BEFORE YOU ASK ME WHAT THE NAME OF THE APP IS, PLEASE READ THE TITLE OF THE VIDEO, AND WATCH THE VIDEO WHERE I MENTION EXACTLY WHAT IT IS WITHIN LITERALLY THE FIRST 15 SECONDS. Thank you.
I came into this video as a lost GarageBand rookie - I came out feeling confident in how to use the app. You somehow covered all the little details without losing me and simplified everything to make it easy to learn. Great video, thank you!
Excellent tutorial - this one and some of your others are helping get a firm grip on Garageband (this time around - I've made several attempts to learn GB in the past but failed). Hard to say exactly why your approach is working better than others, but kudos for sharing some much, so well.
Thanks a lot for that kind of tutorial Could you make a video where you touching musical part of building a song. Like most basic parts of music theory or your own music knowledge that you use to make song sound right ( constructing, settings, rythm, keys )
Everything lol. Notes, scales, chords, theory, time signatures, key signatures, tempos, rhythms, harmonies and melodies. It’s a lot to cover that I wouldn’t be able to do in one video. I mean technically you can start without knowing anything by just using loops but you still will need to at least know how to know what key a song is in or how to make drum patterns. That’s something that’s a bit harder for me to teach because it’s like things you’re supposed to learn in a band class or college band class. Quarter notes, half notes, 8th notes and all that... stuff. It’s just way too much to cover and too much for me to teach even myself because most of that I don’t know proper terminology, I only mostly know what’s good by how it sounds because that’s how I taught myself.
I have a video already on constructing, and multiple on settings, but the theory of it itself is a bit tough to teach. A lot of people on my channel won’t know how to match a c note to a song in the c key, or be able to play a c major scale or a c minor scale. It requires a lot of knowledge. Or just a natural ability to be able to tell which notes go together and which don’t.

@@youngvet1993 So you hear melodies in your head but you don't know how to find their tempo? Or you want to make a specific genre and don't know with what tempo to start?
This helped so much I recently been trying to produce on GarageBand I been using fl studio this whole time when I could’ve been producing and recording from my phone 🔥🙏🏾
Well there are reasons you want to use FL Studio over a phone... you have extreme limitations producing from a phone. I wouldn’t recommend it for professional work especially if you already have FL. Wouldn’t make sense to replace it with that. But your phone could definitely supplement your desktop work.
This video is truly amazing I love music and would love to learn how to make music and it seems like you covered all bases I needed and wanted to know about.
Thanks! My music teacher didn’t explain the app properly when making music so, I will be able to make music easier! 💫Remember to stay safe and wash your hands!💫
Thanx again for a very informative video. .I like that you give the facts of what works for you. . I was working on my maschine mk 3 and had a little trouble with audio clipping....I just started using the program but I'm not that fluent on it yet, I had previously used mostly garage band and studio and I have produced on mix craft where I had people laugh at the fact I used it but it more than did the job and I got comfortable with software using that program,so I love the way you keep it 100 .. you are a true mastermind that creates some great music. . .keep going it's a joy to watch this channel.
Thanks for watching and once again leaving some dope feedback. As far as clipping in Maschine I have the same thing, you just have to turn the master sound down and once you export the song and master it the levels will all come back in post production. Also people give me the same nonsense talk about me recording in Garageband but it honestly does not matter at all. Whatever tools you need to achieve your perfect sound you’re happy with that’s all that matters.
Thank you. Boy you said a lot fast! But. Even at that speed you were clear , organized and I got the feeling you cared more about making sure I could learn this than just feeding you ego. You are a good teacher. I’m 69 years old so that’s saying a lot. Keep up the good work

Great day! Thank you for your tips! You have helped me become a better GarageBand iOS producer. Question: how do you get your 808’s to knock in GarageBand iOS? I downloaded some 808s but every time they hit it the track volume dips. So I’m left with using the stock 808 bass which doesn’t hit hard enough either. Please help. Thank you.
I don’t really produce in Garageband iOS. But when I have I mess with the EQ and compression of the kicks. It’s hard because Garageband iOS is limited in what you can do. But I’d recommend adding slight compression to make it more punchy in the attack, turning up the bass and treble down a little. I believe you can also mess with visual EQ in there to up the frequency where the initial attack/hit of the sound is found.
