Here's another custom cuban link chain we finished today. This white gold chain is iced out with all round-cut vvs moissanite diamonds. The entire chain weighs exactly 288 grams and has a total diamond carat weight of 27.54 carats.
The client first contacted us 3 weeks ago on Instagram, saying they want to get a custom cuban link chain done. After some communication with the client, we decided to customize the clasp of this chain with the letters "FATBOY" in rose gold. After receiving the deposit payment of $250, we got to work. We first tried out different fonts and after a few days we decided to go with this comic font. Once the client had confirmed the font, we moved on to creating the CAD design which looked like this.
After the client had given us the green light on the CAD image, we started the production which took around 3 weeks. We made this cuban chain entirely out of 925 sterling silver which we then plated with 10 karat white gold.
And ofcourse, this cuban chain passes the diamond tester. Moissanite conducts heat in a similar manner as to natural diamonds, which is why it's always going to pass the diamond tester. Colorless moissanite means the diamond is considered chemically pure by GIA standards and it's also the rarest and purest grade of moissanite since it's completely clear and does not fade or get cloudy over time.
When You get a chain with ICEATL, You don't have to worry about it tarnishing or fading over time, as long as You take good care of it and clean it every once in a while. This chain is not suspectible to tarnishing in a pure oxygen environment. The only thing that can cause tarnishing are harsh chemicals, such as chlorine for example. Chemicals can cause fading over time so You should always remember to rinse Your jewelry with clean water every once in a while.
For the lock mechanism on this chain, we used a box clasp which is never going to break. You don't have to worry about it breaking or falling off. You can wear it every day, take it in the water, jump around on stage with it and this chain is never going to break.
Moissanite also has the most brilliance of any diamond in the world. Brilliance is measured by the amount of light reflected back at your eye. This is why You always notice how crazy the shine is on our jewelry. Moissanite reflects more light and can withstand much higher temperatures than natural diamonds.
