- In this video I show you how to assemble this $170 screen printing press. It's a 4 color 1 station screen printing press that I got from amazon and even though it's not the best in the world, it gets the job done. I've use this exact press in my home screen printing business for years.
It does have it's problems, The instructions to assemble this suck. You need to improvise a lot and sometimes you are missing pieces but hey, that is what makes it fun.

I have been doing graphics, vinyl, embroidery and rhinestones out of my house since 2012. I've always said that I would love to screen print but just never took the leap. You inspire me to just go for it. I'm thinking that I will start off with vinyl screen printing one color t-shirts while I'm learning over the next 6mo. FOLLOW-UP... I ordered this just as I said I would and it has been a mess. They shipped the 1st one to Hidden Valley Lakes, CA. I live in VA. They refunded my money and I had to reorder. I got a email saying that it wasn't available. The money was never taken. GREAT!! I wondered if I should just not do this again, but me being me and not liking to give up , I purchased again. This time it was from another Amazon seller. Sorry that I couldn't help you out. But wait...there's more. This third delivery was held up due to a train derailment. What!!! Yep. So after just about a month, it's finally here. YAY!! It was crazy putting it together and getting the arms to stay down. They instruction were crap and the included DVD was ok but I wish that there voice instruction. So I'm ready to get started...I think...LOL...I am.
@@beingpamb9695 Congrats on starting a new business. I just started myself, well starting. Am brand new to screen printing. I ordered a techtongda 4 station 4 color press. What I got was a 1 station 4 color press. No instructions dvd basically a frisbee, cause it didn't play. Far as trying to get a hold of them, you make out better calling the Bidens. Anyway you can get better instructions from people on here, that's what I had to do. I am interested in the vinyl though.

You are a Inspiration to me all your video's keep me on the game thing we call screen printing. I have the same press as you do over 1 1/2 years now. It's work sometime as far as registration but it does the job as you say. It paid for itself on my first order . I have the 2 station 4 color press which was only 10 or 15 dollars more and only issue was that the platnum arms were slightly twisted. And your last video helped me a lot. Just by talking to people might have landed 3 print jobs. One for football/business, one for just business and one for twins names with pattern. I'm doing this during my down time due to ruptured disc in neck and can only work for and hour or 2 at a time. My wife and I love your videos. Have a great week.

I bought one of these a couple years ago and have been pretty pleased with it. I'm a machinist by trade and it still took me a while to get it together. It's a bunch of freakin' parts. Nothing is labeled clearly. Limited diagrams. Used pictures on the internet and know how to get it done. Get your machinist or mechanic friend to help you.

You say you've used multiples of these by now, do you rememeber what the previous failure points were? I feel like it would be the arm holding the shirt pallet due to the force, have you ever supporter that arm?

just got in my screen press machine from Ebay same 1 u got OMG it was a @#$% pain to put together, instructions was different from video , instructions on paper hard to view..had to make threading fit with screws..took me all day basically, but its worth it like u said..thanks Big Dog

I got a huge cabinet that holds like 20 screens, 20 screens, 9 color press, flash dryer, a bench that can burn new screens, etc. I am blessed and want to try to help out local people. I run a business that helps fundraise and this should help allow me to donate more money.

Hey Reyes, I've been watching a bunch of your videos. Thanks for putting it out there! I run a high school art program and started screen printing with them. I have the same Chinese 4 color press, except I have 4 platens too. My biggest issue is getting all 4 platens to align with the 4 different arms and its hella frustrating. Any suggestions or videos on that?

I had to re weld all my set nuts for holding the screens. Also had to add s exstentions on my springs but it works its cheap cant complain much XD.

Reyes, what is your personal thoughts on how well this machine works? I use a contact printer now. But they are costly for small batches. I already bought a heat press, check out Stahl’s heat transfers.

Thanks for all your tips bro. I need your help .Lets say I have 20 diferent designs to sell in one day and only 5 screens ,would that be very hard to do with screen printing ? Im thinking sublimation is better for me because I have a lot of designs and will be just starting. Cleaning a screen and removing the design to use another seems too much work for low volume. Whats your opinion?
got the press now 2 of the arms don't stay down any ideas on how to fix that.
i bought this same unit but i cant have twospring units per screen holder because of the ring they share at the bottom. its frustraing me but one spring unit per screen holder is working fine. did u have that issue?

Can you tell me what the length is from front of platten to the back of the press without the other 3 stations attached? Just as you have it in the video. thats true i get the 1 color one and i havent use it i have to buy the 4 color 1, the 1 color station is better for liquid adhesive to use foil

Raye's, you put the press together wrong. The screen holder arms don't use nuts. You have the bolts backwards. You also have flat head screws for the black knobs

Quick question, you put emulsion on the screens in a dark room and the screens have to stay in a dark room until you go to expose them right?
LifeWithDylan yes sir but to be honest, i just put a cover over my window and that usually blocks out the light
