Erica did the friendly banter with clark that never really happened with Lana and Chloe. It also brought a kind of brother sister rivalry feel too. Like they start bonding platonically at first. As opposed to love at first sight with Lana, and Chloe’s unrequited love.
@@aliali-ce3yf Al contrary for me. Only seaaon 7 and some parts of season 8 were disappointing. In season 6 Clark learns to be a great fighter, in season 9 he is a great heroe, almost Superman, and season 10 very emotional. No wonder many people chooce seasons 6 and 9 as their favorites. Erica Durance has made this show a lot better, more dynamic and entertaining.
The comic book genre was dead in the late 90s thanks to Joel Schumachers Batman movies. But it really was Bryan Singer’s X-Men, Smallville, and then Raimi’s Spider-man that kicked off the new wave of comic book movies and intense fandom. Smallville doesn’t get enough credit.
The way they both like their "Romantic banter" so cute!❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥😹😹 I love these two so much! They really are like Lois and Clark when they are together! Their chemistry was insane on Smallville!💘 Best #loisandclark for always and forever!💘💘💘
What really gives it extra weight though, is that episode's very last shot, with Chloe's reaction to the incident. She doesn't say anything, but just looks down and frowns. You can tell in that moment that she's deeply conflicted, happy for Lois but also selfishly still in love with Clark.
She nails the throw on the first try as a spiral and the film crew was so unprepared they didn't even get the whole throw in one shot, which would have been 100 times better. For instance, the first shot means filming the whole throw would have caught the camera person as well.
Agree with Tom and Erica their romantic banter and chemistry was hot!!! Best relationship on the show for sure. No wonder Tom is a huge fan of Lois and Clark, it shows and it's his type of relationship! Plus Tom and Erica just had effortless and natural chemistry.
This was one of those shows where you wonder how the people who chose the cast, managed to do such a great job. What an ensemble cast!…. All great performances!…. Watched all episodes, through the years. The best Lex of any movie/ show… this guy defined Lex. I’ve seen the Superman movies with Reeves, and more. No one played Lex as well.
Both Tom and Erica are still soo Gorgeous! I'd give anything for them work on show together again!🎉 please universe get them to make a show or movie together! ❤❤❤
The only reason I watched Smallville was because of Lois Lane ❤credit to Erica Durance for being absolutely phenomenal 👏 she lifted the whole show with her presence onscreen and took her character as well as Clark's character to next level! Absolute legend!❤
Im currently watching all the seasons again probably for the 3rd or 4th time. Loved Smallville. I was so sad to see it end but you all did a great job.
Michael Rosenbaum is the bitter veteran who's too cool for school. I love that Tom Welling is almost 50, but still sounds the same! Erica Durance is a cool actress who gives it her all and has a terrific recollection of her part in Smallville.
The scene wouldn't have really worked like it did without the song "Happy Ending" by Avril Lavigne. Everytime I hear that song now, I think of that exact scene.
But I loved the light heartiness Erica brought in with her Lois character. It just made for Clark rolling his eyes and going "what's she up to NOW?" lol

There is so many shows now that start up and never get completed and scrapped. Which is so unfair when you start buying the seasons on dvd. Krypton, Heroes, swamp thing, and many many more all scrapped. On netflix etc. Which just shows how popular smallville was to last for 10 seasons and completed in the right way not rushed.
Hey buddy. Love the show my kids still watch it all the time. Maybe you should have someone like me a average fan on see someone else point and love for the show
At first Michael's hating on the show was kind of entertaining, but it's gotten to the point where it's like I'm not sure what you expect dude, it was a 2000 show that was basically a soap opera with some Marvel Superman thrown in. I find Michael shows way more interest if he had more parts in the episode they're talking about and then s**** on everything else as if he's some Golden Globe awarded actor. Sit the hell down. I've seen many people with the same opinion I have and a lot of them have stopped listening to the podcast because of his attitude and that really sucks. Tom should be leading this podcast. Michael is getting tiring tbh
This the girl that likes to see outher man behind Toms back I know you two where married in real life bude that be ashame if he found out that you where cheating on him in shit!!.
Yeah Lois was really annoying ASF. She's right. And no romantic chemistry. Just dealing with each other. Ruffling Clark's hair was like bantering and horse playing. But nothing romantic.

I only watched a few episodes of Smallville when it came out. These clips have gotten me to watch the series from the beginning on Hulu.
That’s what I did. I used to watch it when I had cable but I never finished it so I just finished it completely on Hulu
seasons 1-4 are the best ones . season 5 is ok. and its all downhill after that

I have to disagree the show was much better when Lois comes in permanently@@aliali-ce3yf

The Lois and Clark dynamic always comes out when those two get talking 😂
Yes! I love it!!!!
I hated this
A truly empowered well written female character. Wonderfully played by Erica Durance.

That scene of the throw that dunks Clark into the water was a great scene

She is the best Lois we've ever had.
She was pretty great
Teri Hatcher was also nice😉
1. Teri Hatcher 2. Amy Adams 3. Erica Durance
the rest weren't very good
@@aliali-ce3yf Amy Adams? Lois Lane should be charismatic.
@@aliali-ce3yfAmy Adam’s Lois Lane was so boring. The least Lois Lane like character.
Wow this is so cool to see the three of them chillin. Top Superman show period.
That era of DC TV had a lot of great moments.

One of my favorite Lois and Clark scenes!! They were creating magic literally from the beginning!!

She was the only reason I watched that show.
The same thing with Teri Hatcher on Lois and Clark
I great enjoy Erica’s performance as Lois! I met Erica in New Orleans a few years ago and she was a lovely person!
Loved the banter between Clark and Lois🤩
Underrated!
Well written is one thing, but as this podcast suggests, even 20 years later these folks seem to enjoy each other’s company.
@@fonkenfulyes!!!!
So cool that they asked her about that scene. Jensen gave her tips? It’s so nice to find out little stories like these.
Okay you win, ill rewatch the whole series from the start
ha, i never thought of those moments as they relate to moonlighting. What a great take on it!
And Moonlighting took it from Remington Steele. Same writers (RS to ML)
Coach Teague took his coaching responsibilities seriously lol 🤣 he wanted Lois to drop Clark.
Erica Durance is beauuuuuutiful !!
Well, she used to be hot-ish. I don't know what happened to her though. Geez. Talk about hitting the wall...
Can't believe how amazing Erica still looks. Still absolutely stunning.
Can't believe how old the men got.
Ms. Durance is just so likeable and lovely.

Erica and Lois were the best thing to happen to Smallville. It was so emo before she came along.
I just became a loyal follower after meeting Clark and Lex at Mad Monster in Concord nc this month. It was my Birthday also great bonus .Dean
Lefty Lois Lane. Sounds fitting to me!
Lefty I feel like more connect with her for some reason
She now can be seen in Hallmark Movies. Stunning beauty.
Really? You two? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 perfect Lois line, comedy in a serious moment
I love this woman so much when i was in high school . she was my lois. Her smile was everything 😅
But I loved the light heartiness Erica brought in with her Lois character. It just made for Clark rolling his eyes and going "what's she up to NOW?" lol
I love this woman since i saw her in Stargate...
Loved Erica Durance as LoisLane although funny story she actually she play Kara’s Mother in Supergirl
Erica you will always be my favorite Lois, hands down
She’s did good throwing a football though
Erica I Love all the music clips
I always loved Clark and Lois' dialogue.
Erica Durance was hands down the best Lois Lane we ever had. Terri Hatcher came close, but Erica is number 1.
I wish there was behind the scenes of the clois flying shots like Spider-Man just released
Erica Durance

i wasn't a Lois fan until that dunk scene, then it was easy to see they had chemistry. not the same as clark-lana, but still good
