I just finished this game (100% on all story lines). What a game, kinda sad at the same time that I finished this game already. Too bad they wont do the sequel for this. Thank you for all the guides that you made! Really helped me finish the game

Honestly FM, not that much action in this one to show off skills, but very kind of you to say so. The intro to the South is now taken care of, so now I have the South at my mercy (or is it the other way round, lol), and normal carnage will now resume. And OMG, 10K ain't that far away now, I must be dreaming, lol.
I love Borislav's playing days gone. I enjoy his comments while playing and no one can do this game,e as well as Borislav.🎮

Lol, Basil Fawlty?!! God that show was so great! I tell everyone who will listen that the fire drill episode was, imo, the greatest sitcom episode in the history of television!Haven’t thought about that in a while, thanks for the reminder…Time for a rewatch!
Lol, I will admit, I make a few references about Fawlty Towers over the course of this playthrough. And you're right Steve, an absolutely amazing series.
When I saw the ring on Kouri’s finger the first time, I felt so sorry for Deacon…I thought Sarah had gotten with Kouri and how heartbroken would Deek be if he find out 😂 oh btw I wonder if anyone like me went out to look for that waterfall/pot farm in the proposal cut scene….its actually very near the cabin where we find the puppy if anyone is curious to know
Indeed mate, I felt it for Deek too the first time I saw it. And the waterfall bit, always cracks me up that one of the most beautiful areas in the game, is not that far away from the bloody Sawmill horde, lol.

Felt sorry for this character.
He was loyal👂but he had his demons.
Oh Angela, the first time I played this game, I loved the Wade Taylor character, but, later events changed all that for me. I'm not a forgiving person, and what he did, I simply couldn't forgive. Thank you for your amazingly kind comments as always Angela.

@@Angela-i5i Indeed Angela. I was torn with emotions on this story line, as Wade really didn't seem like a bad guy, but it just shows what drugs can do to anyone.
The Rager fight was tense! I had one of those rare encounters where a Breaker and a Rager were fighting each other and I came across them, saw what was happening and hurried away on the bike. I'm thinking the Reacher later on will be a 'challenge' too Boris ;)
Yes John, there is trouble ahead with the Reachers for sure. Thankfully, they ain't unlocked for a while yet.

You made it to the South! Yay! I am almost at the exact same place in my current playthrough as you are. With one key difference. I’m on NG+ with all the perks lol. As much as I love the Deacon and Sarah slow walk flashback because it really is sweet, I wish we could skip it. 25+ times and I can quote each line word for word. Now I just mute my TV until it’s over lol . Luckily you can skip all the introductions at Wizard Island! There’s some great missions coming up, I can’t wait to see what’s next for you! Cougars? Check. Screamers? Check. Breakers? Check. Wolves and Runners and Bears and Ragers? Check, check, check, and check. Newts? Big check. Criers? Check. And a little friendly guy called a Reacher who just wants to give you a big ole hug. Check. Oh, and did I mention the Hordes? Check! Haha. I’m expecting a lot of f-bombs and bloody hell’s in your future! Looking forward to the next one!
LMAO Violet. You KNOW what's coming. The introduction of the South has been taken care of, so now, I start to go rogue again, as there are certain things I like to take care of when I first get to the South. It's going to be fun, with some rather colourful commentary to compliment the craziness. And yes, the slow walk flashbacks are good the first time you watch them, but not being able to ever skip them, that's some top level cruelty from Bend Studio right there, lol.

You can actually get a Superior Metal Axe after the cut scene with Deacan & Sara's slow walk to Wizard Island. As you move to the bikes with Captain Kurie, there is one propped up by a bench close by.
Damn, I didn't know about that one Mark. Thank you for that info mate. I pick one up very early in the next episode though, so it's all good.
@@markryde9825 I think it is a superior mace rather than the axe, still a great melee weapon though
@@pantboy72 You are correct. The Superior Metal Axe is just across the road, on the ground by a blue vehicle. There is definitely one in that area, I just get the two mixed up.

This episode has the one cut scene that gives me pause whenever I think about another run. The horrors of the mandatory slow walking! I cannot convey how much I hate it. Blah I was messing around yesterday and discovered you can climb the rock by the rager bear house and then jump on the roof! Happy days. I lured over some swarmers and none of them were able to climb up, but hordes behave differently. I'll try the McLeod Ridge horde from their feeding location and see what happens. Could have saved a ton of ammo on the last run by using the big exploding tank! LOL Nice easy episode this time. I can't wait until the missions get crazy! Woohoo!! Thanks for the surprise upload.
Indeed TW, the slow walking scenes are criminal as you can't skip them. I will always leave them in for recorded playthroughs, but they are beyond belief when you just want to push on. Anyhow, now I've got the introduction South episode taken care of, normal service will resume in the next one, as I'm going rogue again, lol.
That rager bear 🐻 fight was intense, the whole opening and first mission takes so much time before you get full access to the entire southern region. Those slow walking scenes do get annoying the more times you play 😂 still enjoyable and entertaining as usual Boris 👍🏻👍🏻

At the end of the flashback scene with Sarah when u are at the viewpoint overlooking wizard island, there is a superior metal axe at the rear of the car on other side of the road. I think it's the best melee in the game for durability
It is indeed Allan. Not a problem though, as I pick up one of these bad boys very early on the next episode. There is one very near the Diamond Lake camp.
Hello, Boris. Lowkey been watching this awesome extreme playthrough. Just so you know there's a good melee weapon on this spot right there in this timeline 49:52 . The 2nd best melee weapon in the game. You kinda miss it there hehe. Anyways great video as always.

I never realised the first couple of times I played that you could skip all the Colonels talking/walking around, it makes it so much more bearable
Yes indeed WS. In playthroughs where I'm not recording, I always skip them, except for the scene where Deek meets Sarah for the first time of course.
I'm not sure if anyone else has seen it but you can actually go to the scenic spot Deek proposes to sarah,when looking at the map theres a small forest to the right of the old saw mill,there's a dirt road with a small wooden bridge on the other side,go there and you'll see the fence and the no trespassing sign, drive around the fence,over the stream and follow the trail,nothing special happens,I encountered two freakers and a lone marauder and yes the weed is still there and thriving 😂😂
Yes indeed mate. It always made me laugh that one of the best beauty spots is so close to the largest horde in the game.

26:30 ish) I'm still doing the Hard difficulty playthrough (idk if this matters at all). I shot this wolf with the crossbow and somehow that was enough to immediately get me trust level 1. Don't recall that happening my first playthrough, perhaps I just forgot. Was hoping to see it that always happens but pretty certain you already leveled up the trust by selling stuff.
On my first playthrough I was surprised to level up the trust in the next camp just for selling stuff - pretty sure it took me some missions before level 1 here. Then again, can't trust my memory so idk 😮💨

You'll need to play it again for sure, such a hardship, lol. Lots of stuff contribute towards the trust L8D, so chances are, you had been very busy before shooting that wolf, lol.
@@borislav247 Nope! Not this time, it was _very_ strange! All I'd done was kill the rager, meet Kouri & follow along the story to this point. Hadn't sold anything (saved for wizard island) nor done anything else in the south at all yet. Can't wait to do it again & see if the results differ.
As an aside, I've been enjoying watching/listening to some of your videos in this playlist over & over while I'm playing the game lately 😁

Boris, do you intend to do all of the post-game hordes on this run? If so, I'm wondering how you're going to handle the "Just doing My Job" horde. Should be something to see!
Will be perfectly honest, I don't take on this horde purely because it's not an official horde. The mission just requires you to escape, and my bike cannot be used to restock on ammo as it's outside, so I wouldn't be able to take this lot out entirely due to my limited resources. I do show a good way to get out of this cave section though.
@@borislav247 I think you misunderstood. I don't have an issue if you don't do the "Just doing My Job" horde; I was just wondering if you were going to do all of the post game hordes. You'll be locked out of the Beaver Marsh Rest Stop horde since you're skipping that one. The other mission horde that gave me a headache was the Ice Wind Lava Cave. Good luck with that one! That was a pain in my backside lol.

Somehow I feel north is better than south. This is my personal opinion
The North is certainly more picturesque than the South, but I love the bigger hordes that come with the South.

44:30 I felt super special for a moment the other day when I found the pot farm & found a way up the rocks up into it...didn't last long unfortunately, Deek drove face first into an invisible wall - couldn't find a way around it.
Still, it was fun to explore an area I'd only seen via cut scene. Beautiful area/scenery!!!
This game just keeps on giving - over 500hrs of playtime and still nowhere near fully explored
