Thomas is a maternal cousin to me. His ancestor; Fannie Howell, was the sister of my ancestors Elizabeth Howell, who married Frankie Stewart's brother Lt. Jackson R. Stewart, who are my 4X GGPs. Such a sad tale in our ancestral history! Ironically, In 1929; the musical group called The Hot Shots, recorded the Ballad of Frankie Silver. The Fiddler of the Hot Shots was notable Clarence Horton Greene, my 2X great grand uncle & also a great- grand nephew of Frankie Silver. His fiddling is played at the end of cousin Thomas' story here.
Nice video - Jackson was my G G G grandfather and Frankie was his sister.

Interesting story thanks
I wondered how a teenage girl would have the guts and strength to dismember a body. That would take some doing. This made so much sense. Poor Frankie.
I am a descendant of Frankie and Charlie Silver. My mother was named after their daughter Nancy.
We related then. Shes also my decadent
There's no proof that she didn't do it. Parts of his body were found all over her house and property.
I'm from their
Charlie was my cousin
Mine too. My last name is Woody
