Episode 1. Love Nebula! Korg is hilarious. The upward inflection of his dialogue is always so positive. Makes you feel like everything's gonna be alright 😊
I think you guys got timelines and universes wrong. Andrew Garfield and Toby McGuire's spidermen ARE variants of Tom Hollands Spiderman. Branched timeline = new universe. Some branched timelines/universes are very similar to ours, and some are very different. This is how I've always understood the multiverse.
15:13 - I don’t think the tree is only 616…bc then why would the Mobius say at the end of Loki s2 “we had some trouble in 616 adjacent”? Wouldn’t he just say in an adjacent realm? Or is Loki’s tree in 616 but the TVA is all universes?
He meant the quantum realm and the events of quantumania because semirealms like the chinese village of chang shi or the quantum realm are conected to 616 but other litlee universe
For season 3 I want to see “What if Thanos didn’t collect the Infinity Stones”, “What if Wanda took America Chavez’s power”, “What if Wanda’s hex was never taken down”, and “What if the other half were snapped”. And I absolutely love the video, keep up the amazing work
Brandon has confused the crap out of me from what he said. I thought I understood the ending of Loki S2 as him now holding every single universe together. X-men, spider men, etc.
The 2nd season continues the awesome vibes of exploration of "What If..." adventures from the 1st season excellently. I thoroughly enjoyed it, looking forward to the 3rd season. I can definitely see Kahhori cross over to the Live-Action world, I would love to witness that.
Do you think there was a theme in this series that universes that were supposed to die, didn't. And that is because Loki saved all the branches from having to die? Which is represented at the end when watcher takes Peggy for a visit.
I am shocked and saddened to know that Jay didn't get one single gift. Thor probably smells like a fresh mountain breeze. My favorite part of What If season 2 was the conquistadors getting their butts kicked.
Jay made a comment that now I am reconsidering how to view season one and two of what if. And that is, what if seasons one, and two were meant to be seen as one giant continues arc so instead of ending it where it ended, if you watch season one and season two back to back all the way through to the end, if then, in fact, the Stephen strange, then makes sense because now that I think about it as a long continuous arc broken down as a season, one and a season two it makes a little bit more sense if you watch it back to back to back because then Stephen, strange at the end of season one leading towards season two the gap doesn’t seem as long because we didn’t wait as long for the episodesif that makes any sense, what do you guys think I accept any comments any replies from anybody I’m kind of curious what everybody thinks
After viewing S1 and S2 of What If? I’ve come to the same conclusion because when I look back on the finale of S1, I find myself thinking Strange Supreme and Captain Carter never gained a conclusion to their arcs and instead had their stories remain open-ended, which makes sense if the layout of the S1 & S2 was to make it 2 parts of a whole.
This made me realize the protagonist of the What If show is truly The Watcher. He's taken a liking to Carter and even beyond that, the titling and the sequence feels very much like an architectural 5th dimension being falling in love with humanity
My season 4 pitches: What if the Phoenix chose Wiccan.. What if Kamala Khan defeated Thanos... pt 1 What if the Xmen saved Thanos.... pt 2 What if Wanda found the Enigma Force..... And based on the recent comics, I just personally really wanna see what if Iron Man and Emma Frost got married but like, authentically
You know, I'm starting to think, maybe we all really should be honoring the social contract of no-spoilers for past films and series', no matter how long ago. Maybe a "3, 2, 1" first, for time enough to hit pause and skip. With so many titles now accessible, I mean I'm almost 40 and my long backlog is probably far shorter than those far younger. I'd love to see film-lovers commit to this, and encourage others to, in the name of preserving the experience for fellow film-lovers.
I want that What If Loki defeated the Avengers and he will help Thanos but betrays him in the end because Loki has the Reality stone/Aether before he gave the Space and Mind stones to him and Thanos will fight Odin and he still has his his army with Gamora, Nebula, Ronan, Loki and Black Order! Loki will kill Thanos after Odin dies and Loki stops Ragnarok from happening by snapping Hela and Surtur away! He rules the Nine Realms at the end!
i would like to see loki take on the watchers role as the guide through the multiverse in season 3...just a whole different vibe going on... like maybe loki encounters the beyonder and kang variants , the multiverse starts falling into chaos and he has to assemble a multiverse team or something that we'll see adapted into live action later on during secret wars
I said oh out loud haha. That's so much more compelling than the super happy ending imo. More room to play later with the now free Widows vs the brainwashed ones too, with TM as a recurring general.
i think what if really puts the rest of the mcu into perspective and they have space to play with all these ideas...but yeah i would love to see a live action version of Kahhori and Blade Runner Nebula....those were probably my favorite parts of season 2 but I did enjoy seeing Hela as a protagonist i just don't know if somethinglike that would work in a live action multiverse scenario maybe inlike a Thor 5 with different versions of Thor and she pops up somewhere it would be fun to see...but i do feel like marvel has big plans for Kahhori ...maybe after secret wars has this Steve Rodgers storyline a hero from the past knocked into the future and with echo coming out it looks like the whole native american thing is something marvel wants to explore and im all for it, especially when you consider the amount of mutants and heroes are native
Ohhhhh gosh, I'm not prepared for the amount of gushing over this season (because it was lazy at best). It needs to stick to being an anthology series similar to Visions in SW. I don't mind the art style even if it's a lil too buttery smooth at times. Noire Nebula was interesting but I'm not sure it stuck the landing. Kahhori was a great origin story. Hela was obviously entertaining-it's Cate Blanchett. The others were more forgettable? Carter was a self-contained story (in S1) and not every single episode will have a complete conclusion or a deep dive into the character. I don't like that we aren't given enough interesting scenarios or new iterations of characters because we MUST revisit S1
I thought that the TVA was protecting the 616 and their were no other timelines/universes until the Loki finale so th Yggdrasil would contain all timelines/universes
It's kinda sad that people have been groomed to need stories to connect now. Like a movie can have agood story, goood direction, good acting but if it doesn't have a post credits scene that links it to a wider universe alot of people will be disappointed for superficial and frankly stupid reasons. Connection does not make a good movie. Plot and direction make a good movie. Seems obvious but...
Every MCU movie ends saying “based on Marvel Comics” which means the MCU is based off the 616 universe. Its not 19999. If they took characters from the page of a comic and had them travel to the MCU then i coud understand it being a different universe. But it is and always has been (mostly) adapting the comics aka the 616 universe. So the MCU is the 616
So then which Miles do you think we're getting with Secret Wars? Spiderverse or Ultimates? Technically it would be the ultimates one who is a stowaway, but we haven't seen Spiderverse 3 yet. From my perspective it should directly be Spiderverse, cuz the comix are their own sacred timeline in a way
That makes zero sense! Based on the 616 means it's not the 616, it's based on the 616. The Ultimate Universe was based on Marvel Comics, the X-Men cartoon was based on Marvel comics, the Avengers Cartoon was based on Marvel comics, are they all the 616? No.
In the 80s Avengers Tony would end up becoming a villain because he's proving something to his dad (maybe bucky is forced to take him out creating that tension w Howard)
Too bad we aren't getting the same Kang Dynasty as imagined cuz I bet they wanted to do the Rama Tut, Immortus and Iron Lad storylines which includes Renslayer being a variant and them not being able to be in love in any timeline. That's so devastating actually. I hadn't really thought about the scope of them scrambling but they're really up the creek
I love Brandon, he’s funny and usually very knowledgeable but he’s like DEAD WRONG. Loki is holding all the strands of the MULTIVERSE, ALL. Not just the sacred timeline ( 616/1999999 ) and it’s off shoot branch timelines. That makes no sense. The Multiverse represents all Universes and all the branch timelines of different Universes. I know this shit is hugely confusing but I’ve never heard anyone suggest what Brandon is saying. And I watch a lot of nerdy shit. I digress
Didn’t enjoy season 2. Hela episode was dreadful, too much Captain Carter - really not sure what Marvel’s fixation on her is. The Kahhori episode was just Pocahontas with powers. I get that Marvel went to influence episodes by films - but for me there was so many loose ends from season 1 that would have made for better stories. Marvel zombies for example - the Zombie Thanos look we got. Season 2 just felt really female overkill, I’m all for equal representation but to me too many of the stories felt like the same, or were just overkill. As for the break room - it’s starting to become a bit of a marvel pandering, I wish these guys would be calling Marvel out for some of this stuff, Season 2 was not good.
I'll never get sick of Atwell's Carter but What If season 4 could do a similar premise with mutant stories and Kate Pryde or Scott Summers as the center and we'd all twerk out of joy so...
You mean his mind because he did not lose because of Carter he had to take himself out. He withstood all infinity gems in the face because he was fill with thousands of powerful creatures.
Odin is like all old white men. He was a bit of an arsehole because that's how all of them acted when they were younger. Pawpaw just looks sweet and harmless because he's old. It isn't until he starts in on some story about a vacation, and spends half of it on the race and ethnicity of the Motel owners/staff that you realize "hey, Pawpaw's a bit effed up."
lol yall making it more confusing its way simpler to say the tva monitors timelines aka universes i know they don’t specifically say that but it feels heavily intended 😂it makes more sense since Loki and the tva are outside of time and space that Loki is holding all the different universes. Especially when what if “a multiverse show” just showed yddrisile during the end of the season finale. 😂seems kinda cut n dry right there
YES ! Brandon finally said what I’ve been saying since Loki . I’m so sick of hearing UA-camrs say Loki is holding the whole vast Marvel multiverse . Thank you Brandon . Thank you New Rockstars .

What was your favorite episode from Season 2 of What If?
Episode 6 was hands down my favorite.
KAHHORI is the coolest concept we got but personally episode 4 fulfilled all my season 1 dreams & more
Hela episode was my favourite.
I mean I really liked all the other episodes but I loved that episode
Episode 1. Love Nebula! Korg is hilarious. The upward inflection of his dialogue is always so positive. Makes you feel like everything's gonna be alright 😊
Kahhori and 1602 were my favorites.
I think I disagree. I feel like the Loki multiverse tree is all the timelines/universes. Sony/Fox/MCU/616/838/199999, etc....
Lokis tree is ALL the timelines. It IS the multiverse
All the branches are timelines
15:13 - I don’t think the tree is only 616…bc then why would the Mobius say at the end of Loki s2 “we had some trouble in 616 adjacent”? Wouldn’t he just say in an adjacent realm? Or is Loki’s tree in 616 but the TVA is all universes?
I agree! I thought the way Loki ended was him finally connecting all universes. X-men, different spider men etc. I didn’t take it only as 616 branches
And I absolutely love the video, keep up the amazing work
The only thing that could cause an issue is the fact that there is only one America Chavez
Brandon has confused the crap out of me from what he said. I thought I understood the ending of Loki S2 as him now holding every single universe together. X-men, spider men, etc.
16:52 true friendship is when you start singing randomly and your BFF joins you 😂❤ Love this trio
The 2nd season continues the awesome vibes of exploration of "What If..." adventures from the 1st season excellently. I thoroughly enjoyed it, looking forward to the 3rd season.
I can definitely see Kahhori cross over to the Live-Action world, I would love to witness that.
Zach’s hand movements while describing Hulk-sized balls shrinking to golf ball-sized balls has me dead 💀 😅. It’s still the same amount of sweat! 🤣
Atwell as Carter in Secret Wars, even if for a quick scene, would be so cool. I still really like her show!
Do you think there was a theme in this series that universes that were supposed to die, didn't. And that is because Loki saved all the branches from having to die? Which is represented at the end when watcher takes Peggy for a visit.
Oh. My. God.
I am shocked and saddened to know that Jay didn't get one single gift. Thor probably smells like a fresh mountain breeze. My favorite part of What If season 2 was the conquistadors getting their butts kicked.
Jay got the gift of getting to bring us joy.
That should be a Disney ride: The What If Meat Grinder.
Another Vid of Greatness, i often ponder: Which is sharper, Grins insights or Zachs perfect cheekbones?
Jay made a comment that now I am reconsidering how to view season one and two of what if. Aren’t timelines and universes the same though? Yggdrasil encompasses the multiverse I thought.
I went to the theater to see Black Widow :) The deleted ending is interesting because the government took Taskmaster.
I said oh out loud haha. That's so much more compelling than the super happy ending imo. More room to play later with the now free Widows vs the brainwashed ones too, with TM as a recurring general.

In 616 universe, Kahhori never received those Tessaract powers, so I doubt the present-day native people would have heard of her.
So in the 1602 episode, was the stone in the sceptre the time stone!? In the sacred time line wasn't the sceptre stone the mind stone? Am I crazy?
What if…Steve jumped out of the plane at the end of First Avenger and survived the crash?
It would be neat if the watcher took Peggy to live with Nomad so they get their happy ending without affecting the original timeline.
Children Of Men Ripped Off Hell Comes To Frogtown?!?!?! WHAT!?!
In season 1 of What If?, Coluson said, even while rotting, he(Thor) smells like lavender
Since Captain Carter is a nexus being, is Steve a nexus being to?
How crazy is the idea that Bucky could have been at Natashas childhood home, BBQing with Red Guardian, trying to blend in.
Ohhhhh gosh, I'm not prepared for the amount of gushing over this season (because it was lazy at best). It needs to stick to being an anthology series similar to Visions in SW. Holy s*** Zack that is a dope doctor strange t-shirt
You should check out the Death of Dr Strange recent run if you haven't, the art in those books look similar
Can't wait for season 3 gotta know who the villain is and what phase is going to be in it....🕷️🌙⚔️
Idk if it was THEE WACHER in guardians2 but we've seen one live action already
It's kinda sad that people have been groomed to need stories to connect now. Like a movie can have agood story, goood direction, good acting but if it doesn't have a post credits scene that links it to a wider universe alot of people will be disappointed for superficial and frankly stupid reasons.

It was a 1969 DODGE CHARGER. Fergawshakes.
You guys should cover the new Percy Jackson

The story between Peggy and Steve works out well since it kinda mirrors Kang and Renslayer.

That's so devastating actually. I hadn't really thought about the scope of them scrambling but they're really up the creek
@@nailinthefashion Pretty sure Iron Lad's love interest is Stature
@@Shadow-Shell I was referring to a Kang that visits the other iterations
After 2 seasons of captain Carter being basically the main character I highly doubt she's gonna "lead" secret wars lol
THANKS for this, BreakRoom!!!!
The Breakroom confirms that Captain Carter is apparently a virgin. Way to go boys.
I think the “reboot” will transition into universe 199999

i for sure think the twist of "it was Strange Supreme all along" was weak. it undid his character arc from S1
