My Dad went to high school with Meech. I remember when I was younger, we were in Atlanta for NBA All-Star Break and we were at the mall. Some guy walked up and said what up to my Dad out of nowhere. My Dad said, "What up Meech?!" and they caught up for about 35 minutes. I had NO idea who it was until I got older. Crazy!

My boy from Albion HS which is in Michigan went to Morehouse in Atlanta. He went for engineering. My boy worked at Butler Tire in Buckhead. He installed the hidden departments in some of their cars. Meech and BMF sent my boy all kinds of celebrity business! One time I went to Atlanta and some of the BMF members showed my boy mad love! Gave us each a bottle! He eventually started his own car shop with a partnership with 404 Motors.

Their days were numbered, the feds just needed enough hard evidence to take the whole organization down all at once. We now have an Irish mob being tracked by the Feds currently, but the difference is, they put out 1m bounties to find some of the leaders who have fled. @Cadillac Calhoun: So sad and true. I have said that MANY TIMES, guilty of it myself. We looked up to, respected, the guys that went to jail, prison, the ones who were released from prison, etc. In the ghetto it was slowly ingrained in the psyche as a “right of passage.” The neighbors who joined the military, went for higher learning, etc, were looked upon as “nerds, guys who couldn’t get the pretty girls,” etc. Also sad, even the females were attracted to these “bad boys.” What a warped way of thinking.😩 I can’t lie, even through the years as I aged, many women are STILL attracted to the “bad boy” image. The women still are attracted to the swagger, confidence, the possibility of danger, BUT their wisdom and common sense snaps them awake after a few days of “Dancing with the devil.” I’m in my early 50’s and it’s an ego boost when a pretty girl, half my age tempts the “devil,” but am married, would be taking advantage of the unwise and pity these women because they do not know the pain that awaits on the other side of that door they are seeking to open….
