Wow, simply wow. I wish i had heard this 10 years ago. I grew up in lukewarm Christianity and have been trying to find the correct path that's true to the word, not our traditions. This was so uplifting and enlightening.
This was like finding a nugget of gold for me. As a new believer who has been caught in the confusion of these two opposing “ditches” in the church, this gave me so much hope and clarity. ❤
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and I can appreciate learning and unlearning as we grew in our understanding of the Word of God. I totally agree with Naela's understanding of Romans 7. I've only heard one other person explain it this way which is really sad and speaks to the importance of reading scripture in context. This time last year I was on vacation in the exact place as now and I listened to both your testimonies. And here we are a year later and look at all the Lord has done. God bless you both. This young lady is the first person I've seen that explains the works and fruits as I've come to believe of those that are truly in God . Beautifully explained . You no longer live to sin, you are dead to sin, meaning it has no more power over you. You have the whole armor of God ! This is the goal of Jesus' sacrifice . This is the fruits of taking the fruit out of Adam and Eves mouths . The return to the closest we can humanly get to worthiness. Keep up the good Word, sister !

Great podcast! It is a process, a transformation that doesn't happen overnight. Much of my journey wasn't planned; I didn't have a checklist of things I hoped to accomplish when I left New Age practices and returned to Christ. I stayed in the Word, prayed for wisdom and discernment, served, established relationships, and changes occurred. When seeking the Lord with everything you have, He will wreck you in the best of ways. I don't think the same, I do not even like the same music or entertainment I did before. It's wild and I wouldn't want it any other way. Anyone who says/thinks being a Christ Follower is boring hasn't encountered the living God. He is anything but boring.

I just read Roman’s 1-8 yesterday and thanks to what you guys said about re-reading what Paul said in context, I have a more clear understanding of being a sinner vs being new in Christ. Amen! There's so much wisdom in this episode! I wish every Christian would watch it. Agree with God's word. Disagree with satan's lies. Go for deliverance if you need it, but then renew your mind through the washing of the word. Stop identifying yourself as a sinner. You are a new creation. You have been made righteous because of Christ's sacrifice. You can walk away from your sin because you have been empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Wow I went from extreme darkness to extreme religion at first too but thank God I was shown the way and delivered from the spirit of religion and condemnation and reading the Bible is what did it. I memorized Romans 8 and Ephesians 3 to battle that spirit of condemnation.
This is the word that the whole body of Christ needs. This was how the church believed a few decades ago -- transformation of mind resulting in a changed life. They used to say and believe ' the things I used to I do them no more. It is a great change since I have been changed.'
Heart posture is fully seen by God alone. A humble heart submitted and full of the Holy Spirit can TRUST God. It does not make you perfect as man defines it…it makes you set apart and holy, by His power alone. I pray we all feel his righteous conviction, conviction of His love and holiness, giving us a desire to walk in righteousness. ♥️I am so grateful that my good works are fruit of walking in His spirit, and that His mercy and grace are there for me when I stumble. Thank you for this thought-provoking conversation, and for encouraging everyone to go to the Word of God always.

My experience in dead religion and the chains that bound me was in seeking and finding truth about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The false teaching of cessationism causes the dead powerless life. No hope for freedom without God's power. My life after Jesus baptized me was a complete game changer. For those that haven't received this, read through the book of Acts. It is Holy Spirit that will empower you. Seek God's truth with all your heart, surrender to the best of your ability and ask Jesus to baptize you. ❤️

My grandfather ministered in deliverance in the 70s and 80s. He read Derek Prince. Since then, it became a neglected ministry. I don't see it as mania. They are reviving a much needed and neglected ministry. I believe God is raising these ministers up.
So simple, so powerful, so widely missed. Evidence that those walking with the Holy Spirit receive Wisdom. The old me is dead, the new me is as capable (thru the Holy Spirit) as Jesus to not sin, so it is a choice. This is challenging and Freeing !

Just washed over with joy!! This is probably one of the most glorifying podcast I have ever heard. I say flesh and blood did not reveal this to you . I have had that same literal sickness from the confusion and conflict coming from deliverance mania . You guys could not have said it any better or made it clearer. I just had to stop and worship. This was so needed. Yes we need deliverance . It is a beautiful powerful miracle and so very vital But it is in renewing the mind and and faith that we becoming a living sacrifice Holy and acceptable to the Lord . we have access by faith into the grace( power and love to do the will of God) and coming into our new identity by that faith and grace. Hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah thank you Lord Jesus. I think of the verse that says what woman ( or man) is she that fears the Lord? , the Lord will teach you in the way that he pleases , your soul will dwell at ease and your children will inherit the earth . I’m scared I rejected God and commit the unforgivable sin. I need to KNOW him and stop relying on religiousity and pride. And I was a bit in new age/new thought more so as well: thank you for this
You didn’t. Many Christian’s are afraid they committed this, but it can really only happen if you completely turn yourself away from God and the Holy Spirit and close your heart off forever. So the fact that you still desire to know him means you have not rejected him permanently.
@Angela Ucci It's almost October. That's your 2 year marker since you came into our family. I just heard that on your podcast with Michael Knowles. You must celebrate. If there's anything people should actually celebrate, it's the day they were born again. Mine was Feb 2001. I went to church alone that night and the Holy Spirit made it very clear that I can't save myself and that I'm guilty as charged. I held back tears. Eventually I didn't want to resist anymore and asked Jesus to forgive me and take my life as His possession. From there on in, the great carpenter started carving away the rough edges.
This was soo good y’all, thank you so so much. As a baby Christian some of this was hard to hear and I pressed on and yea, it all resonates because it’s Truth. Thank you for speaking Truth

Just washed over with joy!! This is probably one of the most glorifying podcast I have ever heard. I say flesh and blood did not reveal this to you . I have had that same literal sickness from the confusion and conflict coming from deliverance mania . You guys could not have said it any better or made it clearer. I just had to stop and worship. This was so needed. Yes we need deliverance . It is a beautiful powerful miracle and so very vital But it is in renewing the mind and and faith that we becoming a living sacrifice Holy and acceptable to the Lord . we have access by faith into the grace( power and love to do the will of God) and coming into our new identity by that faith and grace. Hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah thank you Lord Jesus. I think of the verse that says what woman ( or man) is she that fears the Lord? , the Lord will teach you in the way that he pleases , your soul will dwell at ease and your children will inherit the earth . The secret of the Lord is with those that fear him . He will show them his covenant. Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord for He shall pluck my feet out of the net. Ps 25:12-Thank you so much . Holy Spirit was all over this . Thank you Jesus !!! This was beautiful spirit lead, 😮reasoning it out ,conversation. ❤️
Amen. This is the most important conversation about spiritual warfare and applying the word of God in your daily walk. What we give agreement to, how to renew our mind in the word, the authority we have been given by Christ, our living God.

I'm new to following the righteous path, when Naela mentioned the narrow path and Proverbs 4:25-27 I knew this was the Holy Spirit answering my prayers. You didn’t. Many Christian’s are afraid they committed this, but it can really only happen if you completely turn yourself away from God and the Holy Spirit and close your heart off forever. So the fact that you still desire to know him means you have not rejected him permanently.

@Angela Ucci It's almost October. That's your 2 year marker since you came into our family. I just heard that on your podcast with Michael Knowles. You must celebrate. If there's anything people should actually celebrate, it's the day they were born again. Mine was Feb 2001. I went to church alone that night and the Holy Spirit made it very clear that I can't save myself and that I'm guilty as charged. I held back tears. Eventually I didn't want to resist anymore and asked Jesus to forgive me and take my life as His possession. From there on in, the great carpenter started carving away the rough edges.

Great to see Naela. We were Fb friends but I've come off of there so lost touch. Praise God for how he's sanctiying us all from deception. 😢🙏🙏 Really great points here. All of which I've walked through. It's literally all about Faith in Jesus!! Amen. I think i've struggled with this believe to receive as it's so close to law of attraction but they steal everything from the one true God. He's hugely shown me it's all about my faith in Him!!
