- I went through some of my old VHS tapes, and found this recording of a Phil Collins interview with Dutch talkshow host Karel van de Graaf. Phil talks about his new Dance into the Light album, his live and being a celebrity, and performs two tracks of the album: Dance into the Light and It's in Your Eyes. It's an old VHS recording, so the quality isn't great, but I hope you enjoy it anyways ;-)
Phil is CUTE 🥰 AS A BUTTON!! I had a crush on him from the moment I laid eyes on him... About age 3! How funny is that! He’s 45 in this interview & I’m now 42! He’s still cute 🥰. His personality makes him!

DRUMMING IS HARD AS HECK, people! NO ONE ☝🏻 SHOULD BULLY THE DRUMMER! Especially Phil... He DESERVES HUGS 🤗! I just want rub his bald head & give him a hug 🤗! He’s soooo sweet & endearing! He’s cute as a button! I remember always having a crush on him... He was 45 when he did this interview & I just now turned 42! I STILL think he’s a doll!

In fact phil collins sings live but the band in this tv show didn't played for real that was the backing instrumental studio
Lee Sklar (Phil's bassist- the guy with the beard) tells a story of the guys doing a meet and greet after a show, and a "celebrity" would find their way backstage. Lee says Phil would get nervous and ask him if he thought the star would be willing to take a picture with him...
Meanwhile, the band would laugh and tell him the star was asking the same question.....

I remember Singing along with this song (“Dance Into the Light”) while working 10-hr pharmacy shifts! We would ROCK OUT when Phil Collins, Rod Stewart, Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, or the Eagles would come on the radio! We would turn up the music via the telephones echoing over the store! LOL 😂! I was CONSTANTLY being told, “TURN IT DOWN, Susan!” To me there’s no such thing as “too loud music!” Tee-He!

@MUSIC WORLD VISION I think he’s referring to the band in this video which has none of the normal band members.
Ummmm... Where is the Commentator’s English Subtitles? LOL 😂! At first I thought it was my phone’s volume messed up!
I'm a fan, but it's really silly and frankly, un-Phillish, for him to stand there with a guitar pretending to play when he actually isn't doing so.
Other than that: great interview!
