#23 Road preparation for lumber trucks: 4 turns and a turnaround Part: 2

- In order to get the timber out after the upcoming forest work a few turns must be widened and a turnaround at the end of the road must be built.
I have to move between the different areas because of the flow of the material delivery
and this will be a series of movies and I will try to sort and edit it together as best I can.
This film covers work on turn 3.
This is more for allowing a higher approach speed, a softer exit and a better view over the crest from both directions.

It's nice to see Hedblom post again! Well better than nice, great to watch this operator and crew produce some really fantastic jobs!
The ease of dropping and picking up the bucket, is fantastic.
Until I saw this series of videos, didn't think much of those buckets. But now I'm convinced they are worth the money. Lots of skill and experience shown here.
@kape well, I said that before I read it cost $65K to install. That's the cost of a second good used machine.
Young ppl need to learn a trade like this person has. This person is a master and could I think could get a good job pretty much any place. Not everyone needs to be deep in debt when they go into the job market.many trade schools at one time were going begging for students ,I'm not sure about now but I would think things have not changed

@kape If he's just a normal Swedish excavator operator, and the rest are on par with him, then the level of Swedish excavator operators must be pretty amazing. Is that what you're saying?

@@yvindascanius6061 swedish and finnish farmer have to use excavators alot when making new fields ditches and roads. so its pretty normal that a big farmer knows how to handle that like a professional

I guess it´s been said before, but let me say it, too: I could literally watch this for hours!
And I have no *** idea why that is.
Those buckets are really cool. I had to run a stupid JCB HydroDig on wheels and that was the only good thing about that machine.
Wow what a difference a twist and tilt bucket with quick hitch makes, back in the day we had to pull V ditches sideways with a wide blade or a V ditching bucket. You could get angles of pull with a Back Hoe machine by adjusting the level with the legs, clean ups were easier with a 4 in 1 front bucket using the clam. Great job.

Trust me it's easy when you are using modern machines. They have many things that make it fairly easy the long as you have learned all the controls. Which takes about 2 weeks to a month.
