    Fished that area since I was probably 5 years old. Pulled thousands of papio out of there. Good job brah. Nice whites

      Thanks for watching! Sorry didn't see your comment sooner. That day was non-stop action, so fun when that happens.

    Fairly experienced shore fisherman here. Been curious about a foot pedal yak for some time now. How much, and where do I go about getting one?

    Amazing video brother! I just started shore fishing out here I’ve done freshwater my whole life but you really made me want to impulse buy a yak and get out there.

      Haha thanks man, appreciate you watching our stuff. What you don't see is all the times we go out and don't catch anything at all lol.

      Off the Yak Trust me i know that feeling too well haha. I can be out for 10 hours and not catch anything and still say it was a good day of fishing.

    We’re u whipping with that bait? Or just casting and leaving it out with that bubble float.

    • @offtheyak8357
      @offtheyak8357  5 років тому +2

      We do both, either one works great WHEN the fish are hungry. You don't see the videos of the days where we go and catch 0 fish though ;)

    That outback really boogies!
    Looks like it was a great day of kayak fishing!
    Me I'm still waiting for the wind to slow down(paddle yak).
    Btw, where did you guys get those fluorescent hats?

    • @offtheyak8357

      Hey Joe! We got them on Amazon, we firmly believe in being as highly visible as possible while out Kayak fishing to avoid being hit by boats, and to help anyone who might need to find us if a rescue is ever needed! www.amazon.com/JORESTECH-high-visibility-safety-giggle/dp/B01MTB04JF/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1531953113&sr=8-2&keywords=safety+yellow+boonie+hat

      Off the Yak
      Awesome, thanks! That's exactly why I was interested in them. That and hopefully I'll be spotted easier if I get in trouble. My yak is pure white, and I feel it might get lost in with the whitecaps. Going to be painting my pvc rod holders a bright color too.

      White can definitely be hard to see in the whitecaps. The hats help a lot! I also recommend a flag on your kayak, and a safety yellow/neon shirt! Having the upper part of your body super vibrant really helps a lot!

      Hey man thanks for the comment and for watching! Sorry we didn't see your comment earlier. I've had everything from lures, to squid, to small goatfish work as bait here.

    Nice job with the video and fishing.
    Question: do you guys really need to keep all that fish?

    • @offtheyak8357
      @offtheyak8357  6 років тому +1

      Thanks! We only kept the ones you see in the pic at the endow probably caught 20+ fish that day and let most of them go. All the ones kept got eaten.

      @@offtheyak8357 i initially gave thumbs down because i couldn't tell what was being kept, looked like was just hooking up, but yeah after seeing the ending photo, props to you. My rule is usually only taking 3 legal ones for myself if i'm lucky enough for nature to bless me. Most times i stop after two nice ones. I find when people fish and keep taking until "the bite stops" it's so disgusting, whether it be papio, or more commonly the akule/menpachi.
      glad to see people having a good day, but still only taking what they plan to eat and not take to market or stuff in da freezer.

    • @offtheyak8357
      @offtheyak8357  5 років тому +1

      Hey@@dasmartretard thanks for watching. We never keep more than we're going to eat. We believe in conservation and preserving the fisheries as well as the rest of nature.
