The kitchen needs more cabinets. What is the dead space in the second bedroom beside the closet? What I'd do: Remove the etagere at the end of the kitchen counter and slide the counter down to match the wall next to the dining table. Move the kitchen window forward about a foot and put a bigger sink (farmhouse type or double sink). Use a full size 30" range with an over the range microwave exhausting out the wall and install upper cabinets. Perhaps a coffee station at the end of the counter. I'd lose the shower stall, use a tub/shower and reconfigure the bathroom into a basic 5' x 8' or reclaim half the current tub space to repurpose as the second bedroom's closet with the linen closet moved into the bathroom and the linen closet space used for a dresser or in-closet shelves/drawers. That would have to change the bedroom pocket door to a swing door. Though I love pocket doors, they probably aren't necessary for most of this plan. Now the floor space in the bedroom is big enough for a queen bed, or bunks and a desk, or an office with a wall bed. I agree with other commenters that a loft would be cool, but without it you have a lot of attic space. I apologize for running off at the pen.
This plan was able to fit quite a lot into a small space. There would seem to be space for a loft bedroom, and I was disappointed. The kitchen needs a better layout to provide more counter, a sensible sink and less of a squeeze for the back door. Pocket doors for bathrooms can let sounds and odors escape.
I like the layout a lot, but would be inclined to enlarge the kitchen/livingroom and add a loft instead of the 2nd bedroom on the main floor, so is not so squished looking. Still great ideas as always 😊
I love wood, but there is too much on the walls.
My pots and pans won't fit in that sink.

Very nice 2 bedroom, one bath home. Not quite as large as I would like but I’ve been thinking about going tiny anyway.
